Duuzsz:I needed clarification on how this whole process work. I am completely new to it and have zero clue. Early last month I go a call from my mum that my Green card has been approved, she filed for it years ago. But currently I filling the DS 260 form. Can you explain the process, so I can avoid unnecessary errors. Secondly at what point would I need the police certificate? Thirdly, I am currently single. But a lady who just got married last year is asking if she could accompany Me as my spouse. I want to know the possible implication of this and if it would have any negative effect on me in future. Thanks in advance. |
Duuzsz:I asked because the lawyer said they only accept certificate from alagbon. |

Goodday. I was informed that my application for a US Green card has been approved. The application was filled by my mother over 10 years ago. It just got approved in March 2020. I would like to ask what are my options. I am currently working as a project manager here in Nigeria, A general contractor. I had my first and second degree in the Philippines(Electronics Engineering Graduate and MBA). I would like to ask, what is the best way to survive in the US? |

MiVida:You prayed for a good girl and now you have one, your complaining. How do one satisfy humans? |
westliverenterp:You don't need any document to be a sub-contractor. At most you should have a registered company. The major challenge would be getting jobs. |

Cut your losses and move on. 150k is not worth all the drama. |
I don't mean to be rude but you have to take the bull by the horn. I bet you submit the same CV for all the jobs you apply for, how would they invite you for an interview? You have to show them that your a potential asset and your first line of defence is your resume. So even if you have to lie on your resume just to get an opportunity to be interviewed, go ahead(provided you can defend it) Then what happens after you are invited for an interview? You have to study to be able to convince them that you are qualified for the job. Even if it means learning a new skill asap. Put some work and effort in your search for a job, you have to be willing to edit your resume over and over again. Edit your resume to suit the job description your applying for. Lastly start small. Start with a lower paying job and develop your self. With a low paying job you have a reason to leave your house everyday(less depression), you stand the chance of networking with people, you can use the office Wi-Fi to develop yourself and this would qualify you for a higher and better paying job. Stop giving excuses and go to work. Pardon my grammatical errors. |
