Politics › Re: What Happens If The Judiciary Decides To Keep Tinubu? by DMerciful(m): 8:58am On Jul 28, 2023
By the law enforcement agencies...the police or DSS or military. Once a new president is pronounced, he becomes commander in chief
PoliteActivist:
Removed by WHO?
Politics › Re: What Happens If The Judiciary Decides To Keep Tinubu? by DMerciful(m): 7:09am On Jul 28, 2023
He will be removed immediately. He has no power once the court says so
PoliteActivist:
He can actually rule for more than 8 years - as he did in Lagos. He is still rulling in Lagos till date!
As for those judgments becoming part of our law, you forget you're in Nigeria. The very next day same court may rule the opposite in a similar case!

Politics › Re: Obi's Argument Is Like That Of An Electoral Observer by DMerciful(m): 1:17pm On Jul 25, 2023
Obi, Obi, Obi...is he the only one that petitioned? Why are you guys obsessed with Obi?
Fsboperator2:
He isn't claiming he won.

Rather like a sore loser that he is, his argument is for the elections to be annulled because to him, INEC and Tinubu did not meet his requirements .

Nowhere in his argument is he claiming he won the elections.

Obi is just another Nzeribe
Politics › Re: Senate To Announce President Tinubu's Ministerial List On Wednesday by DMerciful(m): 1:01pm On Jul 25, 2023
These petitions has made Lamidi Amoda Sangodele to hit the ground sinking.

His conscience is heavy because he knows he did not win but came third actually

Simple question who was the person/people that removed the referendum clause from the first constitution?
Politics › Re: £101.5m: Why Outrageous Order Against Ibori Cannot Stand by DMerciful(m): 9:47pm On Jul 24, 2023
What is your benefit? What is in it for you?

Where did he get the money from?
hisexcellency34:
because Ibori is our best governor in Delta and we believe they are persecuting him
Politics › Re: Why SW Is Not Seceding From Nigeria For Now by DMerciful(m): 9:47pm On Jul 24, 2023
You said the referendum clause was removed at independence which is 1960 yet referendum was used to create midwest state in 1963. You cannot be contracting yourself
confusedlady:
Why doesn't it make sense?
Someone or somebody removed the referendum clause from the constitution. Who was this person/ people?
This referendum was used to take parts of Adamawa out of Nigeria and merged with Cameroon.
This same referendum was used to create mid Western state.
This is why history needs to be taught in schools because people with agendas are lying to our people.

But can he appeal the judgment?
Politics › Re: Why SW Is Not Seceding From Nigeria For Now by DMerciful(m): 6:56pm On Jul 24, 2023
The question does not make sense. We no longer use that constitution for ages. Besides,
the referendum to create midwest state happened in 1063 well after independence
confusedlady:
Why not answer the question?
If you don't know the answer, allow someone who does answer!
Politics › Re: Why SW Is Not Seceding From Nigeria For Now by DMerciful(m): 1:29pm On Jul 24, 2023
Lets assume it wasn't removed, are you still using that constitution today?
confusedlady:
The question we should ask ourselves is: WHO REMOVED THE REFERENDUM CLAUSE FROM THE NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION BECAUSE THAT CLAUSE WAS DEFINITELY RIGHT THERE IN THE CONSTITUTION AT INDEPENDENCE!
Politics › Re: Why SW Is Not Seceding From Nigeria For Now by DMerciful(m): 1:28pm On Jul 24, 2023

Arrested for what?
helinues:
Yes, Peter Obi can be arrested and nothing, I repeat nothing will happen afterwards. He can't continue to be making reckless statements threatening the unity of the country just because he loss as election.

If he can't advise his supporters to stop wishing evil for the country, he can be tamed in order to silence his supporters.

The court case is a means for lawyers to get some job and get busy
Politics › Re: APC To Atiku Abubakar - No Plot To Undermine Judiciary by DMerciful(m): 11:12pm On Jul 23, 2023
Your argument is neither here nor there. An election that was rigged, will it be 100% rigged?
LabourPartyNG:
Sorry, if you thought I was one of those that are easy to misdirect here on Nairaland...

Obi stated that he won the election and not Tinubu...

Now, how can you win without accepting the outcome of certain results which here we have 12 states that were won by Obi...

Plateau, Lagos, FCT, Anambra, etc...

Sir...I know about Obi's petition...it is open source
Politics › Re: APC To Atiku Abubakar - No Plot To Undermine Judiciary by DMerciful(m): 5:39pm On Jul 23, 2023
You mentioned Lagos for LP and Osun for PDP but wanna shift the goal post.

Obi rejected Imo result even though he won according to INEC. Obi rejected Plateau result even though he won. Like i said, you know nothing about Obi's petition
LabourPartyNG:
How about the 11 other states he won including Abuja?

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Had No Documented Manifesto In 2023 Election by DMerciful(m): 2:39pm On Jul 23, 2023
We have gone beyond campaign, election,
results declaration, petitioning, litigation and now awaiting the judgment.

Why are you taking us back? All eyes is on the judiciary, not manifesto
helinues:
Kindly create a thread for that without derailing this.

How can a presidential candidate serious of winning the election had no documented manifesto, that only shows how unserious Obi had been from the onset
Politics › Re: APC To Atiku Abubakar - No Plot To Undermine Judiciary by DMerciful(m): 2:23pm On Jul 23, 2023
Obi rejected the Lagos result, LP did not even sign the result sheet. You know nothing about Obi's petition
LabourPartyNG:
I just want to know how it is easy for Peter obi to claim he won the election if he won in Lagos and PDP won in Osun state, in spite of the fact that the IREV did not transmit the results in both states but where Asiwaju won in other states the results should be cancelled because IREV did not transmit the results....

I will so much like to know...
Politics › Re: Tinubu Has Lost Control Of The Economy Very Early by DMerciful(m): 10:09pm On Jul 22, 2023

TheBillyonaire:
I am worst than you can even imagine. I am a very Obidient Jagabandit. I want to repeat again, the inflationery trend is global and is a function of the Universe itself. Energy cost is skyrocketing as a function of the universal expansivity.

If you find yourself gettting poor, skill up and be prepared for what is to come next. Tinubu is not the cause of the problems, not even Obi can solve these issues without this teething phase.

If you are poorer now and can not afford your lifestyle, you better move back to the farms and live in nature, because AI powered Robots are coming and if you can not survive, you will finally have an opportunity to proceed to your corner of paradise.

This is not a curse, it is not a prophesy, it is not a prediction, it is the way things will be. Again, stop blaming every President in power, they are doing their best.

Go and find a way to survive or run abroad and become a slave for hard money.
Education › Re: A Warning To Igbo University Students, Don’t Join any Protest by DMerciful(m): 10:02pm On Jul 22, 2023
Well thought. So much wisdom and foresight
AlexBells:
Dear Igbos, especially our University student don’t be part of any protest against Tinubu. Don’t pay attention to whatever suffering the masses are going through, they could manipulate you thorough your good heart to protest or even do the unthinkable, every Igbo must remember Kaduna Nzeogwu, it is not anybody’s duty to free anyone from suffering, if at all, it should be the duty of those voted for yet they the ones bringing the most pains.

Aside from that, we still have a case in court, I know tuition increase is hard on everybody, but please keep yourself safe in your school or go home for the time being, it is not going to be be easy but we are not going to be manipulated, we should rather work harder instead and overcome. Anybody joining any form of protest against this regime is entirely on your own especially if you are Igbo.

I believe that all that is happening currently is right, if opportunities can be created, so far as Peter Obi case remains in court and Tinubu is our President for the time being, I know it is hurtful but those especially that voted for Tinubu, if you can’t afford tuition, please kindly dropout instead of endangering the fragile country and yourself. As we are likely to hit the unbearable stage of pain and suffering soon if something urgent is not done, I hope everyone hang on.

You think Obi has time for clowns
Politics › Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by DMerciful(m): 9:52pm On Jul 22, 2023
Lies from the pit of hell
helinues:
Bro, the results was even transmitted to the Inec servers in real time. INEC waited for physical results, compare it with the one transmitted in their servers before displaying in Irev portal

The lame argument of LP is Irev live results transmission as if there is any part in our electoral law which make Irev mandatory..
Politics › Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by DMerciful(m): 9:45pm On Jul 22, 2023
You're not really wise. You think Abuja is inhabited only by Northerners? 25% FCT is a condition, not the condition
Pauladex:
Funny people, if 25% in FCT is determinants of who becomes President, it like nailing their coffin because north will make sure no southerners ever get 25% in FCT till the end of ages. Either today or tomorrow Aso rock is getting far from children of anger and hatred.

Of the 3zones mentioned above , the SE is yet to inherit it's slot or shot at the presidency .

During the just concluded general election , Well meaning Nigerians called on Tinubu to step down for Peter obi , but he refused .

Atiku was prepared to relinquish the pdp presidential candidate slot to obi , but The Rascal Mr N. Wike was not having it.

But all this can be corrected with a wave of the hand and a show of benevolence from the president .

To garner the crucial support of the igbo (which he so desperately needs), ITS ADVICED HE ENTERS A PACT WITH THE SE CORE ELDERS ,PROMISING TO RELINQUISH POWER TO A TECHNOCRAT OF IGBO EXTRACTION IN 2027, .

This will douse the pressure around his mandate and bring him the much needed support of the southeastern region .
