Oga Eziashi my response to such a post as yours has been waiting since the onset of GEJ era of ignomy. But that's not as important as knowing that you are still alive and healthy and ever ready to join in 'change'. Welcome back to NL. |

Umunede: What most people especially the Yorubas don't understand is that no matter what happens, an hausa man can never, I repeat can never support a Southerner against his fellow hausa man. If for instance, a Fashola is contesting against an unknown hausa man, they will vote massively for that unknown hausa man. They don't care about performance. I did my Uni in the north and I am talking from experience because I did campus politics. Time will tell Have you forgotten Abiola vs Tofa, Obj vs GMB x2? |

kettykin: In the 60s Awolowo only wanted the post of vice president and minister of finance which he eventually got when he joined Gowons government after being released from serving a life sentence given to him from the North, 80s Awolowo and Zik contested and igbos voted for Zik You and many here don't know much about Nigerian history. |

Obiagelli: Now i get it, thanks. It's not exactly so. Representation in OPEC is politically determined by each member country. If a country's representative is elected to the executive council such member still retain his/her representative position. So imagine Deziani holding brief for GMB led govt in OPEC. |

If every other GMB detractor be forgiven Fayose must not benefit. He epitomizes everything that is evil. I hope Jagaban share same view with me even if GMB chooses to let go in the spirit of reconciliation. He should be taught a lesson of why an elected leader should not resort to 'agberoitic' abuse of a potential boss. |

That is enought to forgive the Nga man There are men but there are few men with unshakable principle. Your posts were what kept me in the political section. God bless you and other members of the #Change team. |

LRNZH: I can't help but mention mod Ngwakwe. I know he has hurriedly opened a thread to congratulate GMB but we cannot forget a man for his antecedents.
That guy banned us no be small..... It was a constant tug of war. LRNZH, 1LRNZH, ILRNZH, LRNZHkeed, etc etc... All monikers to beat Ngwakwe's antics.
They guy just didn't want GMB to win so that the next round of oil blocks will be awarded under GEJ's govt. Any post on the missing $20Billion, PTF, Economic mismanagement was a ban risk.
For me, my job online is done, but our jobs as Nigerians is about to start. All the best comrades. Ngwake was a real destructive virus left uncontrolled by Seun. He discouraged many in political section including me. My grouse is with Seun though for letting him become 'Hitler' on NL. |

Thank God for this thread. At a point close to the election I suddenly noticed the gradual disappearance of #CHANGE veterans monikers from the political section. In fact, I thought many had been caught by the barcanista 'bug'. Congrats to you all!! Now that the storm is over I plead that those with new monikers connect with us, old school. |

rottenegg: This villager as you call me is from Akwa Ibom state.....but I wont talk about my state and the numerous uncommon deeds that makes your so called Fashola look like a dwarf. Go to Enugu, Crossriver, Delta, Bayelsa etc.... These are states that have been brought from the 18th century to the future by PDP government.....and I am not talkng about ''flower planting'' or federal government presence like your filthy Lagos. Stop being tribal and move around before u spew trash online. Abusing me wont stop the truth.
Take note too...I live n work in Lagos but your topic is a joke.
Even Benue state has changed.
Next thing you will do is add Ibadan Lagos express as Fashola's achievements. Stop this rubbish. In fact dont mention Delta state here otherwise the lamentation and curses of Deltans will revert to you. |

Seun: Is it also necessary to regularly execute unarmed suspects without trial? Funny enough, it was this very act that radicalised Boko Haram. I had to compel myself to break my sabbatical from posting on NL because of the strong desire to respond to your post because it is thought provoking. No country is an island. Even those countries that are self-sufficient cannot afford isolationism. They rely on internal and external assessment and criticism to correct their shortcomings towards a greater goal. What China is today owes much to the constant barrage of criticism from the west especially in the 80's and 90's. It is so sad that Nigeria in the eyes of the international community with GEJ in charge leaves much to be desired. The regime appears to welcome only praise-singing but responds with insults when the reverse is the case. |

Sanchez01: In as much as I find the protest cheap and distasteful, I'm also forced to agree with you and many other sane Nigerians. Your flaw, however, is the fact that you generalized your claim, which, to me, is uncalled for. Not everyone see things the way those idiots see them. They're paid, jobless thugs. These thugs are used all over the country and not in Delta alone.
Your swipe at Delta does not go down well with me. At least, respect the fact that some readers here are from The Big Heart.
It still does not stop me from doing the needful....
