You're supporting Tinubu based on tribalism but we've moved beyond that. Tinubu will never be president Kagd10: See wailing and cries..
All Tinubu's legacies I listed are something you can't debunk. On the other hand, You can't list Peter Obi's achievement..
I repeat, you can't impose your monumental failure of Peter Obi on us. Peter Obi can only rule you in your village. |

When election comes, you'd realise that not everyone can be deceived. Tinubu during his tenure from 199-2007 wasn't that exceptional rather he has cornered a lot of Lagos commonwealth and the impoverished people are defending him! Kagd10: List the achievement that are Ambode or Fashola's.. You dey ment.
It was Bola Tinubu who brought in the private investor as partnership after he initiated and birthed the ideas.

Politics › Re: Shettima: Nigeria is Too Big For Peter Obi To Handle by DMerciful(m): 4:13pm On Jul 15, 2022 |
Even Ambode achievements, Fasola own, Fg own, private investors all arrogated to Agbado. Nonsense! Kagd10: Exactly.
It's stupidity to expect anything tangible from Peter Obi who did nothing in Anambra.
Ask his supporters to list his achievement, they will keep mute. They can't list his achievement. What significant change has Peter Obi given you while he was Anambra governor? Absolute nothing.
Rather he was investing his state funds into his family business.
Some asked me to list Tinubu's legacy below.
These are Tinubu's legacies:
Tinubu legacies: 1. LASTMA. 2. Lekki trade zone. 3. LASU teaching hospital & clinical school. 4. Health care centers. 5. Eko Atlantic city. 6. Econet. 7. Lekki seaport. 8. 4 standard millennium schools. 9. Housing estates. 10. BRT. 11. Several policies which helped in high increase of Lagos revenues. 12. Some roads etc
Now list Peter Obi's legacies.
I want everyone to watch and see if these Ipob urchins would reply. They always keep mute when asked to list Peter Obi's achievement. Peter Obi has got absolute nothing. |

You're beginning to worship Tinubu, this is idolatry Aderewah: Here are some of the positive things Tinubu has done for Yorubas outside of his governorship in Lagos:
Political
1. His political merger made a yoruba man, Osinbajo a Vice President of Nigeria.
2. His political merger made a yoruba man, Fashola the only minister in the hsitory of Nigeria with three Portfolio.
Infrastructure
1. His political merger with Buhari berthed the Lagos Ibadan Expressway.
2. His political merger with Buhari berthed the Lagos Ibadan Railway.
3. His political merger made possible the approval of the Lekki Deep Sea Port.
4. His political merger made possible the approval of the Lagos Metro.
5. His political merger made possible the approval of the Badagry Deep Sea Port.

2. He created RRS, the first state owned police division in NIgeria. |

The Christian community should demand for :- 1. Christian Senate President 2. House of Reps. Speaker. 3. Chief of Army Staff or Chairman Joint chief of Staff. 4. I.G of Police. 5. Lagos is a Nigerian territory and all Nigerians have equal access to everywhere in Nigeria even though the Igbos and the Fulanis take advantage mostly of this fact. You have no more right in Lagos than any other Nigerian. If i may asked, do you live in Lagos or this eulogizing of Lagos you're doing is based on hearsay? Lagos while I was there for 5yrs was hellish! If you say Lagos is the 6th largest economy in Africa and you're comparing to states that are the 100th economy instead of her contemporaries like Cape Town, Johannesburg, Caira, Addis Ababa, Kigali then you've admitted Lagos has retrogressed TrackerXL: Lagos as the best in everything you listed among all Nigeria state so what is your point again or isn't that why your kinsmen can't stop flocking into the city to scavenge a living you lot were unable to from your home state. |
Politics › Re: Who Will Run A Country Better Atiku/tinubu/obi?....opinons Needed. by DMerciful(m): 12:25am On Jul 15, 2022 |
Nah...the potential is there due to fg investment in Lagos. Abuja was created in 1991 and I'm sure her economy would have passed many states due to fg. There is no major investment or infrastructure of Tinubu in Lagos to account for the rise in revenue but rather he expanded the tax net which should have been. Mention one major infrastructure Tinubu built in Lagos during his Tenure. Of all the many bridges in Lagos, mention the one Tinubu built. I'm waiting Ttalk: Stop being clever by half. At what point did economy of Lagos became sixth in the Africa? Was is not during same period when Tinubu governed.?
Can you give us economic status of Anambra among Nigeria states during Peter Obi's tenure?
The excuse you give to your mediocre politician would remain your undoing until all your people vacate Igboland that is daily becoming inhabitable. |
Politics › Re: Who Will Run A Country Better Atiku/tinubu/obi?....opinons Needed. by DMerciful(m): 11:26pm On Jul 14, 2022 |
Lagos is so by virtue of being Nigerian capital for 77yrs. If not, the development would have been replicated in other SW states. It's also a shame to compare Lagos to other states esp when her economy is the 6th largest in Africa! Compare to Cairo, Casablanca etc Lagos made Tinubu, not the other way round! Ttalk: Nobody is saying Lagos is not deficient in Infrastructures like any other states in Nigeria, but the point remain Lagos took the initiative to drive it's economy towards self sufficient, but other states do not see any reason for that hence the pressure of influx immigrants into the state.
Lagos was on the track of self sufficient which was backed up with policies that were outrightly rejected by Federal government in conjunction with PDP states government |

So Lagos has constant power? Lagos has too notch healthcare system? Lagos has decent transportation system? What is the average income of Lagosians in his 7bn economy?(57bn is not his govt) TrackerXL: Power: Tinubu’s government, in 2000, contracted AES to build an IPP that will generate 270MW of electricity to Lagos residents in order to exit the irrational power supply being provided by the FG. The 270MW is now part of our national grid. It is the first of it’s Kind. Tinubu electrification project covered over 100 communities. In his first term, 53 rural communities were targeted. The projects were completed in Egan, Atewolere, Ifesowapo, Aboru, Agbado Ayetoro, Akorede, Isheri Ikosi, Orile Aguntan, Rofo, Borokini, Omologbede, Araromi, Oke Agbo, Erekusu, Logberu, Okegelu and Ebute, Lekki. Others were Origanringan, Onigbolakowe, Oke odo Elemoro, Ipaja Isale odo, Agenuba, Ajelogo, Mutaku, Egansando, Ayanfe, topo and Ikola Agbenaje.
Decentralization: In order to bring governance closer to the people of Lagos state, Asiwaju created extra 36 LCDAs which led to the disagreement between Lagos and the OBJ led FG. They are still working till date. Nigeria needs someone who believes in this! First of it’s kind
Economy: With an IGR of just over 600million naira when he took over, different initiatives which included the reorganization of the LIRS led to an unprecedented IGR of over 7billion monthly after 8 years, the sustainability of which has brought same to 57bn in 2022.
Health: Decentralization of the Health Management Board led to the creation of LASAMBUS, an ambulance management scheme, Hospital Services Commission and Lagos State Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency. In addition, policies such as “Roll Back Malaria”, “Jigi Bola, Free Health Policy for children below 16 year and adults above 65 years are verifiable ones that stood him out then. The First of its Kind.
Infrastructure: Roads, Railway Roadmaps, Port Roadmaps, Housing Roadmaps. Hospital Roadmaps. Open Link below https://thenationonlineng.net/tinubu-the-power-of-lagos-blueprint/amp/

I knew Bubu would fail in 2014 hence i campaigned against him. If as a military ruler with absolute power, he failed, there's no way he would succeed in democracy with all its slow bureaucracies! People like you who do not research before voting but followed baba sope directions, knowing fully well they'd say anything to get to power, brought Nigeria to her knees. Since you were born, have you heard Bubu gave a lecture, built a school, established a company, developed himself educationally, has a foundation to his name? What made you believe somebody that has not improved himself since 1985, would improve Nigeria? Posterity would hold you guys responsible for your poor electoral choices Felimax: Quite unfortunate chief but I am seriously looking at the indexes. A lot was said about Buhari, the whole APC team where been referred to as the Progressives, with the like of Amaechi, Fashola and the host of others on board one will easily argue that the Buhari administration would be the best but ended up the worst. So I am very careful not to go with just sentiments. Yes, I know if given every deserving opportunity P.O should be able to do far better than what we have now but I am disturb politics does not work that way. Everybody cannot be swayed at the same time. Trust me, for now I am yet to completely give my total trust to Peter Obi. I spoke at length with some of my fellow comrades in Lagos and Benin and till now we are still not so convinced with the Labour Party among several other concerns but as time progresses we may tilt to where the pendulum desires. |

Tinubu's health is a dent.
Obi, should be better off but he will be using his first four years to be doing a lot of testing the waters and if care is not taking may equally be doing a lot of the blame game just like Buhari APC in the past 8 years.

Where is Obama from? Was he president of the greatest country on earth or not? olawalepopoola: The top three candidates for the exalted seat of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023: Tinubu (APC), Atiku (PDP) and Obi (LP) deserves our votes especially from the south. My justifications: 1. Tinubu/Shetima: As much as these candidates are presented to the public by the ruling party (APC), the Moslem/Moslem ticket destroys it. Although it is a Yoruba/Kanuri combo. 2. Atiku/Okowa: This combo is dangerous. Fulani at the hems of affairs is no. Fulanization of Nigeria cannot be supported. A Fulani is a Fulani no matter how educated they may be. 3. Obi/Datti: The choice of a Fulani of Mauritania origin as a Deputy to Obi is a negative sign that Obi may not be the right choice. A Fulani is a no for now in Nigeria. My question is: Are there no other credible candidates from other parties? Why these three? |
