There were issues raised concerning the offer given to some applicants most especially those linked to stakeholders. Some DPR staff children that merited it were dropped from the list and that provoked a lot of people. Also, the EH issue is still an ongoing debate. I don’t know whether that has been resolved but the list was ready since Monday.

There is so much tension in the system. Everyone should just pray that everything goes well in the end because the union members are not happy with the situation and they are not ready to give up until everything is done accordingly. Those that haven’t been contacted shouldn’t panic and remain hopeful.

Even if the letters will be dispatched by courier, which is the best method to avoid stories, the recipients should also be pre-informed either by email, text or call. Failure to do any of the above will amount to deliberate carelessness on the part of DPR.

Let's not become enemies to our bosses before we meet them
Let me share a personal experience.
When I moved into a particular quarters with my husband, we were told of a man who is of the same tribe. My husband knew the man but I didn't, only heard about & barely ever seen him clearly. When I got the job I'm on now, my husband went to meet the man when I came to Abuja for documentation, hubby heard the man works in the place I just got a job and the man happened to be the HOD of the department I was posted to.
When I returned we went together to see him & that was the face time I was ever seeing the man face to face. From the way he spoke it was obvious he had issues with us/me and it was confirmed when I resumed as a colleague we did documentation together with told me the man was bragging about how he'd deal with in the office because I don't greet him... Someone I didn't know oo
He has presently formed alliance with the state Cordinator to deal with me & they r putting their plans together in a very dubious way but here I am laughing at their ignorance.

In conclusion, I'm not saying you shouldn't carry out your plans. But if you're sure, that's your instinct is telling you that you will get this job please just hide your face. Just help ur career start on a good note to enable u mentain such without much stress. If you've not worked in the civil service before & you're also agitating for this protest, just stylishly withdraw so that u don't have to verbally curse yourself after bringing frustration upon yourself due to your actions.

Does the 400 include stakeholder candidates and general candidates?
Have all letters arrived at all zonal offices especially Port Harcourt office?

I mentioned this before merit list and stake holder list. The merit list had 300 names while the stakeholders list had 200 names. The recruitment was merit based.

Mr Tata sacrificed 100 slots that was meant for a fresh recruitment this year to protect the 300 merit candidates. Thats the reason the names on the stakeholder list increased from 100 to 200.

There was a management meeting in the HQ today attended by the Zonal Operation Controllers to deliberate on the current recruitment and other issues. I will provide updates on the outcome of the meeting later.

I want to assure everyone that successful candidates will be contacted. Please be patient with them.

Getting access to her would start from knowing her/his name and a confirmation from the reception if she/he is expecting you.

Just left the corporate HQ at Kofo Abayomi and I can confirm that just a few people have been contacted. The lady at the reception confirmed contacts were made either via phone call or mail. She said "I should exercise patience".

There is still another list hanging. The total is 400!!! And that is the list consisting of most candidates on merit. Here is my concern; if the current APL indicated resumption date to be 13th August, all APL should be out by now. DPR agents are on this thread, they read what is going on, and I am openly questioning them to provide the APL of the remaining candidates.

I am not saying you shouldn't get in special candidates, I am only requesting that you are fair with this recruitment and release other appointments to ease the psychological trauma of all applicants.

It is WICKEDNESS on the part of DPR to only process 200 letters. They need to start working on other applicants, they should start sending successful candidates notification.

This is Nigeria. The truth is this type of things happen. In 2013, when I got my present FG Job, 6 out of the 25 successful ones didn’t see their appointment letter. They were panicking and almost crying until they told them their sponsors had already picked it for them, But the sponsors waited for the merit candidates to get their letters before giving it out.
We should all chill, DPR will call the merit successful ones. Im so sure
I just pray I shd be among Cos I already typed my resignation letter here ��
