Let me tell you the long game being played by Tinubu and his cohorts.

He focuses on Peter Obi so much that people gravitate towards Peter, who can easily be rigged out. That is why they tell you that elections ARE NOT won on social media.

They reference Atiku as corrupt and when such is done, they try to limit his influence, but they know ATIKU is the real threat.

A combination of Atiku/Peter Obi will be TOO BIG TO RIG...

What is Atiku's route to presidency outside Obi?

When Tinubu and Buhari could not form an alliance in 2011 because Tinubu was interested in presidency as well as Buhari, the PDP defeated both CPC and ACN. That taught them a lesson that one had to step-down for the other.

Fast-forward to 2014, they formed APC with Tinubu remaining patient while supporting Buhari. Tinubu's patience did not mean he was not interested in becoming president. He had to wait and in his place, supported an neophyte in the person of Osinbajo.The rest is now history.

Following from above, Peter Obi should support Atiku to do one term as President. With that arrangement APC will be defeated by 12.00 non.
Then in 2031, he can run as president for 8 years.
He can even beat his chest to say "Emolikan" in Igbo. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Obi waiting till 2031, if not Obi has no other route to presidency.

If Obi runs alone in LP or other party, APC will win again. Then come 2031, power will go back to the North. That means waiting till 2039, who knows who will be alive by then and infact Obi woukd have been 79 or 80 self, and too old to have a say.

My opinion ... nobody pays me to express it. However it is the bitter ruth that may be too bitter a pill for some people to swallow.

Atiku was invited to join the coalition, same as Obi. While Atiku may be lobbying politicians, Obi is getting the masses.

It has gotten to a point that if Obi leaves the coalition, it will surely die.

I can assure you that Obi will not go into that primary instead he'll use a different platform.

Obi's supporters do not reside in any one political party but cut across all party.

My question to you is that why do you guys prefer Atiku to face Tinubu if you say Atiku is stronger?

That chairman must be a joker. Monday Okpebolo got about 280k+ votes during his gubernatorial election. Obi got 350k+ votes in Edo state so invariably, more people voted for Obi than Okpebolo so he should advise himself!
