Any response to this request still welcome. Thanks. |
Still expecting responses to this post. Thanks. |
@Iffygod, where exactly is this land? You mentioned 6th avenue or did I get it wrong? You said 2mins drive to mile2 and in the poster it says 22mins. You said there are 120plots but then also said you also intend to build 250 duplexes on it. What type of houses can be built on the land? Are there roads/other infrastructure on ground and can one really start building immediately? What documents do the lands have? When are your so called happy days when one pays less for the lands? Can the lands be verified Kindly give more details . Many thanks. |
I am ready to jump back into property investment hence this topic. I need a good site to build a block of flats for renting in Enugu . It should be a place that's liveable and therefore rentable but not too expensive. Budget is in the 3.5/4mil range. Will also need one for a personal residence. Ready to wait until I get something decent even if I have to pay more so not in a hurry. If you have or hope to get something suitable kindly leave your contact. Thanks |
@Mohumyta Nope. It was haulage business. |
This is the first of write ups I will be putting up here in coming weeks. First of all, I must commend the founder of nairaland for creating this interesting cyber community of Nigerians from which many of us have benefited in various ways. However, just like in the bible, there is always a Judas around the corner. I met a young man named Debo Muyiwa (nairaland ID; mayornaize) in this business forum in 2009. Following our discussions, I came down to Nigeria and invested nearly 7million naira in his haulage business. I am aware that some other guys did the same thing as he sounded quite reasonable. To cut the long story short, this man absconded with the truck and has remained incommunicado. I have reported this case to relevant security authorities but his whereabouts has remained unknown. His business name was Hush concepts enterprises and I think he is an old student of Baptist boys high school Oke-Saje Abeokuta. All his phone numbers have been switched off for more than 1year now and he seems to have changed his address as well. He has since stopped posting on nairaland but I just want to warn everybody as my preliminary investigations show that there might someone well known(or used to be well known) to this business section that may have links with Muyiwa. I am continuing in my pursuit of Muyiwa and any information that may help get him will definitely attract a very handsome reward. I will post more details later. I wish you all a very good day and shine your eyes in here abeg. |
hi, sounds genuine enough. Kindly send me the website to my email docchisong@yahoo.co.uk cheers CJ |
@poster My brother, Avensis is one of the most reliable cars I've ever seen and this is talking from experience. Its really unfortunate the used ones are not readily available in nigeria. Europe is your best bet as has been suggested by someone here. cheers |
@Ops E Hi, pls can I get in touch with you or any of those guys that dedicated trucks with our guy? I just need us to share some info in camera. U can give me the phone no in my email add and I'll definitely call Thanks docchisong@yahoo.co.uk |
@Ops E Thanks for your input. If its ok with you, would like to get in touch with these other guys that have issues with our mutual tormentor! Thanks CJ |
Hi Nairalanders, firstly I'll have to say I'm currently going through nightmare having given a truck on lease to a fellow nairalander in May 2009 for agreed monthly returns. I came across this guy (names withheld for now) in nairaland and following discussions over the phone, I came down to Nigeria and bought a truck (as specified by him ;Daf 95 XR 430HP) as well as the 40 ft box body back for carrying light sensitive commodities. The truck was also comprehensively insured and following a signing of agreement with our lawyers, I handed the truck over to him. Fellow nairalanders could you believe that its gone 5 months since i gave him my truck and he has only paid part of the return for the first month. He has often times assured he would pay but ends up reneging. He has told me loads of different stories but good enough he always said the truck was working( anyway I bought a sound truck). Lately he started blaming the company he hauls their goods for not paying adequately etc. The worst part is that whenever I mount pressure on him, he either puts off his phone or refuses to pick my calls. I know some people may see me as being naive but I have played the fool for this long to give what I believed was his young business some time to stabilize but my patience has run out. I lived in Nigeria for most of my life apart from the past few years and certainly know there are many ways of dealing with this condition but decided to exhaust all legal means first of all. I have decided to withdraw my truck from this guy but believe there are more honest guys in the haulage business even here in nairaland who may be willing to take my truck on lease. Finally I will appreciate responses from people with regards to the following 1) Taking my truck ( as described above) on lease as soon as possible for monthly REGULAR monthly returns ( send your proposal to docchisong@yahoo.co.uk) 2) How best to recover my money from this chap(within the confines of legality) asap NB; His own lawyer is also fed up with his stories as he has tried severally to intervene in the matter without any headway. I have left out specific details in this right up as this case is still within the legal system Thanks to you all in anticipation CJ |
Where are we heading to? , Armed robberies Militancy in Niger Delta Boko Haram Deteriorating power supply 419 Bad roads Bad international image Corruption of the highest order Bank failures and of course KIDNAPPING. Hi X-2-X Please can you also email the police character report form to my inbox; docchisong@yahoo.co.uk I really need it urgently. Thanks a lot CJ |
Kindly give us a rough guide of how you intend to build a 20 room hostel with 2.5 to 3million It would be quite interesting if this is possible and of course I will be interested. |
It depends on the age and condition of the truck. I dont think you can get a sound daf cf 85 from late 90's onwards for 2.5m. Remember euro is about 230naira at the moment. I think 3.5m and above is more realistic , that is if you are looking for a sound one. |
