The Chinese are really strategising and taking the lead seat in African economy. Now I know why Merkel, and Theresa May rushed to Africa last week. While Kenyatta was invited to Washington.

The West knew about this conference so they all rushed here to cut there own deals before China take everything. A lot is really going on.

Also do u know there are some sophisticated and high class looking ladies out there, that are submissive, smart, go getters and dedicated?
But you won't know until u come close to them. It's not all about the looks , it's about the character. Not all supposedly looking high class women are living highlife.
Some are looking high class due to their kind of buisnesses they operate, all to draw customers but as soon as they enter the four walls of their homes or comfort zone. They are meek, humble and natural. Not all but some are like that.
I am not saying that there are not good women with high class. But they are very rare

And then also good women with high class rarely stay single. There are high traffic of guys around them. So they are quickly married.

Most of the women around come with a lot of drama. Can talk brashly, rudely and disrespectfully.

But from personal experience not so flashy girls are much easier to blend as a wife. As a man I can cook, keep my surrounding neat, even take care of a baby. But my encounter with these simple young women changed my perception. Wash my clothes, cook, keep house neat and listen to instruction. Invariably running a home is nothing to them.

So then I ask myself why Will a man go in the name of marrying high spec girl, bring in someone that will be trouble from day one. When you can get a woman that will give you peace in your home. Respect you, give you sound advice and grow with you. Why?

Also if a woman keep attracting wrong type of guys. She should check himself. There are still good guys out there. Wonderful guys, just that they set unnecessary standards and then fall prey to bad guys.

My dear, that's a very good question.
I asked myself same question and the answer I got is this :
Men who are trained well, prefer ladies who do not look flashy . In their mind, they feel flashy or very pretty ladies are either promiscuous or badly trained. These men size up women from afar, based on the lady's look and that's where they miss it.
They feel a dull looking, plain or average is the ideal wife material. But most times, it doesn't work that way. That's another reason u see good men married to troublesome wives grin
When the dotted lines are signed, that plain meek Jane u feel is a perfect wife material becomes a thorn in their flesh. So u cant judge a book by its cover. Not all pretty ladies are evil, not all plain Jane are perfect.

While the untrained guys, spoilt, egoistical guys love to show off, so they go after pretty and flashy ladies pretending at first to be the ideal man but after a week or so, they can't keep up such fake good guy attitude anymore. They now show their real character, take it or leave it they don't care. There are so many fishes to catch anyways, so their mind tells them.

But I thank God am wiser now. This life ehn? One will be seeking for love and companionship but God will say that's not where I want your focus to be. At 22yrs , I was still a virgin and wanted to marry immediately settle down and have kids after my youth service but heartbreaks No let me rest.
To survive ,I had to focus all my energies and mind on buisness later on. At least at all at all naim bad pass.

I made my first million naira at the age of 26years old, since then I delved into my career and Making money came so easy for me. A time people thought I was into money rituals but I wasnt. Even at that the monies didn't freak me but that's what God wanted me to have first, as love almost killed me.

But who am I to complain? Life has taught me to accept there is a higher being ordering our steps and handling what comes our way. There are things we have no control over. That's what I know about life.
I think you got the answer there. The average Nigerian man wants to marry a submissive, obedient wife. And you normally get that from not so flashy girls.

If you look at the thread you find out that most of these modern girls are brash, rude, disrespectful and no man will tolerate that

Also many guys have high eyes so they keep on going to women they feel are high class, but they can't maintain there high lifestyle.

So guys should remove all those high standards, they will see simple women who will give them peace. They can package their wife to their standards they want

Even till today christains interpret the bible the way it seem fit..As we all know the bible is manipulated and reinterpreted in ways men seem fit so many things could have transpired take it or leave it thats thats the truth so religion shouldnt take away our common sense..Nothing is perfect not even the BIBLE take it, or leave it. You might be correct about this grace issue while Im wrong as no one was there to know what really happened back then so no overreligious attitude like I earlier said in christianity.. lol...Jesus words back then in the ears of men and pharisees back then distablized the words and prophesies of the prophets wink I'm just a guy interpreting the whole thing the way it is and not the way I think it should be.

John 3 vs 16 for God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son that who so ever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

There is no manipulation. Gods word is life. I repeat it is all about Jesus. Nothing more.
Its all about the holy spirit at work in the life of a believer.

Our salvation is strictly based on what Jesus did and what the holy spirit is doing daily in our lives.
It is a daily walk. Step by step following after the Lord.

Did you read the whole discussion please? And where did I misquote.. Where did I say God decleared to make anyone filthy? According to the bible You become fithy if you do not keep to his laws and commadments captilizing solely on grace because you believe the law is too hard..Even if I said he makes someone filthy which I didnt!Even though I remember the same bible talked about God hardening pharaoh heart to his destruction..So God likes and delights to destroy people before abi because they have sinned...This is another argument..Let me see how good you guys are in the scriptures..God is all knowing never makes mistakes is what people say to defend him, we are all responsible for our actions going against his commandments he burns us in hell while he is the one that helps us if we are living a righteous life.. We are not to say because we keep the law we are righteous like op said.. grin this is so contracdicting and confusing folks..Kind of confusing and contradicting right grin
You are the one confused. Can man attain righteousness by his deeds? Capital no. Our righteousness was simply because of what Jesus did. It took God coming in the likeness of flesh to redeem us. When we understand this is when we even fall deeply in love with the Lord. We live for the Lord.

Religion, dos and donts was not what changed the world during the apostles time that it was said that they turned their world upside down. Salvation comes only by Jesus Christ. When john the Baptist saw the Lord he said of him behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.

Its all about Jesus and what he did for us.

HEFAIROHLUWA:

If God knows we cannot obey the law why give it out for us to adhere to...meaning you are saying he is stupid and doesnt think before acting? How do we walk in the spirit if we cannot obey the simple laws he gave us while keeping the new law too "love your neighbour as yourself" so this means I can start living a careless and ignorance life claiming i'm under grace..Remember he himself complained about the israelites going into sin and coming back seconds later to provide burnt offering as remmission of their sins and that he is sick of such robotic and zombie attitude.. the same bible said "should we abide in grace and say sin should abound? Have you forgotten that? Now I can love my neighbour as myself while still commiting fornication as long as I did not force the person Im commiting it with to engage in such with me and also keep going back to claim grace and ask for forgiveness right? God said he will forgive us anyday anytime we ask for his forgiveness right? Now tell me what will happen to such after commiting fornication such person dies and didnt remember to ask for forgiveness within that seconds as per what im told he/she gets an automatic ticket to hell right? lol...Whether the bible was edited or not whether the bible is complete or not..The truth remains that so many things were manipulated even the bible said it and placed a curse in the book of revelation.. Whether I believe in the whole story or not my main point is that christains should not be too over religious regarding something that happened thousands of years ago and start contradicting themselves "love" is the most paramount and as per what the bible and jesus said " he has not come to take away the law but that the law through him might be fufilled.. So what im saying as per the bible is that you cannot tell me the law is useless if you tell me so then you are indirectly calling the all knowing God stupid. And thats the truth because he is the law as per what the bible says!
I gave you a practical reply from the scriptures not my own concept.

Read through the Bible and you will see that religion has blinded the minds of people from knowing the living God.

The righteousness of man is like a filthy rag. Can man save himself? Not at all. It took Christ coming in the likeness of sinful flesh to pay the Price and atone us from Sin.
Salvation is all about Jesus and not keeping the law. Why did the scribes, Pharisees couldn't accept Jesus? Yet they were followers of the law. Yet they were the ones that crucified the Lord. Moreover even in the book of Acts they still were persecuting the Church of which apostle Paul was chief among them. Until Jesus attested him on the way to Damascus.

See as christians are contradicting themselves..If I should bring out the errors from this long story it will be a never ending topic. And I noticed if person don dey yarn too much na nonsense he go dey talk. me sef wan go back to my silent self grin cos i can clearly see this world is a confused and manipulated one..Only GOD knows how many writers have reedited the real torah/scriptures(bible) before it was dished out to us wey we come carry am for head like something hen...BACK to you pastor "I too know all" wasnt it the same Jesus that after healing always say "Go and sin no more lest a worst thing happen to you" ? Contrary to your I too know all and oversabi researches "If you dont try your best to keep the moral laws how can you claim grace"
I am not an authority on this topic but let me say the Little's I know.

Romans 8 vs 2: what the law could not do in that it was weakened by the flesh. God sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin condemned sin in the flesh. That the righteous requirements of the law may be met by us who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit.

In Zechariah it says its not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord.

See no matter how we try to obey the tenets of the law, we cannot. Because of the flesh. Jesus condemned sin in the flesh and the only way we practice the law is simply by the spirit.

I repeat no human being can ever be justified by keeping the law. Never. What makes us right is simply because of what Jesus did. And we begin to activate it in our life by walking in the spirit. According to Galatians 5 vs 22.

Our main focus should be bearing the fruits of the holy spirit which are: love, joy, peace, Patience, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, meekness and self control against which there is no law.

If you look at those fruits. It is the holy spirit that bears in the life of a believer. By simply yielding to the spirit. Amen

Lagos State government has got it right too.

It is a pity we equate an educated person based on the quality of English he can speak. English is not our language, it is a borrowed language.
And this to me is one of the strongest effect of colonialism still enslaving us. We must uphold our languages.

You won't understand, that's why you mock him. May God have mercy on your soul. It is more blessed to give than to receive. You don't know that giving is an open door to blessings. Not just money but life, health which is the most important.

For example a man like Bill Gates single handedly wiped out polio from northern Nigeria with his money. And Bill Gates is still alive today. Where is his contemporary Steve Jobs? Gone, dead. I am not saying anything concerning the dead but giving prolongs life, protects life. And there is so much blessings associated with giving.

And guess the greatest giver? God. He has given us life, and everything we see on the earth. God is indeed good.

Nothing is wrong about playing the role of a full time house wife.

Many people won't get jobs. More would go into business to avoid what people like you would say, but end up with losses. To avoid closing shop, more will pump more money to the business and continue to lose, just to "keep body and soul together".

With understanding, playing the role of a fulltime house wife at some point of a woman's life can be mutually beneficial. If staying at home will enable families save cost, then I'm in total support. Most of the time, staying at home save costs.
But not in the case of this woman. She should go find something doing. I don't even support a woman being jobless. I have sisters married and from experience I will never ever support a woman doing nothing. And a lot of our men are horrible.
So in this modern times, a woman is meant to be gainfully employed, making money.

APC is the poorest form of government any group could have...I bet they can't manage a primary class well.
But away from APC, PDP is only better than APC,they're not the type of Government we need either.
When our local product is more expensive than imported goods....that only tells us a thing...Nigeria is lazy...Nigerians on the other hand are quite hardworking, but the government policy is only there for few people who believe they own the country.
Tin tomato is #50 which sure much than fresh tomato.
Tin milk is 200 while fresh milk is almost not available,I only tasted that once.
Titus fish is 300 while catfish is 550 (the same size)
Frozen chicken is 1400 while live/life chicken is 3500.
I can go on and on....
If our produce are not affordable, how on earth do we think we can break the international market.
Una never add shipping fee and taxes E no dey affordable for the locals...
Just imagine say Innoson cost pas Toyota.
The problem is from our policy makers. Infact local production can generate serious economic multiplier effect but the policy makers don't care about the local ordinary man.

If the government want they can crash the price, via consumer protection council. By first crashing the price of local raw materials. Giving incentives to local producers like funds, grants and subsidies. Farmers in US and even China get subsidies from the government, thereby there products are cheap on the international/global markets. Even the Arab airlines like Emirates, Qatar, etihad are subsidised, that's why many western airlines cannot match them.

We have very wicked, dull and completely uninformed policy makers. And they don't understand that local production is the key to unlocking Nigeria's economic potential which has a scary proportion if you look at the numbers.
FoodRe: Why Nigerian Rice Is Expensive And Scarce - Fatimah Aliyu by djon78(m): 2:47pm On Aug 30, 2018
Nigeria is just a very funny country. There is a lot of dishonesty in the system. Why do we really do this to ourselves?

They are just being dishonest, they just want the high price of rice to continue. Because if there has been a significant amount of rice produced locally, the wise thing to do is to crash the price of local rice. If done, there will be higher demand resulting in more production. Thereby we can easily produce for the entire nation and even for export. And on the other hand improving on the quality of local rice to beat foreign ones.

But no they won't do that. They will only hoard the local rice to sustain High price of rice. This keeps on sustaining the demand for foreign rice.

This is basic economics but our people won't use their brain to think. What a nation.

More the government is not helping the matter. In other countries where things work, the consumer protection council sets price of daily used commodities and staples like flour, wheat, sugar, maize, rice. But where are our own consumer protection council?

I weep for this nation!!

Peter Obi, on Channels TV. Hear him

He debated a professor of economics in University Of Abuja and laid out solid points which earned him admiration and praises all over Nigerian media space.

Here are 10 quotes from his debate on channels.

1. “ If a man has not created wealth. He cannot manage wealth “

2. “Unemployment is worsening. In 2017 our unemployment ratio moved from 14.8% to 18.8% this year. This means that more people have lost their jobs. We can’t survive like this “

3 “You are borrowing money and the issue it was supposed to affect is not coming down. Poverty is increasing , children out of school moved from 10 million to 12 million. “

4. “ I remember Ngozi Okonjo Iweala crying everyday. Begging Us to save this monies for the rainy day. All the Governors disagreed. They said let us share it. Now we are borrowing to feed.”

5 “ All I Know is that Governance has nothing to do with age. Today the Youngest Governor in Nigeria is an Unmitigated disaster”

6. “ In a State in the North the number of children that sat for WAEC is 128. This state has about 5 million people. This is not acceptable “

7. “ I don’t have any single property in this country outside Onitsha. If you see any property outside Onitsha and they say it belongs to Mr Peter Obi. Burn it! “

8. “ When you are borrowing for consumption. It gets to a stage when you cannot control it”

9. “ Nigerians cannot aim for sky scrapers when we cannot maintain simple toilets “

10. “ I cannot pay 250,000 for one night in a hotel. I wouldn’t sleep that night. I will feel like I have been robbed. “
