MzJackBaueress:He was in 1997. Somehow had an eventful tenure. |
NDPVF:This constant insulting approach to issues isn't going to help anyone. So also the misplaced 'gra' gra'. No stranger can usurp your rightful place, economically, or abuse you and your environment without the conninvance of the traitors within. Otherwise, what forced and/or aided them to move out of the SS in the first place? |
Mogidi:" Painment " loading. The road to opposition is road to oblivion for Satanoids. I wish you an eventful journey. |
Ahmeduana:What exactly are you contesting? |
Firefire:You made sense there. I wish you can stick to that train of reasoning, bro. |
Ahmeduana:PMB was chosen by popular demand. |
Ahmeduana:You are the one in error! GMB prior, PMB now. |
Barcanista is struggling in a tea pot, an exercise that will inevitably injure his mind and heart. Same may be the fate of those who chose to wrestle him to the ground because he alone knows the moral burden or otherwise behind his current rat race. To have an insight of his current convolution one must first understand the typical life of an Ijaw boy. Generally, you cannot separate an Ijaw from his heritage. Even then, barcanista's reverse reasoning is exceptional. |
Firefire:If I may ask, what did you give? |
OP, this is not a night club nor is it in the 50's. First, women rarely went to night club then. When they did, it was never in wrapper but long gowns with long sleeves. Back then, spinsters didn't wear wrapper to occasions. Only married women did. Did married women go to night club in the 50's? No! The blouse worn by the woman in the pics are of recent times. Finally, the hair style for both sexes then was,. mostly, afro but the hair of the lady in front appears treated. |
@Gbawe: Please can you make your presentation without mentioning GEJ and PDP atrocious reign, at least for now. I need to preserve my sanity. |
socialmediaman:Others may try to see beyond their nose not Mogidi. The case is a simple one. If the scenario painted by the op is true then there is conflict of interest. |
This looks more like a boa, a non poisonous snake, slow in movement, gentle like Jona, but sweet like chicken. |
M0GIDI:May the ignorant dispersal from your brain find no room to germinate. |
It is disheartening to find out that many of the so called brains in this country do not know the process involved in transition. The administrative 'coin' of handing over to another government is the hand-over note. The note is sacrosanct for a smooth transition. Should such process be shrouded in mystery it means the outgoing government has a lot to hide and wishes the incoming regime to make a false start. |
I HATE INDIAN FILMS. No kissing. No romance. No muchi muchi. Too artificial! |
Beremx:OK then! Coast is clear. I was just being cautious in case it's one of J's snipers. Where is Kenai and Collinzo9? Anyway, never mind, they are better of in limbo. Treacherous children of darkness. |
Beremx:Dear, all will be if beremx is whom I think the moniker is. |
Beremx:Beremx, Beremx, Unhhhhh! Still trying to get my orientation with this moniker. I dislike checking profiles. @topic: GEJ has so many aides on publicity, official and unofficial, eg, Abati, FFK, Okukpe, Asari, PEJ, Aribisala, Fayose, Clark, barcanista, Wike, et al. No co-ordination. Hence the cacophony of discordant voices from the Presidency like the tower of Babel. The result, of course, was the implosion and the resultant free fall into the bottomless abyss of political oblivion of the GEJ contraption. |
omar22:I can't remember any of them playing in the University games. Those Benin-9 were either with Samco stars, secondary schools, or street soccer teams. None played club football then. Note that Atere played for the under 17 twice - 85 and 87. At which of the tournament was he in Upper 6? |
aswani:I cannot doubt you at all but, like I said, their stated age was near actual age. Compared to subsequent teams, they were far younger. A case in point is the 87 team that has Osondu, who as at then, was 28years, though unconfirmed. The outstanding thing about the 87 team was that they were better appreciated globally for obvious reason; they were mistaken for the samba boys because of the sweet football they played. Their loss to USSR was so painful even to the Brazilians. The referee of that match, a Brazilian, was killed after the competition for, supposedly, favoring the Russians. |
MzJackBaueress:Good to know that. This MacJacksomething is alien. Ain't cool at all. Berem is golden and melodious. |
I totally agree with the Prof on this. Security for the President is one issue that is beyond the control of the C-I-C. If, however, GMB chooses to stick to his decision (assuming he made such), then his security detail must take certain extreme measures that will inconvenience the populace. Bottom line is that every govt organ must be allowed to properly function without hindrance. On the other hand, the overzealousness of the security men should be curtailed. |
The easiest way to understanding an issue at stake is to call for an expert opinion. So far nobody has done that. What I found, going through this thread, are explanations that are half near the reason for this calamity(assuming the story itself is true). |
MzJackBaueress:You deserve it joor. I wished I could get one hear in Warfi and knew your address it would be sitting pretty in front of your door by now. The Jewel of the East! Will you ever revert to your old moniker? |
The 1985 team was the best team ever in my opinion based on some outstanding features: 1. The first National team to win a FIFA organised competition 2. All the players were drawn from secondary schools, YSFON, and street soccer competitions. 3. Only Nigeria and Hungary had all players without club affiliation. 4. The players youthful innocence was indisputable and they played football with youthful exuberance and wanton pleasure. 5. The players were either of the age they claimed or close to it. Nine of the players were from Benin and coincidentally I was living in Benin then enabling me to know some. 6. Because of their success and the attendant rewards and world attention subsequent teams became politicized with quota system and win at all cost syndrome resulting in the use of over-age players. 7. The team had little government presence unlike subsequent once. Much of their needs were undertaken by YSFON. 1985 TEAM Head coach: Sebastian Brodrick-Imasuen 1 GK Lucky Agbonsevbafe(aged 15) No club 2 DF Ten worming Duere(aged 15) No club 3 DF Nikka Ugbade(aged 15) No club 4 DF Fatai Atere(aged 13) No club 5 DF Binabei Numa(aged 16) No club 6 MF Kingsley Aikhionbore(aged 15) No club 7 MF Salisu Nakade(aged 16) No club 8 MF Sani Adamu(aged 16) No club 9 FW Jonathan Akpoborie(aged 16) No club 10 FW Victor Igbinoba(aged 15) No club 11 FW Bilia Momoh(aged 15) No club 12 GK Imada Amapakabor(aged 16) No club 13 DF Baldwin Bazuaye(aged 16) No club 14 FW Joseph Babatunde(aged 16) No club 15 DF ChukwumaNwoha(aged 15) No club 16 MF Mohamed Yahay(aged 15) No club 17 MF Hilary Adiki(aged 14) No club 18 MF Dele Abubakar(aged 15) No club Nigerian players were selected from school teams. |
omar22:I completely agree with you. We cannot discontinuance the 1985 squad. They were the pacesetters in global competition for Nigeria in football. I'll be back to back my claim. |
sonOfLucifer:Hand him over if he is no longer amenable to your treatment. Anaesthesia is end of Medicine. There is always something here for everybody. |
Loosing election is a bitter pill to swallow. Playing opposition is becoming hell for PDPians! |
3ace:Car is Renault made in France. Oldies cars, don't try them! |
What the heck? This is good only if there is an electoral act for it. Such act must exclude all kids of active PDP members. Imagine the outcome of elections involving children of FFK, Okukpe, Olise Metu, and Fayose in the same school! |
It's only when Arsenal are playing Chelsea I hate Wenger. |
