Good morning everyone,

please my friend unfortunately had to work more than 20 hours because the bills were too much and he’s also the first child of the family so he had to pay siblings school fees and take care of his family back home in Nigeria.

He only started Working 34 hours after lectures was over and they were writing dissertation as he had exhausted every savings so needed money badly, It’s time for psw but he’s scared of doing the Visa because he doesn’t want to be caught and deported.

I’ve told him to try his luck and see what happens but he’s saying he doesn’t want to risk it, please is there any way for him to explain to the VO maybe in a cover letter or something else why he had to work those hours.

Nsogbu wear cover shoe.
He knows the end gain will supercede that passive chewing gum money, he adamantly did it.
If na me, i for done forget anything about PSW and use that time to find U.K kpali possesser.
Na there him luck for gather small.

Definitely it is standard £314. The actual fact is that I believe YouKay is proFamily and they usually fast track family visas quicker b4 13th day from the biometrics date.
I was a doubting Thomas not until today.

BRP ALERT

Timeline:
Online Application 21st March.
Biometrics 29th March.
Decision reached 5th April.
BRP received 9th of April [Easter]
Visa Type; Dependent.

Well...I didn't feel the type of tension I felt 2015 when I was applying for Australian Student Visa which I did with my sincere heart oOo and even paid up to 2MIL for school fees yet and got denied.

I came to NL and promised them that since they never want me as a student, that I will come as one of them without giving them my kobo.

Hello Chreze,
Just out of curiosity. You said there are ‘not-so-expensive’ tests to check the genotype of the foetus in-utero. Brilliant!

This check is done post fertilisation and conception, yes?

What would have happened in your own case if the results showed SS? The pregnancy will be terminated. Yes? No?
Let’s assume yes. What happens if the second pregnancy is SS too? Repeat termination? And the 3rd and the fourth etc until an AA or AS comes along?
You imagine the emotional trauma, and the cost

And things happens the opposite way in times of depression/desperation.

Good morning everyone. I'm very new here. I'm a registered nurse working here in Nigeria. I plan relocating to the UK via the Healthcare assistant visa, then finish up my OSCE in the UK and get my RN PIN to practice as Band 5 Nurse. Please has anyone here ever tried this route before? If yes, how feasible is it? I'm not in a haste to leave Nigeria, as I work in an oil company.

I just wanna be sure that I'm making the right decision, don't wanna be suck in another man's land. All suggestion would really be appreciated.

Thank you

Its a 50/50 situation. The rule says he has 60 days to leave or find another job after expiry of visa. Which means his BRP should be valid for 60 days after the company lose their licence. Not sure about this but he can still go ahead to travel.

At worst, he can claim at POE that his reason for returning is to remove his personal effects from the UK and plans to return immediately, if he encounters any issues. A return ticket would make it more convincing.

I hope this helps

Seconded!!
Imagine having properties in your flat and just came down to Nigeria for your compulsory leave and this happened¿
I believe there should still be a grace period for you to do the needful with your personal properties tho.

Please, house, I have an important question to ask.

I was contacted by a hospital in the UK for a job as a laboratory officer. They even linked me to the British embassy which has been sending me mails.

The embassy asked my employer in the UK to pay a visa reg fee of 1350 pounds for me and they paid and sent me the payslip to sent to the embassy.
The embassy now asked me to pay for a BTA of 500 pounds in naira through my Nigerian account and the money ll be issued to me through a travellers cheque when I come for my visa appointment.

They said they won't give me an appointment until I pay the money into their account.
I complained to my employer in the UK, but he sent me mail saying payment of BTA is my responsibility.
I don't know whether all these are genuine cos how can they waste 1350 pounds just like that? Please someone should advise me appropriately. No insults, pls.

SCAM!!! 🤣 E no go end there ooO...
If you done commit, you go dey pay dey go in order to recover what you've committed already.

Okay, my mistakes then.
Although where I picked that line from was when a dependent got a CoS and he was told that if he abandons the current dependent visa which he is under and follows that COS, that his clocks will restart.
I was thinking it applies all round tho.

Hello, please I need advice. I met my boyfriend(African-British) a few months ago and we plan to get married later this year. Unfortunately, I found out we are both of AS genotype. I'm optimistic about not having kids with sickle cell but since it can't be ruled out, I want to ask if the UK government provides adequate and free health programs for such or if the sickle cell treatment issue is the same here as it is in Nigeria

Pieces of Advice will be appreciated. Thanks

IVF is the only way forward on this.
I had 2 friends who are sicklers, Snoop died in January and the 2nd is still alive.
We used to buy him codeine in order to get high and forget his sorrows.

That is to say; if you've decided never to sleep with your two eyes closed at night for years and still be at risk of loosing your child, you can go ahead. But if you cherish peaceful nights and detests going to hospital more than you goes to work, abort that 'Love or goal'; your choice.

Hello guys, I apologise this is a long post but I need your contributions please.
My brother is registered with indeedflex and he was given a shift at Sainsbury's. When he was about to leave after the shift they were told they all need to be searched cos someone stole from one of the sections. However, they didnt see anything on him. Some days after his shift he did not receive payment and he first contacted the shift leader in Sainsbury's who said he will not be paid cos he was caught stealing. He probed further to understand where the accusation was coming from but they stopped responding. He then contacted indeedflex and they repeated same thing. He told them that it was a blatant lie and needs evidence of that. He sent several messages to talk about how the accusation has traumatized him and affected him financially. After some days they finally paid him and according to indeedflex it was cos he returned the stolen item when confronted. He insisted it was all false and he needs them to investigate and show him CCTV evidence or something. They said they cannot release the evidence cos of GDPR, that they will not push it any further but will keep an eye on his account. He has not gotten shifts in Sainsbury's ever since. We need advice on how we can get to the root of this please, it is a serious and false accusation that has the tendency of tarnishing his image. There were other black agency workers that worked there on that day and this could be a case of mistaken identity. Do we need to talk to a lawyer?

E be like Lawyers dey call this one "Assassination of Character".
Getting a lawyer might be necessary here claiming their accusations has affected you psychologically and financially. An your image being seen as a th!ef.

Oyibo them dey run am and you will be expecting hundreds if not millions of pounds for that accusing you wrongly.
Lawyers in the house should tell us better on how it can be done.

If you have your international driving licence plus your provisional licence, you can drive without anyone accompanying you.
But note: your international licence expires a year after you enter UK, that means, after a year, it becomes invalid and you can't drive with prov licence alone, except you are accompanied.

They expect that within a year of entering UK, you should get your main licence..
And if unfortunately, it doesn't happen (which is the case for many immigrants), you must be accompanied by someone who who has gotten his main licence for 3 or more years.

I see a lot of pp driving with only prov licence, the police might not check, but if any issues happens like crash/accident etc, it won't be funny...

Also note, with international driving licence alone your insurance is high, with prov licence added, its lower, but with main licence, insurance is very low.

Hope this helps you.

Well detailed 👌, I appreciates.

Sorry to ask but I have seen comments about this 'Provisional Licenses.'

For me it's useless (via HearSay), but would like to know the essence of people getting it when they know you cannot drive with it?
Is it not better to either use 9ja License or take the test to get The Brits own?

That is part of the reason Nigeria, remains a fantastically corrupt shithole ........

The insurance sector of a country/economy, forms a core sector, not an optional element ......😂🤣

NB : If you drive a car without adequate insurance cover....... Expect some or a combination of this ......

- Big fine
- Prison sentence
- Points on your licence
- immigration status revocation/deportation
- Vehicle seized + collection tax imposed

Imagine been involved in a accident, resulting in the loss of a life (expect the extreme of above listed consequences).........😅

If you cannot afford to insure a car, buy a bicycle 🚲🚲🚲🚲.....🥵😜

Chai...Nsogbu really wear cover shoe for the matter.
Thanks for this insight.

Make 9-japa mentality remain on this soil where it belongs immediately men board their flights then.
