Growing up, my mother did a lot of terrible things to me even till I became an adult. I'm 40 now and she's aged.

She's trying to be kind to me now and I've forgiven her or so I thought. My life didn't turn out well the way I wanted because of her curse and evil mind towards me.

She regrets everything now and I have moved on but the memories fail to leave me. I've tried as much as possible to forget those things but I can't and each time I remember them I feel this rage inside of me.

my dear. It is well. I am in the same shoe too just that I can't forget even though I have forgiven her. But we move and hopefully we correct their mistakes on our own children.

The decision to suspend the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Sanusi Lamido was based on a report of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria dated June 7, 2013.

The report was made after a review of Sanusi’s response to the query issued to him by the President over the apex bank’s financial statement of 2012. His response was dated May 20, 2013.

According to a copy of the report obtained by our correspondent on Thursday, the council indicates that the explanation provided by the suspended CBN governor is “a clear display of incompetence, nonchalance, fraud, wastefulness, and abuse of due process and deliberate efforts to misrepresent facts on the part of the leadership of the CBN.”

The council advised the President to exercise the powers conferred on him by Section 11(2)(f) of the CBN Act 2007 or invoke Section 11(2)(c) of the said Act “and cause the governor and the deputy governors to cease from holding office in the CBN.”

The report read: The particulars of the infractions against Sanusi are:

Persistent refusal and/or negligence to comply with the Public Procurement Act in the procurement practices of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

(A) By virtue of Section 15 (1)(a) of the Public Procurement Act, the provisions of the Act are expected to comply to ‘all procurement of goods, works and services carried out by the Federal Government of Nigeria and all procurement entities.’ This definition clearly includes the Central Bank of Nigeria.

(B) It is however regrettable that the Central Bank of Nigeria, under his leadership, has refused and/or neglected to comply with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act (PPA). You will recall that one of the primary reasons for the enactment of the PPA was the need to promote transparency, competitiveness, cost of effectiveness and professionalism in the public sector procurement system.

Good evening everyone. Please I really need your help. My mom has been ill since December 2022, we thought it was partial stroke because the left part of her body got paralysed. People advised us to treat her using herbalists and herbs. Boil down to this year January 2024, her condition started becoming critical and more weak, so I made the post on Facebook because of depression, because honestly the whole thing has become draining that I and my siblings can't even eat properly because of the expenses. So on Facebook, several people advised we take her to the hospital. When we got to the hospital, we were asked to run a brain CT scan test. The result just came out and it's showing that our mom I having a brain tumour, so they placed her on drugs, the drugs alone is 20k per week and we were asked to go for a surgery or else the tumour would burst. The surgery is N4,000,000 and honestly we don't know where to get such funds from because we all are struggling to survive. The doctor is urging us to be fast about it or we should be giving her drugs everyday, the drugs alone is 20k weekly, which we can barely afford. The location for the operation is FMC Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. Dear Nairalanders please help a draining family please because we don't want our mom to die. She just keep on having seizures upon seizures. Please help us. Thank you for understanding.
