Lennycool: During the dark ages in Europe, people who didn't believe in God where accused of heresy and killed. In the modern world today and in mostly Islamic countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan. Unbelief in their God can be very fatal. Brother, give instances of people who are being killed by Christians today for being atheists. Don't give me the Dark Age story. I know about it more than you do. |

plaetton: I once opened a thread asking why animals do not worship God. I was actually attacked and mock for asking such kindergarten question.
I remained patient to see if someone could get the full import of my question, to think deeper and understand where I was pointing at.
Like this OP has written, without man , there are no gods. Man is the creator of god. Animals do not have an after death phobia. Animals do not need insurance policies Redeemable after death. Animals don't have a desire to live forever. Do you mean anyone who doesn't have a desire to live forever is an animal? |

ValentineMary: Did I not tell u sometime ago that u were inconsiderate people are killed for not believing in an imaginary God, people are discriminated for not believing in an imaginary God and I should just stand and watch. I decide to use my knowledge to bring people out of this slavery of the mind. That's why Seun opened a thread saying "Every Nigerian atheist should be outspoken". I have seen people die because they had faith. But u suggest I should stand and watch.
Have u seen anybody killing, discriminating, disowning thier kids, etc because of Naruto or Batman now u know why we talk about God.
If people stand killing others because of Harry Potter, I would also speak against it because I have a human conscience which many religious folks lack. Please give instances of the above bolded. I wish to make it known, however, that I don't support discriminating against atheists in any way. IN ANY WAY! |

I also showed him how evil batman is and how many people he has killed. MY ATHEIST FRIEND: Are you crazy? How could you have been discussing batman all day? He doesn't exist. Batman is fiction. You can't spend all day discussing fiction ME: What about GOD? He is fiction right? Why do you spend most of your time on the fiction called GOD? MY ATHEIST FRIEND: Erm, erm... you know... |

I did not say the killings the Israelite did was fiction, I said the ones God performed were fiction, check my earlier post. It's okay to lie. Lennycool: Mean while ask yourself why there is no evidence of the great flood today, or why scientist have agreed without doubt that the diversity present today in humans could not be brought about by just two people(Adam and Eve). Also ask yourself why no miracle in the bible can be confirmed today. Plenty of evidence abound of a great flood. Try to read about how coal and crude oil is formed and then read about the immense quantity these resources we have on earth today and how they could have been formed. Who are scientists? I'm a scientist too and I agree that a human chromosome has capacity to produce enough variations that'll bring about different races. So who are scientists you are waiting for to agree to such, before you do? Can you mention their names? Miracles still occur today. Miracles have occurred to me. I'm a living witness. |

Its embarrassing to see a grown man believing in fairy tales. All I just told you can be confirmed on the web. Even if someone from the antediluvian world resurrected and told you that the flood occurred, you still wouldn't believe. Am I lying? Are scientists the one to decide for you what to believe? So if scientists tell you today that you were once a dog, you would believe? There is proof anyway that the whole world descended from just two people. There is no fairytale as embarrassing and incredible as evolution. |

Try to reason before you ask the next question. LOL. Lennycool: Don't twist my words. The bible is a fictional book, God is fictional, and hence he did not kill anyone as he is madeup(imaginary). Hope you get me now. Jesus's existence is accepted but not his miracles or supernatural stunts, just as most works of fiction incorporate the real world with fantasies, so does the bible, the ancient tribe known as the Israel created God and incorporated things in their life to him. God and everything done by him is made up. There, hope I'm clear. This will have to be continued tomorrow. You're funny. Now, how did you even know for sure that ancient Israel worshipped GOD or created Him? Now, is everything in the Bible fiction? If not, distinguish clearly between the ones that are fiction and the ones that are not fiction. |

But you said that the Bible is fictional, together with the killings in it: Lennycool: Yes all the killings are fictional and so is God, but since Christians want to take it as non fiction, we shall analyze it as such. So for the sake of argument we will assume it was real. Were the killings about GOD too? |
Christianity Etc › Re: If Jehovah Is Omnipresent, Where Was It When Eve Was Talking To The Snake? by DoctorAlien(m): 11:22pm On Sep 23, 2016 |
Lennycool: Most scholars of antiquity agree that Jesus existed,[54][55][56][57]but scholars differ on the historicity of specific episodes described in the Biblical accounts of Jesus.[14]:181The only two events subject to "almost universal assent" are that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist and was crucifiedby the order of the Roman Prefect Pontius Pilate.[12][58][59]Elements whose historical authenticity is disputed include the two accounts of the nativity of Jesus, the miraculous events including the resurrection, and certain details about the crucifixion.[60][61][62][63][64][65] This is a direct quote from the wikipedia page about the history of Jesus. As a confirmation of what I said, even if he existed he was just mortal. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historicity_of_Jesus?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C5280288763 But according to you, the Bible is a fiction book and the things recorded there are not real. Did you lie? |
Christianity Etc › Re: If Jehovah Is Omnipresent, Where Was It When Eve Was Talking To The Snake? by DoctorAlien(m): 10:56pm On Sep 23, 2016 |
Lennycool: Didn't you read my earlier post. History hasn't agreed on the existence of Jesus. There is no reliable proof that he ever existed. So what's you argument. Check the web. Read "historicity of Jesus" on wikipedia and see for yourself. Read also "Evidence from Tacitus". LOL. At least no one can deny Tacitus was a historian. Also check "biblical figures identified in extrabiblical sources." History records Jesus' existence. |

Lennycool: So you accept genocide and rape as a suitable punishment GOD never condoned rape, okay? Now remember: GOD created me, He created you, He created everything. He gives and takes life, and no one questions Him. He is a just GOD. He wears Justice like a robe. The wages of sin and rebellion against GOD is death. When a creature chooses to rebel against its Creator unrepentantly, what awaits it but utter destruction? This same destruction awaits those who refuse to turn away from sin despite all the loving efforts GOD is making to save them from death and give them eternal life. |

Lennycool: Yes all the killings are fictional and so is God, but since Christians want to take it as non fiction, we shall analyze it as such. So for the sake of argument we will assume it was real. Hahahahahahahahahahhahahaha The argument is dead on arrival then, because if the Bible is a fiction book, then history would not recognise some of the figures mentioned therein, such as Jesus. If all the killings in the Bible are not real, why do atheists go about all day moaning about them? Do you realise it's just like moaning all day about the people that batman killed? Do you even realize that if the Bible is a fiction, then the present day Israelites did not descend from the Bible Israelites? LOL |

Lennycool: You say sleep as if the wives will give consent. God did not say if David wives agreed to his plan, he simply said he would give his wives (notice it is plural) to his neighbour to lie with, in the presence of all of Isreal. And about the slavery aspect, you say people sold themselves into slavery for one reason or the other. But notice that the maidservant didn't sell herself rather her father sold her. Also what about the other passages I presented where the villages were raided and all the males young (children and babies) and old were slaughtered and the woman who were not virgins killed. The rest were taken as slaves. Defend this please. Remember GOD does not exist so how did He say that? Kidding. LOL GOD simply told David that it will be meted to him with the same measure with which he meted to another. Read again. The people that were slaughtered were Midianites. Read about them and how they led Israel into sin. GOD simply judged them for that. |
