Family / Re: I Have Arrested My Wife by dobnina(f): 10:07am On Dec 07, 2022
co787:
My wife and daughter traveled to her village in August for 3weeks and they were supposed to be back before the school resumption but she changed her mind saying her mother was seriously ill that she has to extend her stay which was fine by me and when they returned back I noticed that she has lost so much weight which I asked her why she said it was due to the stress of caring for her sick mother which is normal she is her only daughter and oldest of 4 her younger ones are boys so they cannot take care of their mother better than her and here is the reason I got her arrested during her stay in the village her 14 years old brother raped my daughter this is one of the reason she overstayed in the village she didn't tell me anything about my daughter being raped she and her mother had decided to give her treatment and cover the idiot that repeatedly raped her and when she came bck she didn't say anything to me but she confided in her prophetess which in her turn has started spreading news until it came to my ears that my own daughter was raped and her own mother has kept quiet and I can imagine if it was a member of my family that did the abominable acts the whole world would have heard it and she would have done everything in her power to put in prison but because it is her own brother she has decided to keep quiet and not knowing the world is small and not secret is hidden forever I took my daughter to the hospital the result has confirmed she was tampered i was devasted she has been the best wife to me and she has helped me and my sisters to reconciled in the past but what she has done to me it is unforgivable and I have arrested her and when I bail her I will divorce her and take custody of my daughter I don't know if I need advice or not but your input and suggestion are welcome I will be reading all your comments
Pls make sure you also arrest her brother and deal with him very well.

Betboss:
Access bank no longer accepts payoneer inflow. Same with Wise.com, they stopped sending inflows to any Nigerian bank till further notice.

I just made a withdrawal from payoneer, its been a week now and I haven't seen my money. Access said I should contact payoneer to refund me.

So what's the next option?

How do you intend to withdraw your payoneer funds and still get the best bargain.

I checked grey and noticed their exchange rate is 710 whereas black market is 730. I'm not ready to loss even a kobo especially in this tight economy.

Someone said something about sending to crypto.com, use it to buy BTC, then withdraw to binance and exchange via pair to pair at black market rate. I can't find that thread to follow it up correctly.

Remote workers in the house, how do you intend to withdraw from Payoneer and Wise?
I use Geegpay and it's the best.
They give black market rate.

I'm always biased when it comes to gender. I favor men more, but I do help women too.

Since I'm sending to a man, let me equalize it by sending to you too. But some of you ladies are always shy taking a card gift openly because you feel men will use it against you later and call you names. With this, the female pride/ego kicks in and you reject the gift.

Family / Re: What Traditional Medicines Did You Use To Help With Natural Birth ? by dobnina(f): 4:49am On Dec 01, 2022
Boliboli760:

Thank you so so much, God bless you. These are the types of stories I wanted women to share. As I mentioned in my post I Believe in balance. I believe strongly we need both traditional and medical for birth and many other ailments in this world. And sadly lack of it, is making people have unnecessary MAJOR surgery or spending their last kobo/borrow money for medical solutions.

Many women abroad are now pushing homebirths and discovering herbal medicines from other countries to help ease labour. Our doula's (birth assistants) are recommending herbal medicine from other part of the world for us to buy cos that is what they know.Me that I am from Africa (Nigeria) will still now source Herbal from Brazil or Mexico because they are the only ones available in the online market. I feel that is not right, hence why I came on here. Most people I called in naija are forming educated (oyinbo brainwashed) mentally for me.

Oyinbo Don show me pepper for hospital ....

Thank you once again.

I understand you perfectly. The thing is that most people no longer do traditional. They are all forming woke.
It's sad that we have allowed the westerners to make us forget our roots.

Thank you, I will start this 2 months to delivery. A cup of ewedu blended daily should do right? Did you religiously drink it every day?

Please if you can help me ask grandma what someone can use to induce(bring on) labour after 40 weeks . I always go over up to 42 weeks which causes me to give in to medical intervention.
Grandma is no more.
I don't drink it everyday.
Once in a week is okay.

Forgot to add, the purpose of drinking Ewedu leaf is to ease child birth. To make delivery easier.

Boliboli760:
I am Yoruba and live abroad. Not my first baby but want to do things differently, I have always had my water broken to start labour and it always end with CS due to being over 40 weeks.

So I need help from people with traditional experience using well tested herbal remedy. Not fetish medicine , HERBAL medicine ewe ati egbo.

PS; NO MEDICAL ADVICE PLEASE, THIS IS FOR TRADITIONAL REMEDY.
Op, most people that do purely traditional are in the village.
Most educated folks combine both traditional and modern just in case.
Let me tell you my story.
When I was pregnant, I had low PCV, one expensive drug was prescribed, I used it but it didn't work so I had to call Grandma.
She told me to get one leaf (ewe ogbon; I don't know the english name), wash it to get the juice and drink with peak milk first thing in the morning.
I did as instructed and it worked. The next time I went to check my PCV, it increased greatly.
I was still going to the hospital and taking normal modern medicine.
When it was time for baby to turn, he didn't turn. So I was told I will do CS.
I called grandma again and she sent some herbs through a driver. I took the herbs and baby turned.
Doctor asked me what I used, I just told him prayers worked.
2 months to delivery, grandma instructed me to start blending Ewedu leaf(I don't know the english name) and drink without cooking.
I was doing it consistently.
In my family, we have history of newborns having jaundice at birth so grandma told me to get unripe pawpaw, soak for some days and drink so i can pee everything out.
Thank God I had a smooth delivery and the baby never had jaundice.
What I am trying to say is that, you don't depend on only traditional method. You combine both. If modern doesn't work, use traditional.
That's what I did and thats what people I know did too.

Afodot0022:
Top of the day nairalanders.

I need advice from mature and married people on this issue. Anyone that have been following me for a while can relate with few things have brought here concerning my marriage.
I and my wife had a serious issues recently and i sent her out of my apartment, i descover she was having emotional affair with a random guy which i found out. Though she apologize but i struggle to let go cos i felt heartbroken and betrayal. I never expected she could go that route even though out union hasn't been that joyous or peaceful either. When i sent her away then, she took all her loads to the parlour cos we leave in a big flat. We stop sharing room together ever since then and also she stop doing any wify duty for me.
The problem is that, she works with the nigeria correctional services and ever since she has gotten the job, she has change totally. The job is stressing her alot that she doesn't have time for the family, the worst part is that the salary she earns is low that she spend all on transportation without any leftover. I have complain about this but she told me to be patient with her that things will get better saying the job is a federal job and have a future to behold. I kept ingnoring and managing things like that which wasnt easy for me as a man. We live in lagos and she spend close tk 4 hours go and from work daily. Attimes she won't be able to do her wify responsibility. Now becos of the issue we had together recently, my wife had made attempt to leave the home and rent an apartment in her working place to live there just ro reduce stress on her.. In as much as i know it was my fault that made her to take such drastic decision, i am not ready to let her go cos i don't want to leave seperately with my family. She is ok with the move but i am not, cos i dont have that confidence in her again what she might be doing by the time she start living alone. Now i cant relocate with them to the place cos my work is closer to when we stay presently and the environment is better than staying in barracks. Also the place we live presently is very economical cos we pay very low house rent dues to family connection which has help us to save and not paying rent at the moment. Now i dont know what to do whether to allow my wife go with my kids to stay at her working place while i stay where we are now presently. I can imagine myself living like a bachelor while am married.she agree i will be coming to visit them but we all know its not easy to meet up attimes. Now pls i need advice if i should let her go, or stay . Although we have settle our issues but she still insist she wants to go.

I live in Lagos and willing to take anyone who decides to help to the hospital as well for confirmation

NB: I'm 35 years of age and wanted this child as well, business didnt turn out fine reason I'm stucked
Congratulations on the birth of your baby. 9 months journey no easy but why is your account new. You just registered and this is your second post.
Kindly use your old account so people can trust you. A lot of scam going on lately and people are skeptical about new accounts.

I am tired of the marriage and I want to leave him please I need advice no insult if you insult me I will insult you back
It's not advisable to leave at this point. You are 8 months pregnant already.
Just stay till you give birth and get something doing.
You can't even work with your condition. Talk to your husband or report him to his family members so they can talk to him.
He needs to provide for you.
