It is not. National politics has been running federal character and quota system for balance. In justifying what is against precedence, you brought states into national politics. You guys know what you're doing but when this country finally scatter, it will be on you guys! helinues: That's goal shifting |

You cant compare that to national of 50% besides is there precedence in Edo state of Christian-Muslim ticket before now or you wanna push a lame argument? helinues: Are Muslim in Edo state not more than 10%? Why is the governor and deputy still be Christian Christian? |

So you would select vp from 100 out of a population of 1 million? MetaPhysical: Diversity does not follow percentage The concept is for representation.
In a town population of 1million where only 100 people are Christians, you respect their mode of worship and not hinder their religious rituals. When passing laws you remain sensitive to how it may impact the 100 people that are not in majority. |

If Muslims are less than 10%, you'll chose them for diversity? MetaPhysical: If your zone is a blanket Christian/Christian or Muslim/Muslim, shut up! You have not respected diversity locally where it matters most, and have no earned authority to demand for it at where it matters less at national level. |

We know Christians, they tend to leave things to God. But we will make sure we use our God given strength to wake the docile ones and let them see how this is totally unacceptable. Be truthful, will Muslims accept Christian-Christian ticket? ElSudani: You know Obi cannot defeat the ticket this is why you are all crying. In politics if your opponent is making a mistake you cheer them on, you don't cry over it. |

Do you think Muslims would accept Christian-Christian ticket? oghalebros: They just create unnecessary tension everywhere.... My pastor who is saying Muslim Muslim ticket won't work in Nigeria went to Dubai two weeks ago for vacation.. I asked myself, is Dubai a Muslim nation or Christian nation. What we need to who can bring the necessary development we need. |

You gain dignity and respect. You gain inclusiveness, equality and equity. When Esau was selling his birthright, he thought at the time it doesn't matter. Thats what you're doing. If it doesn't matter, why did the core North say Tinubu must pick a muslim else they'll not vote for him? yemex04: What did christians enjoy when OBJ and GEJ were in power? Or did Muslims enjoy some certain benefits when Yard Adua was in power? Or have they been enjoying anything under Buhari?
I am Christian and I wasn't paid specially or enjoyed special life when we had christians as Presidents.
Nigerians need to outgrow this issue of religion but focus on development..I wonder why no one has been talking of being fair to the traditional religion adhrents.
The reason APC is flying Muslim-Muslim ticket is the same reason PDP is fielding a Northern Fulani after 8 years of Buhari who is also a Northern-Fulani.
Both parties want to win election. Simple! |

Bishop Matthew Kukah is not your average regular Nigerian pastor, he is very educated
Many times he had appeared on TV discussing with Muslim clerics on Religious matter, he even feeds many poor Northern Muslim during Ramadan

Shutup! We have far more percentage of Christians in the North than the negligible percentage of Muslims in the East Bar1941: Asking Tinubu to choose a northern Christian is like asking a governorship candidate from the southeast states to choose a Muslim as running mate. Can anyone mention one Christian political heavyweight that can earn Tinubu victory in the northern states of the country? Election is won by numbers and not by sentiments and by the way, this is one of the people that stood by Tinubu when the going was tough.
It's unfortunate where ethnic and religious bigotry had taken us, we have tried Christian-Muslim, Muslim - Christian, Christian-Muslim, Muslim-Christian to no avail, LET'S TRY Muslim-Muslim, Christian-Christian and see if it can solve the problem the country is having. Obi can as well change his vice to a Christian because his online supporters seems more concerned about Tinubu's running mate than supporting Obi since the announcement of Shettima as Tinubu's running mate. |

You're docile and take pride in your docility oghalebros: This Christian Christian and Muslim Muslim thing should stop... What we need is development of the country. He did far more than that. The fact that you're supporting Tinubu shouldn't make you rewrite history Kagd10: Shielded? When he didn't even know who they were to begin with. I mean these group were already existing under Yaradua to begin with.
The only mistake he did was equating them with Niger Delta fighters because first, Niger Delta region are generating revenues for the country. Secondly, the Niger Delta fighters weren't killing people but their grievances were with the people exploiting their oil without giving much in return while spoiling their environment. |

All these defenses now will not fly. You're arguing against documented evidence wandyvirus: Where do you guys get these lies from? The president was informed and did nothing for three days. Instead they started a propaganda that the girls were never kidnapped but we're in govt house. That was a lie. It was until Tinubu took Shettina on a global media tour 5 days after that the world believed and the Nigerian Govt swung into action. Shettima was not told by anyone to move WAEC to anywhere. It is an election period I know but these lies won't get you anywhere. Besides the security apparatus is NOT in the hands of the Governor of ANY STATE in Nigeria. ONLY the president can order the police and military. Shettima inaugurated the civilian fighters against BH. Hunters and vigilantes were conscripted for protecting the people before ISWAP and the militia from Libya joined forces with BH. |

All this your defense of Shettima, the bokoharam sponsor will not work. Tinubu has got it coming! Adding more baggages to his already battered image ElSudani: Nonsense, boko haram are driven by fanatism, hate and intolerance, the same emotions that are driving most of you who are opposed to this ticket. You are not better than the boko haram yourself. |
