After changing engine and gear by mechanic ml 350 164 refuse to start it only detonate with fire coming out of exhaust with the shooting sound or coming out of throttle mouth.
The mechanic is saying is so sure of the timing setting, as electrical guy I v tested the ECU and is very ok.
Please big boss in the house what could the cause of this shooting sound.

My mechanics don't bill me big cos me I'm a free thinker. If I want to change linkage,or any lil fault I discovered or shocks etc. I give am 3k. Sometimes 4k dash. Sometimes 1500. And them no born am well to ask me cos I don't usually ask I pay with my brain aside that I do dash clothes to him and sometime iya olounje oys sell 4am ambala 300,pomo 200,shaki 100,etc. Buy am 1 bottle water and 1 cold coke. Why he no go pray for me.i hate cheating anyone. I no dey do big boy for mechanic side o. All those ones wey dey write 3k per tyre,5k per this. I bought a Nigerian used sienna 2000 recently and observed that the fuel consumption is beyond normal and emit black smoke.

An auto Electrician advised me to change the Air Flow Meter which I did. The black smoke, however, reduced only when the engine is not accelerated. Once it is accelerated the black smoke emit and the fuel consumption is excessive.
I contacted another auto Electrician who has asked me to replace the brain box (He said another car model brain box will be “worked” on it to fix the problem).

Please your advice will be appreciated.

Hello room I have a little problem with my car I’ll need some advice and little explanation from here
I drove the car all the way from akure to Lagos so while coming back along lagos/Benin expressway I ran into a pothole that I nearly lost control after that the car accelerator couldn’t move pass 40 and the rpm is above 2
Now Rewire has it diagnosed that the throttle mouth is faulty got it tested with another one and it still doesn’t work he’s asking me to get a new brain box
