I do understand your rantings and delusions about the Catholic Church though. I have read a lot of Ellen G White's own rantings too. You have succeeded in saying nothing. That you have read a lot of E. G. White's books does not change the fact that the Catholic church is a murderous, idolatrous, evil organization. |

But let me just say that those who criticized catholics for serving communion in church are they themselves doing the same thing today, they also sing hymns and kneel at the altar!
When muslims or other religion are referring to christianity, they are actually referring to the mother church that is universal and that has withstood criticisms and hate for more than 2000 years! I cannot close my mouth and refuse to say the truth. The Catholic church has substituted the commandments of men for those of GOD; the same thing Jesus strongly condemned in Matt. 15:9. Yes I agree that the Catholic church is the mother church. It is the Mother of Harlots of Rev. 17:5. "Come out of her, my people..." |

It is never godly to sin. Sin is lawlessness, and it is never godly to be lawless. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." 1 Cor. 10:13 As far as we continue to try our very best to obey GOD through His strength, He will not allow temptations that we cannot withstand to overtake us.
That Rahab lied to protect the spies does not mean that GOD approved of her lies. Indelibly etched in the 10 Commandments is the injunction not to bear false witness. GOD is able to save those spies without Rahab's lies. The problem is that many Christians don't believe that GOD can save them when they choose to remain holy.
The Bible and the life of Jesus should be our only guide in this upward course of ours. It is never godly to go against GOD's command. Remember Uzzah and how he died trying to help GOD. |

The concept of the triune GOD can be more clearly understood by considering the concept of infinity: Let infinity be a number that cannot be counted. Infinity + infinity + infinity = a number that cannot be counted = infinity. In the same way, GOD is an Entity that cannot be measured in any way. The Father is GOD. The Son is GOD. The Spirit is GOD. A union of the Father and the Son and the Spirit = An entity that cannot be measured in any way = GOD. |

Rilwayne001: Job 14:4 Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.
Allegedly Adam and Eve were unclean and this^ verse is asking how the unclean Adam and eve could have given birth to a clean baby. Answer it Who called Adam and Eve unclean? Jesus came through a woman too. He was not unclean. Stop saying what you think the Bible says. Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--
What did Moses and other prophets before the Bible came to do?
What about those before Jesus came and those that never heard of Jesus, for example, Abel that was killed by Cain in the Bible? Jesus is the GOD of the old testament. And as far as all the OT patriarchs obeyed GOD carefully, they looked forward to the coming Redeemer(who became Jesus) who would take away their sins and resurrect them to eternal glory. |

Rilwayne001: Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. This does not mean that the baby conceived was iniquitous. For "he that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."(James. 4:17). A baby knows nothing with regards to wrong or right. Since Jesus allegedly cane to die for this sin that brought death upon us, why are we still dying? Jesus died to set us free from the power of sin and its consequences. Even though we die now believing in Jesus, we will live again in a perfect world where there is no death. So we are not really afraid of death. Salvation is of two phases: from sin, and from the presence of sin. We have been saved from sin(Amen). One day, we will be saved from the presence of sin and its effect. |

Did Joshua and his troops KILL all of the 12,000 people of Ai? Ancient Israel was theocratic i.e GOD was their King. Kings often led their people to war then to expand their territories/acquire land. GOD led the children of Israel to wars against those nations and cities because it was time for judgment to be meted on them, and also because GOD was settling them in the land which He promised to their fathers. |
Christianity Etc › Re: How Do You Authenticate God? by DoctorAlien(m): 4:13pm On Nov 19, 2016 |
DeepSight: This is not relevant as the sin of the bible is said to be hereditary such that even new born babies are guilty, by biblical doctrine even where they are yet to have a single thought, much less do any of these things you have mentioned.
Now aside from that, is it not true that this world is a transient one in which death is a fundamental part of life cycles: and as such does not arise from any sin?
And man who is born surely must also grow old and die, not so?
Why do animals and plants die: have they also broken the laws of Yahweh? The above bolded is not biblical. New born babies are not sinners. What sin have they committed? Death came through sin. The earth was made as a home for man. But when man sinned, death and decay entered the world and affected everything on earth. Animals and plants die today to remind man of the perfect home he forfeited(where there was no sign of death), and of the consequences of breaking GOD's law. |

DeepSight: Really? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Then its pretty strange what he did to Jesus/ himself! Jesus is GOD. Therefore, GOD the Father gave His only begotten Son to save the world. The law of GOD is as sacred as GOD, and only GOD Himself could atone for the breaking of that law. He sacrificed Jesus(who is GOD but took on flesh) to pay for the destruction that we rightly deserve for breaking His Law. There are people who recognize that they are sinners, and are in need of rescue from eternal damnation which sinners deserve. Jesus' sacrificial work comes in handy to these people. Other people who reject Jesus and His love will simply get the destruction which they rightly deserve. |

[s] joyContraMundum: An example that YOU can relate with would suffice. Imagine that stateless (homeless) nomadic war-mongering circumcised bastards - an entire nation of them - attacked Nigeria in under the pretext that their God (which we DO NOT believe in) has delivered us into their hands because he has promised them OUR land. Then this brutal war-mongering nation of genocidal bastards killed every single one of us, male and female, young and old, mothers and babies and all our pets and livestock in the name of THEIR God. In this scenario, who's innocent? Who's guilty and filthy? The answer is self-evident.
Yet, this is what Joshua and his slave tribe of circumcised animals did to the inhabitants of Jericho, in the name of Yahweh. [/s] I did not ask you to teach me how to use uncouth words. GOD killed those nations because they were idolatrous and extremely sinful. If you don't agree, bye. |

He says thou shall not kill, but presided over, supervised and commanded the horrific deaths of many innocents at the hands of the Sons of Israel. He asserts to King Saul through Samuel that he NEVER changes, but we've seen him change his mind a number of times in his Biography contained in the Bible..... etc, etc..... This nullifies your point. He's not trustworthy and pretty unstable. He doesn't stand by his words. In light of this, the Bible verse you quoted serves no purpose. Were the people GOD killed innocent? If yes, how? If no, then you have no point. |

Now, if you're to preach the gospel to an unbeliever in a bid to draw him to salvation by accepting Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour, and he asks the same question I asked then you would go on to tell him this: "I know that this is an attempt at subtly asking the question "Prove that GOD exists." But, bro, I don't have time for such unrewarding, meaningless, spiritually unbenefitting arguments"? Do you expect him to be credulous enough to just swallow the whole thing without asking questions? "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet..." DoctorAlien: Jer. 7:31; 19:5 and 32:35 clearly indicate that the idea of human sacrifice never entered GOD's mind, and since it did not, GOD would not require Jephthah to make her daughter pass through the fire(Lev. 20:1-5). |
Christianity Etc › Re: How Do You Authenticate God? by DoctorAlien(m): 10:56pm On Nov 18, 2016 |
joyContraMundum: Did Christ prevent Jephtha from making a human sacrifice of his daughter? The Bible does not specifically say that Jephthah burnt her daughter. I'd like to think he simply devoted her to the service of GOD. Thus, she never got married and she knew no man carnally. Judges 11:39 gives a hint at this. Also, the daughter went to bemoan her virginity. That suggests something. Jer. 7:31; 19:5 and 32:35 clearly indicate that the idea of human sacrifice never entered GOD's mind, and since it did not, GOD would not require Jephthah to make her daughter pass through the fire(Lev. 20:1-5). The women of Israel copied the act of Jephthah's daughter's friends, and simply made it a custom. |
