The same board will b d one conducting nscdc screening and documentation
As i was told said dey will start communicating to us dis week that what i was told last week
While I pray they contact us this week, I also don't think they will. The issue on ground now and the major concern of this government is #ENDSARS

Let's pray it doesn't affect the whole thing. Yesterday, i chatted an officer who works in the recruitment board and he told me nothing Is currently happening in regards to the nscdc recruitment.

He said its only the Correctional Service that just got documented and will soon be off for training. I just weak.

FG allocates ₦9.3bn for ‘software acquisition’ in Immigration
vanguardngr.com Oct 10, 2020 7:37 PM
The federal government has earmarked over ₦9.31 billion in the proposed 2021 national budget for the acquisition of “computer software” by the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS.

The service had few years ago digitised most of its processes including payments to minimise extortion by criminal elements.

President Muhammadu Buhari had last Thursday presented the 2021 appropriation bill of N13.08 trillion to a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The Immigration Service will also spend over ₦97.78 million on monitoring and evaluation and another ₦207.5 million on the ongoing reactivation of surveillance aircraft as well as purchase of aircraft maintenance kits.

The service has a total recurrent cost of ₦56.2 billion and a capital expenditure of over ₦16.64 billion in the appropriation bill.

For the Nigerian Correctional Service NCoS, the federal government is proposing to spend over ₦4.31 billion on the ongoing construction of a 3,000 capacity Model Prison in Kano, Abuja, Boro and Damaturu; additional cells in Maiduguri New Prison, construction of 14 satellite prisons and barracks in Nafada, Bagoro, Kubacha, Tambuwal, Gwaram and Birnin Kudu as well as the completion of prisons nationwide.

Also, the ongoing replacement and maintenance of farm equipment and machineries for mechanised farm production would gulp over ₦580.9 million, while the procurement of Pick-up Vans, Mini Maria, Green Maria, Ambulance, Jeep, Sewage trucks, Water Tanker, Sedan Cars and supply two coaster buses to Kachina and Kagoro prisons is to gulp ₦1.14billion.

On its part, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC was allocated ₦81.9 million for teg procurement of dog handling equipment as well as feeding and maintenance of dogs.

The corps was also allocated ₦232.42 million for the purchase of arms, ammunitions and system management, and another ₦1.7 billion for teg purchase of operational pick-up vans.

The Federal Fire Service FFS was allocated ₦170.43 million for another ₦ purchase of motor vehicles and ₦2.89 for the purchase of fire fighting equipment.

The service also has a proposed budget expenditure of ₦91.72 million for “kitting of armed forces personnel”.

The sum of ₦130.9 million was also earmarked for recruitment and appointment (provision for feeding and logistics of new intakes training) as well as another ₦69.75 million for procurement of “necessary furniture and replacement of bad furniture for headquarters, 12 zonal commands, states command and stations across the nation.

All four paramilitary services are under the Ministry of Interior whose total proposed budget, including those of the services and the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board was put at ₦271,666,471,225.

Mr fact
Your second to last paragraph, who is recruiting? I thought nscdc 2019 funds for recruitment has already been released?

If the funds for recruitment in your second to last paragraph is for nscdc recruitment, then wahala dey be that o. That means the looooong wait wey we don wait never even start be that.

Yeah, Nigerian Christianity is a dry joke.. a caricature of a religion..
The last time I checked, Pagans have no say in religious matters since they don't belong to any religion, don't believe in GOD and therefore don't have a spiritual life...

I therefore wonder what pains you about Christianity that preaches love.

I know you're hiding under the Toga HappyPagan but you're from that religion that say they're for 'piss' but go about fighting and killing for their god.

Anyways, Christianity isn't a religion, its a way of life. So please, carry your pitiable paganistic personae outta here.

I honestly think nscdc isn't ready to complete the recruitment process this year.

Nigerian Correctional Service has just finished their first recruitment training last month and now again released their supplementary list for documentation and training. But nscdc never even release shortlist.

I think nscdc is the worst, disorganized arm of service in the ministry of interior.

Good morning Family.... i hope everyone of us had a wonderful night rest and woke up fine?

Please pardon my long post,.... thanks for understanding.

Below is the response I got from the PA on digital matters to the senator representing my zone when I told him of how I lost my job. He's a very good man and I became friends with him on Facebook even before his appointment.

Guys, how best do I use this lifeline? I am currently in Lafia, Nasarawa state where I used to work before my company recently laid off some of us sighting economic reasons. But I'm relocating to Abuja the week we're entering for job search. Now my eyes are on FG job because sincerely, most company jobs are unsecured in this part of the world.

Please I'm confused on how best to use this opportunity as all through my life, I've never worked for government, only for financial institutions. I don't know how the government job hunting works.

Please help me with best ideas to explore this opportunity below.

Below is the response I got from the Senator's PA on Social Media when I told him of my job loss and desire that he uses his Boss's influence to help me secure a new one. Kindly Scroll done to see his response.

""I'm sorry about your job loss, God will help you get another one. Be on the lookout for opportunities, if you see any and you apply let us know. And if you need recommendation letter to any organization, you can also let us know. The pandemic really caused a lot of setback for us but we will pull through.

Don't give up!""

That's it up there Guys, how best do I utilize this opportunity? Thanks in anticipation of your advice.

Breaking: *Interior Ministry New Permanent Secretary Resumes.*

The Federal Government has deployed Dr Shuaib Belgore as the new Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior.
Assuming duty on Wednesday, Dr Belgore said he would set up a fitness regime through the promotion of extra-curricular activities aimed at enhancing staff performance in the discharge of their duties, in line with the Ministry’s mandate.

According to him, “I will set up a fitness regime here through the promotion of extra-curricular activities so as to bring out the sportsman in you. To this end, I intend to ensure a monthly walking-jogging exercise in the Ministry for everyone so as to keep staff fit to enable them to deliver on our mandate which is ensuring internal security and citizenship integrity”.
Belgore who applauded the ministry for its efforts at digitising processes said he would further improve staff competence in information technology through the provision of additional gadgets and working tools for enhanced work performance.

The new Permanent Secretary took over the mantle of leadership from Mrs Georgina Ehuriah-Arisa who retired after putting 36 years of service to her fatherland.
He commended the outgoing Permanent Secretary, for her contributions to the successes achieved by the Ministry.
While he described her as a model of efficiency to be emulated by public servants, Belgore assured that he would build on the legacies of staff welfare, efficient service delivery and excellence as demonstrated by Ehuriah during her tenure in office.
Earlier, the outgone Permanent Secretary, Georgina Ehuriah encouraged staff to support her successor, Dr Belgore by putting in their best.

“Don’t compromise or derail the system, support your principals, the new Permanent Secretary and the Minister, to achieve the deliverables of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration in line with the mandate of the Ministry,” she said.

Yiu are very right... Most times, the so called PAs to these senators dish out recommendation letter so you stop bugging them. They will later take the information you gave as regards the recruiting agency for personal purposes. The Senator /Hon. Never follows up. quote author=Mtschewwww post=94480781]
1- If the senator has a good relationship with whoever heads the agency or any of the board members of the agency, it would be honored.
2 - They don't need to ask for credentials before sending it to the agency as long as there is a letter of recommendation attached to it.
You must ensure that you get back an acknowledged copy of the letter from the agency and give the copy to whoever recommended you. You need tell him or her to call whoever heads that workplace on your behalf..(follow up). If your connect has no access to the agency, you need get the contact of the head of the agency for your job-pursuit journey to be smooth. Finally, pray that God favors you.
There are cases where you get contacts of a DG and give to a senator (your connect), he uses the contact to build relationship, get slots to assist close family members thereby ignoring you. Am telling you from experience.
God nogo shame us o.

Good evening house.

Please i have two questions viz:

1--- Can a letter of recommendation from a senator to an agency whose committee he doesn't belong to, be honored?

2--- Do we submit a letter of recommendation alongside photocopies of our credentials to an organization doing replacement or its they'll need to ask for the credentials before we submit?
