Romance › Re: Counter Thread: 10 Reasons Why Nigerian Girls Suck At Relationships by dmexy33: 9:33am On Mar 12, 2016 |
lezz: 1) Nigerian women rank bottom last in the global desirability index!!!
2) They are the most unnatural in looks and physical appearance. Common, the hair isn't hers, neither are the nails or lashes. She spends half her time and 40% of her partners' resources in bleaching creams and personal accessories trying to be like a Caucasian woman.
3) She's_fucking expensive and naggy. She has to do her hair twice monthly, fixed her nails and toenails. She relishes eating out than preparing home-made meals.
4) She's less romantic and more dependent than her counterpart from other climes.
The typical Nigerian woman doesnt really know how to please a man in bed. She spends her entire time shopping for clothes she'll soon grow out of, because she eats more junk food in hangouts than she has the time to excercise away.
She is so impassive in bed like a drunken sponger, she actually gives you sex as an act of obligation. While her counterparts wants to take you balls deep.
5) When she marries you, she expects you to father her entire family along. A typical Nigerian girl won't see anything wrong in bringing 4 of her siblings to come live with you, but if you have just one of your sibling around, she will whine and scold and frustrate the life of your sibling.
6)An average nigerian girl loses her charms few years after she settles in the security of marriage. She doubles her sleep time and her weight balloons up , tommy sags, laps wrinkle and she floats around the house either with wrapper around her waist or an oversized, shapeless nightgown.
7) The average Nigerian university girl is a feminist-wana-be. And she doesnt even have the brain to grasp the concept of the word!!!
8} Let's be blunt, the hair of the average naija babe stink of stale sweat and dead cells!!! They don't even bother washing it. They cover it up with polythene when they bathe and it's almost air tight. That's why they wear perfumes and deodorants like corpse.
9) Only Nigerian babes ask for credit cards with which to call you. Where's the fun when you call me with my own money ?
10) Nigerian girls can never love your mother, yet they'll want you to mollycoddle their own mothers and be the Tarzan of their family.
These girls are not dependable and they have a knack for thinking they are the best thing to happen to mankind.
Can't even take them swimming, they need to go find what to cover their silly hair with. If the hair isn't wet and dripping , soaked to her skin like her swimming suit where the hell is the fun? 100% true, to add to that; the average Nigerian girl lacks the ability to think independently and engage in intellectual discuss, they are either too religious to a fault(some abandon their roles bcz of church activities, est.) or just plain dumb. |

Romance › Re: 10 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Date A Nigerian Guy Of Today by dmexy33: 1:28pm On Mar 11, 2016 |
Fabulocity: Disclaimer: This thread is not to insult anyone, it's just based in the few observations I've made and it doesn't also apply to every Nigerian guy. So take a moment to read before you release your venom(if this write up refers to you).
1) He is broke: The average Nigerian guy is Broke! Yes. It's either he has no job or he has a ridiculously low paying job. As a result of this, when their girlfriends make demands on them, they come on Nairaland to pour their anger and frustration over their inability to meet these demands. They tag them as hungry, money loving, gold digging sluts. And one way to know the jobless ones is that they spend a lot of time online on various social websites and it leaves one wondering when they actually work. The answer simply is, they have no jobs!
2) He is most probably a fůck boy : Most Nigerian dudes are fůck boys. You just meet a guy and you've barely talked for two days and he's already asking for nudes, like, Wth?? Or he's already trying to initiate a sex chat. That's how one of my friends got introduced to a guy online by a mutual friend. They had barely talked for a week and the goat was already asking her for X-rated Skype video Calls! Hian! You see them on social media, sending PMs,sliding into DMs, inboxing on Facebook to different girls hoping to get lucky with one of them. And from a lot of stories I've heard on NL, they want nothing but sex once they meet a hot girl. They strategise and plan all sorts of ways of luring a girl in to their homes on order to have their way with her. Guys, please stop this fůck boy behaviour of yours, don't try to get into a ladies panties without first trying to get into her heart.
3) He is polygamous in nature : "All Nigerian men Cheat! " This was implied proudly by one body builder who impregnated his ex girlfriend whilst still married to his celebrity wife. I can't count the number of times I've come across that statement both online and offline. I don't know if nigerian guys should be given a pat on the back for admitting their 'weakness' and saving lots of girls from heartache and high blood pressure from wondering if their boyfriends are faithful or not as they would already know there's another chick somewhere, or if they should be shot in the head for admitting such foolishness. And it amazes me that they always admit this with a tinge of pride. Well, it's up to you. It seems the spirit of our polygamous forefathers have not left the Nigerian men as they cannot cope with having just one woman in their life. Smh
4) Thinks he is God's gift to women : He thinks you're lucky to have him as there are several other girls that would kill to be in your place , therefore you should be grateful to God almighty for making you find such rare treasure like him . He thinks he is the black adonis fallen from heaven. He thinks you are highly fortunate to have someone like him and most of this time, they ain't worth shįt Girls, please find someone who would appreciate you, not someone that would depreciate your value
5) Poor Personal hygiene: Nigerian guys Stink! I don't know if they think it's manly to walk around looking unkempt and smelling nasty but please, that's an archaic way of thinking as we're in the 21st century. Nothing turns most ladies on more than a well groomed, nice smelling man. Most nigerian dudes have terrible body odour and bad breath. Please please and please deodorant or body spray is not that expensive. For those of you who actually take your bath, you should also think of deodorising as you tend to sweat a lot and bathing will not be enough to mask unwanted odours. You don't have to use expensive perfumes to smell good, no one is asking you to be a metrosexual, just practise simple hygiene and you're good to go. And please, it's not a crime to change your boxers and socks everyday instead of repeating them and creating horrific odours
6) Would most definitely cheat on you: Do I really need to talk about This? Number 3 has explained this.
7) Super inflated ego : All men tend to be egotistical, there's nothing wrong with that but when you have a super inflated ego, there's a problem. Yes, these group of men feel that we ladies should worship the ground they walk on and if that they leave us, that would be the end of our lives. They are very proud, arrogant and they tend to look down on ladies. They would never call you first, they believe you should be the one scrambling for their attention, you dare not argue or disagree with them If not your own had finished. In fact, it remains for you to start calling them 'sir'.
A big, fat liar: How do you know when a Nigerian guy is Lying? The answer is, when his lips are moving! Even the devil is flabbergasted at the way these men lie. They lie about everything and most especially when they are cheating on you. They can also deny for Africa, even when they are caught red handed. You see some very steamy and compromising text messages he sent to another girl and they swear to you it's their sister. Ndi okwu asi
9) Take you for granted: They tend to take their women for granted. They feel the average nigerian woman is a desperate gold digger looking for a man to ensnare into marriage. They don't know that you should be loved, respected, appreciated, treated like a queen that you are.. Instead, they disrespect, violate, abuse and demean their women. It's a pity indeed.
10) Very immature : Finally, they could be so immature! I always shake my head in disgust when I see grown ass men behaving like babies. What would make a grown ass man who has gone through formal education and the four walls of a university do immature things like releasing the nudes of an ex (again, fůck boy syndrome), beat up a woman, ask his babe to return everything he got her while they were dating after they break up. Like Seriously?? Just because they might have a penis and they grow beards doesn't mean they are mature individuals. They are just kids in adult clothing.
In conclusion, I did not do this to offend anyone oh, just for you guys to get a taste of your own medicine when you open your numerous female bashing threads and rain all sorts of profanities on nigerian girls. no one is perfect, even we ladies have our own imperfections. Note: feel free to insult the Op, get offended, spew profanities, have hypertension because of this post. You're all welcome I don't agree with the one concerning job and social media. that one is not always true. I have 3 jobs and I still manage to spend like 1-3 hours on social media daily. and the part about being broke, YES many are broke but there are also many who are rich but misuse their money. I personally need a woman to help me coordinate and motivate, and general help. |

A Chinook helicopter carrying 38 people , including 22 U.S. Navy SEALS which mostly consisted of SEAL Team Six members, crashed in Afghanistan, killing everyone on board. The helicopter was reported to have been shot down by Afghan insurgents while it was on its way to provide back-up to troops on the ground. It was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade in an incident that has been described as a “target of opportunity” for the Taliban. The shot itself was also described as “blind luck” since an RPG’s aim is highly inaccurate. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Chinook_shootdown_in_Afghanistan

Romance › Re: Lagos Guys Are Becoming Gold Diggers by dmexy33: 8:07pm On Mar 10, 2016 |
Jadekitana: I'm quite disappointed seeing the way guys in lagos behave these days! This thread is based on stories i'v heard from friends and my experience as well.
Recently a friend in access bank borrowed her boyfriend 800k to start a business but got the shocking news that her boyfriend of 3years has eloped to UK without a trace.
As a pretty tall lady I get to have a lot of these guys as "toasters" even though i'm not always interested but I always have one or 2 things to add to my smartness. These are the questions an average lagos guy ask these days:
1) where do you live? Island or mainland Once they hear lekki, oniru, ajah the next question is "do u live alone" if the answer is no, you would instantly see the disappointment but if it's yes, the next question is "when am I visiting, hope u cook well, is it a flat or self-con, I would sleep over o......... you can imagine!
2) where do you work? If they hear kpmg, gtb, acceSs, chevron etc instantly they become available for dating! They discharge any side chick to avoid complications as they wouldn't have to spend a dime on you.
If they hear: sorry i'm an applicant or a company that pays 40k e go be later for that babe
3) Do u have a car? Dude seriously? U wanna be driving my car? I buy fuel with my hard earned money while you park yours and you think i'm gonna release my keys to you to tour round lagos? Have a re-think.
4) what's your net worth? How much do you have in your account? How much do they pay you! Trust me they have other ways to check. I once dated a guy who called his cousin in my company to confirm how much I earn. Next thing he started complaining about low funds, how he needed to get a house bla bla bla. I kicked his ass to the curbs!
5) what do your parents do? Are they retired? Does your dad have companies? How many are you guys? Are u the first daughter(to know if u entitled to properties) how many cars do they have? Does your dad play gulf? Is he a member of polo club? no be only polo club na palmwine drinkers club e dey, rubbish!
Have you been out of the country before?? Yes dude i'v been to Somalia, that's abroad as well
Ladies who have no experience in relationship matters or those who are blinded by love tend to talk too much and become victims of these scammers. Next thing u hear is baby we must get married this year, I must settle down with you, this is my last bus stop, u are everything I want in a woman, meeeeen u'v got class babe, and the mumu would be blushing and putting his pics on BlackBerry and instagram with #mybooforages
Fast forward 3months later, u start hearing stories like I borrowed the ediot 300k he eloped, he took my 500k and when I asked he threatened to release my nude pictures etc
So these days it's all a game, the smart ones scale through! It not just ladies who do all that, guys have now adopted this new style and a lot get away with it. So y'all should not come here weeping and wailing about ladies, guys now have a degree in gold digging although some just enrolled in the university of gold diggers, others now have masters and phd. I won't say I am rich but I'm very very contented with the N1 that I have. the worse mistake u mk is taking life too seriously, u will end up being sad and alone like most women these days. by the time u will realize it might be too late and dunamis won't be able to save u. |

– Troops flush out insurgents in ground offensive backed by Mi-35 Helicopter gunships
The Nigerian Air Force Alpha Jets have pummeled Boko Haram positions at their camp at Iza, Borno state which made the terrorist scamper into the Sambisa forest.

The air attacks were followed by a ground offensive by troops of 121 Task Force Battalion who consolidated on the gains of the air strikes to flush out the remnants of the insurgents and destroyed their camps.
The Daily Post, citing a statement by Ayodele Famuyiwa, the air force spokesman, reports that the offensive was supported by the Mi-35 Helicopter gunships which provided close air support for the advancing troops.
Famuyiwa added that a Beechcraft aircraft also supported the operation with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
“The combined air and land operation against the Boko Haram sect was conducted during the early hours of yesterday – 8 March 2016.
“The fall of Iza and its liberation by own troops further attests to the recent gains recorded by the military in the combined efforts to rid the country of the menace posed by the religious sect ,” the statement added.
In recent times, Nigerian security forces gave recorded strings of victories against Boko Haram fighters. On Thursday, March 3, troops attacked the spiritual power base of the insurgents at the Alagarno forest, Borno state.
In another raid, soldiers on a clearance operations of the remnants of Boko Haram insurgents at Kumshe in Borno state made startling discoveries of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) making factory, rockets and high claibre ammunitions. Meanwhile, Geoffrey Onyeama, the minister of Foreign Affairs has clarified media reports quoting President Muhammadu Buhari as disclosing that Nigeria had joined the Islamic coalition against terror under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

TV/Movies › Re: The Review Of "House Of Cards" ,A Political Drama Series By Foreignvoice by dmexy33: 8:24pm On Mar 08, 2016 |
zaicon1: Review of The "House of Cards" Intriguing Political Drama Series
Oil prices are sky high. The president of the United States has committed murder with his own hands. The Democratic primary is a heated contest filled with lies and backstabbing. And the Kremlin is on the verge of being overthrown by a cadre of Russian liberal businessmen. Sound like a parallel universe? Sort of: It’s the beginning of Season Four of House of Cards.
Netflix’s binge-inducing political drama was released Friday and the latest installment picks up right at the moment where Season Three left off. President Frank Underwood, is on the 2016 campaign trail in his election bid to hold onto the seat of power he has coveted throughout the series. Underwood’s relationship with his wife, Claire, is strained(More or less like Bill Clinton relationship with Hilary during the Lewinsky saga)— their marriage and political partnership is hanging in the balance.
House of Cards continues to pull the thread of the Russia plot line that it spun last season, with a financially-strained Kremlin now seeking an International Monetary Fund bailout. Victor Petrov, the show’s Putin-esque surrogate, is combative and paranoid of Washington’s meddling in Moscow, much to the chagrin of Frank Underwood who is seeking to mend ties after the geopolitical fallout of Season Three.
As is becoming the norm with House of Cards, the show succeeds in ramping up the drama and taking its characters’ personal stories to new and unexpected places. But as with its second season’s China trade and politburo plotline, or the third season’s Russian intervention in the Jordan Valley, the show once again struggles to transform its soap opera formula into plausible foreign policy. But perhaps the more unforgivable sin is its cursory handling of an election cycle at a time when America is in the throes of its most dramatic and unexpected campaign in years.
The show actually is: A dark, well-produced soap opera, not a reflection of anything resembling realistic politics but intriguing and gives a mere insight of the politicking game.Last season, the show devoted a huge stretch of its early episodes to international events: Claire had a brief stint as America’s ambassador to the United Nations before being forced out by behind-the-scenes intrigue involving Russia’s president.
The show also touched on LGBT rights in Russia before moving on the Middle East, taking its soapy style to exploring a two-state solution with Israel and Palestine. The fourth season once again doesn’t shy away from global storylines; it returns to Russia, but this time focuses on palace intrigue in the Kremlin
In another development that is sure to have major repercussions in future episodes, Washington and Beijing conspire to divide control of Siberian oil fields, with little explanation as to why they would cooperate so closely.Luckily, the international events mostly loom ominously in the background and are a foil for drama in the United States that the show handles more eloquently. Skeletons in Underwood’s closet are brought out, Claire and Frank’s relationship is brought to its zenith, and ghosts from the show’s history return in full force after an Episode 4 twist. Sins are exposed, consequences are felt, and House of Cards does what it does best: it pits power-hungry characters against each other in an over-the-top slugfest.
Oddly, the campaign trail is relatively intrigue-free in the first half of the season. With House of Cards’ election cycle corresponding with the real-life primaries, the show had an opportunity to comment on the process in a meaningful way. In a time when pundits are currently dumbfounded by the motivations of American voters — from the surprising rise of non-traditional candidates like Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump — the show could have been truly relevant.Instead, it feels divorced from the dark comedy that is U.S. politics in 2016.
Few insights on the process, or the voters themselves, are offered as Season Four turns to old-fashioned politics: stump speeches, press conferences, and measured attacks by candidates. At other times, the campaign trail in House of Cards feels oddly dignified, with politicians choosing to hit each other in the shadows rather than slinging mud at one another.Lost opportunities or not, the show is still entertaining.
For us at foreignvoice Donald Trump needs to learn the diplomatic styles of Underwood and his cold view for the world.besides Frank as Claire all through the season, we wonder who Trump has.

Christianity Etc › Re: •Sun-day Worship, A Christianized Form Of Sun Worship Cult by dmexy33: 7:32pm On Mar 07, 2016 |
JESUSISTHEKING: This thread was compiled with the aim of exposing the truth and edifying God's people. It has no intention of nullifying other beliefs, cultures, traditions etc.
IS SUNDAY WORSHIP, A CHRISTIANISED FORM OF SUN-WORSHIP ?
ECCLESIASTES 1: 9," What has been is what will be, And what has been done is what will be done AND THERE'S NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN".
•THE ORIGIN OF SUNDAY WORSHIP
Now, Sunday was the day set aside in the Mithra (Roman) cult as its official day to ASSEMBLE together to WORSHIP its SUN-DEITY(god or divinity)->>Sol Invictus ("Unconquered Sun" who was the official sun god of the later Roman Empire and a patron of soldiers.
Now, this specific day, "SUNDAY" was chosen mainly to "WORSHIP" what?? ->> A SUN-DEITY which could be a form of a god or divine power. Do you think "SUNDAY" was just chosen randomly out of the seven days of the week?? NO!! It was chosen so to magnify the power of the SUN-god, that is why it is called "SUNDAY"->> a sacred day to worship divine power of the "SUN". •AFRICAN BACKGROUND OF SUN WORSHIP
The Lozi people (an ethnic group primarily of western Zambia, inhabiting the region of Barotseland. Lozi are also found in Namibia (Caprivi Strip), Angola and Botswana) believe that the "SUN" is inhabited by the sky god who is called Nyambi and the Moon is his wife. The Ancient Egyptian god of creation, Amun is also believed to reside inside the "SUN". This is to show you that there has been a belief of sun worship in the ancient days and yes it existed. Now what does the christian bible say about "WORSHIPING" the "SUN"?, let's read Ezekiel 8:16-17, "...And their faces toward the east, WORSHIPING the "SUN" towards the east. Then He said to me, "Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it too light a thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations that they commit here, that they should fill the land with violence and provoke me still further to anger?...." Now this scripture tells us exactly that God is surely infuriated by "SUN WORSHIP" and sees it as abomination. Now how much more about worshiping Him on "SUNDAY", a sacred day dedicated specially for the "SUN-DEITY"?
Some may argue saying "SUNDAY" is the 7th day on the calender, meaning the day of rest, well, have you ever heard of a JULIAN CALENDER Or GREGORIAN CALENDER? ¤The JULIAN CALENDER » a reform of the ROMAN CALENDER introduced by Julius Caesar in 46 BC (708 AUC). It took effect in 45 BC (709 AUC). It was the predominant calendar in most of Europe, and in European settlements in the Americas and elsewhere, until it was superseded by the GREGORIAN CALENDER.
¤The GREGORIAN CALENDER » also called the Western calendar and the CHRISTIAN calendar, is internationally the most widely accepted and used civil calendar. It has been the unofficial global standard for decades, adopted for pragmatic interests of international communication, transportation, and commercial integration, and recognized by international institutions such as the United Nations and the Universal Postal Union.
A gregorian calender which is a modern calender that we use, replaced the Julian calender but didn't omit much out of the julian calender. For instance, starting day of the week on Julian calender was monday as it still is on gregorian calender.
So the Calender we are using was introduced by the romans under Julius Ceasar, the very same people who appointed "SUNDAY" a day to Worship 'SUN-DEITY' eventhough they came up with a new one, GREGORIAN CALENDER-which is alleged to be a Christian Calender, then why didn't they change Sunday and put it rightfully under biblical commands to its place? Why did they leave it at that? Or has God anything to do with SUN Worship? Ask yourself...
So it is quiet evidential that the 7th day on the calender, which is 'SUNDAY' has got nothing to do with God's Rest, Sabbath. Infact, Sabbath day, a day on which Christians should gather up and WORSHIP God is NO WAYS 'SUNDAY'. Biblical scriptures proves that sunday is the first day of the week Not the 7th, UNLIKE YOUR GREGORIAN CALENDER which is meant for christians but whereas its main purpose is to deceive them. 1 Corinthians 16: 1 says " On the first day of the week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up,as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come"...Matt 28: 1 says," In the End of sabbath, as it began to dawn towards the first day of the week"... PLEASE OPEN YOUR MIND TOWARDS GOD's DAY OF REST( SABBATH) THROUGH THE ABOVE-HIGHLIGHTED SCRIPTURES- Which day is really Sabbath and Why does the Gregorian Calender indicates Sabbath as "SUNDAY" whereas Sunday is no day of rest but the first day of the Week? What could be the reason and purpose behind this switch?
Could it be that the Romans, or the modern day Christian Elites are Mocking God by not Considering SATURDAY as the real Sabbath but instead shifted its genuine essence to 'SUNDAY', the day initially chosen and dedicated to the gods of the 'SUN' by the Romans...?
Could this mean SUN WORSHIP is ALIVE and WELL and its widely adopted by all modern Christians by Honouring "SUNDAY" as SABBATH?
If So, all Christians who keep 'SUNDAY' as their SABBATH then they are all keeping SUN WORSHIP meaning they are honouring the divine powers of the SUN and they are also involved in 'SUN WORSHIP' be it indirectly or unconsciously so.
Please read Malachi 3: 7 ," From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from my statutes and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you , says the Lord of hosts ".
STAY BLESSED IN JESUS NAME Horus(sun god) and Jesus(son of god) #they were both born on the same day("december 25 gregorian on calender) #both had virgin mothers #they were both the light of the world #both child teachers in the temple at age 12 #jesus was tempted by satan and horus by seth, est. horus predates jesus. now to islam... the ancient persian moon god was called alilah mohamed came along and changed it to allah mohammed actually retained the pegan worship system of alilah worship only difference is the name change in most of the worship ceremonies like hajj, rammadan, est so essentially, islam is moon worship and christianity is sun worship what about judaism and witchcraft? dig that! |
Business › Re: Nigerian Naira Or Ghanaian Cedi Which Is Stronger? by dmexy33: 5:44pm On Mar 06, 2016 |
faithin9ja: So the Ghanaian economy is better or stronger than Japanese economy because it's 70 Yen to the Dollar and 2 Cedi to the dollar.
Didn't the Ghanaian government just remove 'zeroes' from the old Cedi which was something like 10,000 cedi to one dollar and create the new Cedi, why doesn't our CBN just remove the 'zero' from the N160 to $1 and declare a New Naira at N1.6 to one dollar?
Is it that easy? see i schooled in GH... AND PREVIOUSLY BEFORE THEY REMOVED ZEROS, 10,000 NAIRA=1,000,000GHC LOL... |

Timbuktu14: I disagree. Ever heard of MichaelAngelo? Does Leonardo Da Vinci ring a bell? How about El Greco? Edward Hooper?
These are artists/painters that died long long time ago and most of their works have been lost in antiquity BUT, the ones people lay their hands on are being auctioned at ridiculous prices at exhibition centres in Europe and America! A particular MichaelAngelo's painting was sold for $6million in 2010. The same painting was put up for sale in Berlin last month... Biddings began at €7million. The winner won the bid at €9.2million.
Is it really dead? I don't think so. i am not suppose to say this but i tink its important for u to know. the sale of antique artworks is one of the ways the super rich transfer illegal money without sanctions internationally. thats you can see one person buying like 10-20 different artworks in a month. anyways, we are talking abt recent times, 20-21st century. look at music too, do u still buy cd plates or cassettes wen u download mp3 for free? ever wondered y upcoming artists with talents never gt off the ground? think deeper! |

evegran: You're the one who lacks the ability to think independently, you retarded squirrel.
If Trump says Nigerians are fraudulent and dishonest. Would that brainless head of yours translate what he said to mean "all Nigerians are fraudulent and dishonest"?
Don't answer that, you lack the ability to think independently - I know your answer already. Squirrel! do some research on this to avoid demeaning yourself in future. |
