donroxy: If Pidgin English(Nigerian English) is also developed too, the ''Written problem'' shall be gone cuz as @ now we don't have a Standard Format of writing Pidgin English::..
Exactly! This is exactly y it's sometimes difficult reading and writing it.

donroxy: Na so ITK dey kill pesin wey be like U ........

Conduct a Research on ''Pidgin English in Nigeria'' and come back here to tell us your ''findings''

Average Nigerian prefers Pidgin english. When i say Average,I mean, pure water seller,Me suya, pepper seller,Okrika infact some in civil service(witnessed it).........

English language unified us linguistically but Pidgin English Unified us better!!!!

Kudos 2 supersport.....Abegi leave am, no toush am!!!!
I disagree with u. Pidgin english is easier among the aforementioned class of people when spoken or heard. It's quite difficult to comprehend written texts of pidgin english than pure english..

In other words, pidgin is more understandable orally/vocally than pure english while pure english is more understandable writing it/reading it than pidgin. Won't u agree?

orgasticdance: I agree. speaking pidgin has a curve. And reading it has an even steeeper curve. If this was done to attract readers who can not read english, then it is unnecessary. Reading pidgin requires a skill inaccessible to people who cannot read english.
Exactly!
No my point is people and their actions will happen regardless of dress. If a woman has a short skirt on she is not saying 'come get me' She is just wearing a short skirt. I think maybe men should take some responsibility and realise dressing a certain way is by no means an invitation.

I wouldn't wear that dress. I don't wear revealing clothes. Reason being I don't want to give the wrong impression. PURELY because of men and their opinions on women who dress too sexy.
Yeah I get u.. I ain't against that cuz of the men, buh for the sake of a woman's modesty, dignity, and integrity while also considering good moral standards which is a negation to Contra bonos more...

A virtuous woman cannot be dressed in such a manner. If u must reveal any part of ur body, it should be within the confinement of ur home. usermane: Hehehe LOL...u really sacrificed 4 her,no wonder she wz ur gf 4 a while.
A friend of mine did a similar thing,he toasted a girl 4 over a month, but every blessed day she kept on refusing him. He was devastated yet blinded by love & refused to give up. In one seemingly final but mad attempt to finally win her, he trekked in a heavy downpour all d way to her house, knelt down in d rain at her door step, fully drenched and kept calling her till she let him in.
huh Mtcheeww.. That guy no knw him problem. What balderdash!
Romance › Re: Relationships Hardly Last Nowadays: Why by dmcdad: 9:16am On Dec 14, 2012
First and foremost, a lot of people don't know what they want, and since they don't know what they really want from a relationship, anything will satisfy them. It's like the saying "if u don't knw where u are going, any road will take u there". People need to spell out what they need out of a relationship, try to cling to someone they perceive will help them achieve their relationship goals, and with a collective effort, work towards achieving their aim.

Secondly, people need to study each other hook, line and sinker to know each other's strengths and shortcomings. Knowing ur partner's virtues and vices gives u a better understanding (which a lot of relationshipz lack today) of the person, and as such helpz in relating with one another without much misunderstanding (which often leads to break-ups if not handled properly).

It's so disheartening that people prioritize secondary attributes over the primary and salient ones.. Sex, beauty, money, etcetera can not determine the longevity of a true relationship.. Unless we take cognizance of the aforementioned things I highlighted at the formal part of this post, coupled with some other spices (character, honesty, the fear of God, etc), our relationshipz will seldom stand the test of time...
