Nobody is telling Tinubu anything. He did it in Lagos by using Agberos to tax poor market women and bus drivers to death. You guys praised him as generating IGR.

He is doing same at the center
Qadaffi2idiamin:
Whoever is telling the government of the day led by some group of very inhumane beings that subsidy is an adversary to the economy and indeed the people of the nation must be hanged on a stake.

Corruption and a very useless constitution has being the problem of the nation.

We have Natural Gas, we pay more to access it than those who buy for export from us and the corn god and his gangs think its normal?

Saying all politicians are corrupt is a lazy fallacy of generalization.

Obi is not corrupt. He is a man of integrity and thats why he has such a large genuine followers
helinues:
Have you seen me disputing Tinubu of not being corrupt?

If all politicians are corrupt, why are you supporting Obi too?
Politics › Re: Why Are You Supporting A Politician by DMerciful(m): 2:44pm On Apr 09, 2024
You a tinubu support said Tinubu and Obi are corrupt. It means you accept that Tinubu is corrupt.

I, as an Obi support know that Obi is not corrupt but Tinubu is supper corrupt.

If you've accepted that Tinubu is corrupt,
why are you supporting a criminal then?
helinues:
If all politicians are corrupt, then Obi is also included abi is he a mechanic?

Politics › Re: Why Are You Supporting A Politician by DMerciful(m): 2:36pm On Apr 09, 2024
His last statement is him accepting that Tinubu is corrupt. His problem is how to include Obi in that set. He knows Obi is different
helinues:
Your last statement is not something they are interested in

If you accept that the politicians you support are thieves, you don't have to look for company. Obi is different, a man of integrity
Khyrvxjzy:
supporting a politician should just be your constitutional right, nothing like messiah or emilokan

politician are all thieves, no one is a saint

it saddens my heart that some people are 18 years and have experience Nigeria and still support politician

Lies!
WizardOfNG:
Very few Igbo leaders are behind Obi to be honest. He is one of the most mediocre and underwhelming Igbo politician ever.

His appeal to Igbo is due to his uncompromising pro-Igbo bigotry like Nnamdi Kanu.

Otherwise he sucks as a leader at all levels.

Werent you in the country when results were being changed using TipEx?

Arent you hearing the confessions of Wikes boys? What about Lagos margins that was reduced? What about Plateau and Benue?

Can you explain, with figures, how Peter Obi won the election?

Give us the votes he scored state by state and show us how the result was manipulated.

Politics › Re: Sanwo-Olu Honors Dare Samuel Akinrodoye Who Swam Length Of 3rd Mainlanbridge by DMerciful(m): 2:22pm On Apr 09, 2024
Wonderful! After calling the military to kill the youths alongside Tinubu, you still glorify him for feeling remorse and attempting to show contrition?
StOla:
The problem with Sanwo-Olu is that he is too humble, accessible, and available for Nigerians who have been so mentally abused and dehumanized by the military and those in power over the years.

This commendable feature of Sanwo-Olu is a weakness when juxtaposed with the masses around him, hence why he becomes an easy target to be maligned and vilified with every opportunity.

No Governor in any state in any particular crisis situation has embraced the protesters the way Sanwo-Olu did during the End SARS protest, yet he was insulted while in their midst, but still took their complaints personally to Aso Rock to deliver to President Buhari for prompt action.

We all know that he declared a curfew to eventually end the protests and allow economic activities to return to the Alausa and Lekki axes of Lagos, but we all saw how the subsequent Police/Army assault on the stubborn protesters at the Lekki toll gate was put on his head and how the assets of the state were vandalized as a result with many misguided youth vowing then and attempting to get him sacked at his re-election in 2023.

Meanwhile, the politicians who do not care about anyone striking or protesting, or being killed extra-judicially in the states where they rule, have become the darling candidates to be supported.

Politics › Re: When Will Peter Obi Come Clean To His Followers That Election Was Free And Fair by DMerciful(m): 2:12pm On Apr 09, 2024
Obi won the election, he was rigged at the collation centers after shutting down IREV
emkz:
Peter Obi lost the election as follows:

(1) Core muslim-dominated states
(2) Conservative Yoruba states
(3) Liberal states who did not buy an ethnic agenda
(4) States where politicians had a stronghold and were not aligned with Obi.

Peter Obi won in states as follows:

(1) Core Igbo speaking states
(2) Soro-soke (woke) states warehousing the loudest social-media noisemakers, and
(3) States with a youthful population who saw themselves as the only path to leadership while undermining other huge voting blocks which later neutralized their numbers.
(4) States with a huge Christian population.

Why did Peter Obi lose in the list I highlighted above:
(1) Core muslim-dominated states
Peter Obi was simply not present. He did not campaign vigorously in the north as he did in Lagos. We told him here to campaign more in the north, but he didn't listen. He even picked a light-weight northern politician as a running mate who became a liability to the ticket. The only time that running mate spoke to a gathering of northern leaders, he attempted to blackmail them into supporting Peter Obi. That fell flat on the face. Then Kenneth Okonkwo openly spoke against the Muslim-Muslim ticket which made many Muslims interpret it as an attack on their religion. You saw how they voted eventually. It was expected.

(2) Conservative Yoruba states
Apart from Osun State, Tinubu won the remaining conservative Yoruba states. Seeing how Tinubu was mocked by the Obidients group and knowing they were denied the position in 1993, they were not likely to abandon their son to support an outsider. Again, we saw how the results worked out against Peter Obi. Anyone who understands the average rural Yoruba man and traditional man knows this. Infact, when PSquare insulted Fela, he helped Peter Obi lose more Yoruba votes. The attitude of insulting Yoruba elders who did not openly support Peter Obi like Professor Wole Soyinka ruined Obi's support in Yoruba enclave.

(3) Liberal states who did not buy an ethnic agenda
Peter Obi's campaign spoke more against Tinubu than spoke about what Peter Obi would do. States like Akwa Ibom who have had an age-old rivalry against Igbos would hardly trust someone like Peter Obi. We even hear of the refusal of Ikwerres to identify as Biafra. How would they have voted for Peter Obi? States like Benue are more politically calculating than religious. That is why Peter Obi lost those states.

(4) States where politicians had a stronghold and were not aligned with Obi.
Wike worked against the Obi ticket. George Akume did the same in Benue. Business leaders in the corporate world worked against the Obi ticket. This happened because Obi surrounded himself with inexperienced people who did not have the skills to appeal to people for votes. Supporting Peter Obi was akin to handing power to a mob. No one would ever do that.

Obi himself knew he lost the election. If he won the election, why didn't he tell us how many votes he got and where he got them from? Why didn't he tender the forms EC8A from the polling units where he got the results? Why was he blaming INEC for IREV? Why was he running around asking the courts to disqualify Tinubu over a non-existent Shettima's double nomination? Why were his misguided followers fixated on a drug case they cannot explain sensibly? Why was he fixated on Tinubu being disqualified instead of proving where and how he won?

Peter Obi and Atiku are dangerous men. When they lost because they split over 14 million votes, they were shopping for things to use to disqualify the winner. That was disingenuous and a proof as to why these people should not be allowed to lead.

Peter Obi lost. He knows it, the Obidients know it. But why burst their lie?
Politics › Re: When Will Peter Obi Come Clean To His Followers That Election Was Free And Fair by DMerciful(m):
Were you not in the country when IREV was shutdown and correction fluid(TipEx) was used to change results at the collation centers?

All major electoral observers including the European Union described the election in the worst possible terms in their reports.

That election where Nigerians were told not to vote in Lagos?

Thats by far the worst election in Nigeria
history if you consider the resources that went in
9jatriot:
Before the election, every sensible person knew that a person like Peter Obi would not be accepted in the core North. In fact, it is believed that he may have even affected Atiku's chances in 2019. Even he knew, that was why he tried to play the religious card by drawing the attention of the Christians to the Muslim Muslim Ticket of Tinubu, hoping that Atiku and Tinubu will divide the Northern votes, and calling it a religious war in the most infamous call to Oyedipo.

As expected, he came third. The only difference was that where many expected him to come a distant third, he was able to come a respectable third position.

Immediately after the election, he started shouting on every available forum, particularly to his followers that his mandate was stolen and that he could not wait to prove it.

For a man who was shouting that his mandate was stolen, it was shocking to find that he started whispering to the tribunal judges something that sounded like "I know I lost the election but I contested against a man who should not have been allowed to contest at all because I heard one rumor like that that he was asked to forfeit some money in drug-related activities, Not only that, since I won Abuja, I should just be made president, since Abuja people have 2 head."The court was like okay, we have heard but you have to prove that your mandate was stolen, he could not provide even one shred of evidence. Not even one.

So rather than prove that he won the election, he was saying disqualify the man that won the election, forget about the one that came second and just make me president because my followers made me president on Twitter.

Now since that time, we have now seen Peter Obi virtually visit all the Northern states, dragging bread with a small boy about to break his religious fast and commissioning water tanks in the North. This is a clear indication that he has now recognized that no mandate or manhood was stolen from him and is attempting to curry the favor of the North for either 2027, 2031, or even 2039.

The question is will he now have the courage to tell his mob that he has realized how mistaken he was and apologize?
Will he also have the courage to apologize to INEC and its chairman for orchestrating the assault on the integrity of the association on his person?

Why do you guys hate the Igbos?
benuejosh:
Hmm. The innocent blood Ojukwu spilled in the name of fighting for Biafra has made it so terrible for those in that land. Because the soil looks like it is compactible but the erosion that tears up that land all the time is terrible. The amount of rainfall in that region is far less compared to what is obtainable in the South-South and South-West regions of the country yet in these regions you won't find erosion washing away their soil to an unknown destination. South East need to come together and find lasting solution to this.
