You will always dream about the kind of education and training I had, you can't ever have anything near it. Your choice of words have shown clearly your type and I am not here for that. When you are through serving your term in your SIBERIA you can come home to see things for your self. I am not an Edo person so there is really no reason I shoud be partisan but I believe we should stand with the truth at all times.

I am sure you do not expect him to cover the whole of edo state in 2 years. If you are truthful to your self you will agree that the man is the best thing to have happened to the state in decades. If you have a score to settle with him please relate to him directly and stop feeding people with lies!

Certainly Buhari and Ribadu can move us forward IMO but Buhari may have the better chance overall to kick out the evil PDP.
I agree with u on every of the point you have raised but have u imagine a situation where Buhari is unable to conclude his term in office as a result of death or any form of of incapacitation? are we going to be lead by Tunde Bakare?
PoliticsRe: Team Ribadu Are On Exile! by doja(m): 9:14pm On Apr 06, 2011
Our campaign is not about noise making on Nairaland. Ours is a well structured campaign that is anchored on strategic thinking.

We know Nigerians with voters cards and we know those other Nigerians in Siberia -- they will never vote because they can't come home but they are very loud noise makers. We will not waste our time on these set of Nigerians.

We know those Nigerians whose ideology you can't place a finger on, unfortunately they are educated they know what is good for them but cant go for it. The good news is these set of people are in the minority-- we will keep working on them.

We have identified those Nigerians who do not know who a Ribadu is, but can identify a broom any time they see one-- they will be going to the polling booth to vote the broom.

We know those Nigerians who will always DO THE RIGHT THING even in the face of misguided opposition. They are on every land, every village square, every space and their books keep faces of like minded people. They are the market women who will only look out for the broom because they know that will sweep away their sorrows and fears of the past. They will never argue unneccesarily because they know how to achieve their set targets and their mind are set at it.These are the Ribadu people .

We will continue to persuade those Nigerians who have not bought into vision of a Ribadu Presidency until such a time when we can all come together to make our country better.

Meanwhile, all Ribadu supporters should please visit the site below to send at least 5 absolutely free sms to friends and colleagues.http://www.thetimeisnownigeria.com/campaigns/sms_message/new

Kobojunkie:
Initially we were sold the idea that Ribadu would be a departure from the norm, right? But now we realize that he is being sold to us by some of the same old GodFathers we are trying to run from. So we then we try to find other reasons to buy into the Ribadu idea. Problem is he is one of the least qualified candidates -- has no real solide records serving as a public official(outside of when he was EFCC chief under Obasanjo -- another Godfather) when compared to some of the others.

I don't know who his vice is . . . I mean I know his name and have read of his personal business history but that does not convince me he will work well in the public sector, especially in Nigeria.
and you think Buhari's vice can do better? what is a Bakare bringing to the table?

PoliticsRe: Buhari's Past Sins, Ribadu's Past Sins, Jonathan's Past Sins by doja(m): 11:34pm On Apr 03, 2011

Thank you my brother.

Contrary to what people would like us to believe, Ribadu is a man we can trust.People who do not want him seem to keep talking about Tinubu but the truth is that Tinubu has been out of office for about 4 years and nobody has been able to dig out anything to nail him that should confirm what you said earlier about  beer palour political discusions.

This man is one of the founding fathers of the ACN, he assembles talented and progressive men to lead . He is not afraid of them or of giving them a platform to lead. It is instructive that all the Governors of the ACN are performing well i.e Fashola, Oshiomhole , Aregbesola and Fayemi. Ribadu has consistently insisted he did not go to the ACN because of Tinubu . Rather he went there because of Fashola , Oshiomhole and the many progressive men gathered under the umbrella of the Party. To any fair minded adult, that is a very reasonable explanation. In other words , Ribadu is saying why do folks , if they are not mischievous and routinely negative, only see and highlight Tinubu when the ACN is mentioned ? How about the exemplary performers and progressives in the ACN to include the best performing Governor in Nigeria many Nigerians now tout as a future President ? In any case , has Ribadu gone to the ACN to begin dancing to Tinubu's tune? Did Ribadu not insist on merit with Okonjo-Iweala as his VP  ? Did tinubu not give in to the extent that the offer was eventually made to Okonjo-Iweala after which she turned it down?  Ribadu is in the ACN and anyone who is fair will see he made the right choice because , from all indications , the ACN will be the natural home of progressive politics and progressive minds. If Tinubu is intent on control then it serves his purpose better to seek crude 'tools' like Alao-Akala instead of men and women with their own resolute minds and ideas.

Abacha never stole but looted.

Buhari has not been idle for 25 years but he has been busy doing nothing.

Ribadu is not good enough but he is intelligent, pragmatic, courageous, incorruptible, constantly seeking ways to develop himself, always in the company of progressives, endorsed by the best brains in the land and abroad, not a religious fanatic, not an ethnic bigot, in tune with modern realities, understands and respect  the law, he is closer to 50 and far from 70 and above all he has got the interest of the country at heart.

I will mobilise everyone around me to vote for Ribadu and my precious one vote is going to him 2. what about u?

PoliticsRe: I Just Watched Oshiomhole And Was Moved by doja(m): 3:11pm On Mar 29, 2011
How come some political parties have shown great affinity for individuals like Alao Akala, lucky igbinedion, Daniel, Joshua Dariye, Alamasiegha et al while other political parties  like the  ACN has shown affinity for individuals like Adams Oshiomole, Fashola,Ribadu,Audu Ogbe, Dele Alake, Abike Dabiri, Tinubu and so on. The truth is, the structure of a political party has got a lot to do with characteristics of individual therein.

I therefore urge you good people to please vote with your head and not with your thumb this time around.Let us vote people whose antecedents we can base our support firmly on.

PoliticsRe: Why Buhari Over Ribadu? by doja(m): 11:20pm On Mar 27, 2011
Wow what a thread! were have I been all day?

Almost everyone here agrees to the fact that Ribadu will be a good president because of what we know about him, his sharp intelligence and the acceptance he has in the international community but the issue seem to be that some people feel he is guilty by association.

There are certain questions I had like to ask people who seem not to be comfortable with Tinubu and they are as follows;

How come Tinubu is not  lording himself over Adams Oshiomole of Edo State? Edo state is working very well.
How come each time this man insist on a particular candidate for any position the candidates ends up being a good choice?
Tinubu left office 4 years ago, how come no one has been able to convict him or even arrest him for corruption?

All that said, do we honestly believe that Ribadu can be pushed around by anybody?I do not believe so and we can see evidence of that in the way he carried out his work @EFCC.

Buhari is a good man with a passion to put things right , instill discipline and correct some mistakes of the past, these qualities  are not lacking in Ribadu infact, he has all these qualities and more.

Add this to the fact that Ribadu is in a party that has been tested, a party that has been known for the quality of ideas they bring forth in their domain, a party whose structure is getting stronger by the day. Same cannot be said of CPC the party has remain largely untested and like I said before now, remove  a Buhari from CPC and the party becomes 'empty' compare this with an ACN that has the likes of Fashola, Mamora, Abike  Dabiri , Audu ogbe, Adams oshiomole ,

Lastly, if you have a 70 year old whose ideas and principles are similar to what a 50 year old is bringing to the table and more I think it is more logical to go with the younger person because like a friend said, a 70 year old is more likely lo have hips of files unattended to in his office than a fifty year old man.

If eventually Buhari becomes the President of Nigeria in may, I will be as happy as I would be if it was my Ribadu that won because I know we are in save hands.

@poster

Dreams can be funny at times,  they are sometimes a function of the fear we nurse in our cconscious state now revealing itself in our subconscious state.

Please erase all fears from your mind and join others who have vowed to do the right thing,  to vote right. We should all vote ovoverwhelminglyor ACN End make it very difficult for anybody to rig elections this time around. Nigerians are aware now of the manipulations of the past and are all willing  to correct all of that this time around.

So please join the crusade in your own area. Go to the polling station with your wards and vote right then stay to ensure the result is announced there and then, brobroadcaste result onlon line through your phone. By doing these you are going to make it very difficult for anyone to rig the elections.
