walking all the way home cos you used your t fare for ice cream ( jamil youghurt or savanna ice cream) my brothers were fans of the table soccer thing so I even played that too, lol childhood was definitely fun. You basically grew up in Nigeria, nothing you've mentioned is particular to Benin. |

Dont be daft . . . biometrics simply means this - use of physical traits (such as finger prints) or behavioural traits to uniquely indentify an individual. Has nothing to do with pen or paper. Do you use pen and paper to collect fingerprints? Ode. Grin Even the new naija passport now contains biometric information.
All these ludicrous illiterates who come here show "i sabi". Make una read instead of skipping classes. You're so ignorant it's ridiculous, listen chimp once this fingerprints are collected there stored in a database with a name, so these prints and that name can only be used ONCE, so if a person tries to use another name with the same print the computer detects it and refuses it!! Nigeria didn't do this in the last election, ink was used to take fingerprints and the names were recorded with pen and paper on a tired looking book so people simply went to other voting centres using fake names and SAME prints to vote twice trice and so on, THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF A BIOMETRIC CHIMP!! I was simply explaining to that guy that the new biometric technology is the best thing for Nigeria before you came in to show everyone how intelligently ignorant you are!! Even the UK just recently introduced biometrics late last year for their immigration. Always trying to pick silly fights with people spending 20 hours on Nairaland everyday, get out and get a life. |

davidylan: the joke is on you. Go and find out what "biometric" means in the dictionary. You illiterates just throw around fancy words you dont understand. Collecting fingerprint information is itself biometrics! Biometric also includes pen paper and ink like the one used in Nigeria right? Biometrics are done digitally not manually so I Know what I'm talking about you chimp. |

oyb: how would you look at nigeria
two days ago, nigeria was in the news for the kidnap of 15 children , today terrorists have attacked the nation golden jubilee celebrations. radical islamist fundmentalism is rearing its head in the north there is an uncontained CHOLERA outbreak in the north, there is flooding in the north and people have been displaced a town in the east is referred to as kidnap city because kidnappes ahve become the law over there armed robbers have also become the law in this same town. the presidents wife is giving out bags of rice. the country is investing 17 billion in 'jubilee celebrations'
how do you spell failing state? Most of these problems are internal like cholera, kidnapping, restlessness in the north. . .terrorism can be viewed as a global threat. Too much for Nigeria in my opinion. |

PO Chikero: I was there , I was ashamed for her really because it was a case of fish swimming outside the water. singing is not and can never be an omotola thing. though she performed with a live band which i think is a plus for her but the music thing is not for her. the show lacked the presence of nollywood faces except stella and chidi mokeme, it was a nollywood desert! it seems that she doesn't have nollywood friends which i think is very bad. Really? because Linda Ikeji said she sang very well. . . |
