How long does this rejection come after interview... come in a mail like AM too?

No, they don't send emails, instead they return your original documents between 7-10 working days after your visa interview. That's if you're being denied.

What is the reason for your rejection?

Bro,

The reason most times is always the same.

"There are (serious) doubts concerning your intended purpose to travel for studies."

The mostly used the word "serious" especially when they are in extreme doubt, then they use the word serious. Like under performing at the interview, failure of the written test, amongst others

Woah!!! Amazing, you did quite a great justice to most of my shared concerns, I dunno how to thank you well enough for the effort and time you made out to beat my worries.

Now I understand better and hey! to whom it may concern, this is an open proposal, let's get married already before I got caught up in the web of underpayment in Germo grin

However, I'll appreciate it again if u can touch the area I mentioned about a more fairer location that could be recommended as a best pick for choice of school with an exemption of Eastern Germany.

My apologies if I stress you any further.

Seven Blessings @dolpaz

Master,

Your response is funny grin wink

Anyway, I only know of Hildesheim for MSc in Data Analytics.

Sincerely speaking, those are just names. Your experience and what you have to offer is actually paramount to the Germans. Fine, you have a good interest in data analytics, but you can also learn this while studying International Management, Information systems, International business with Informatics and other courses related to management or Sciences. I know that schools in Canada, USA, UK, Australia offers these specialized courses in droves but Germany is just more of engineering.

Moreso, Germany has everything to make you succeed if you pursue the goal. I have worked with quite some big companies and I can tell you that what you study at the Uni may be different from your normal day to day routine. I have seen a Software developer becoming a Risk analyst, I have seen a chemical engineer student become a Business Intelligence consultant, and so on. At times, we have to weigh our options and pick the best for ourselves

So, what I´m saying in Essence is to get a study place, develop yourself thru various online medium, participate in meet-ups, go for internship to help strengthen your data analytics skills using R-Studio, Python, JupiterLab, and other Data Minning and Analytics software.. ofcourse, I´m also not a Fan of the eastern part of Germany... Lol... No offence to the East-siders though but look through the western part, they have more schools than any region in Germany. Also, look at the Northern and the southern part. I bet you´ll find lots of school and courses that would suit your need.

I wish you all the best in your pursuit bro.

Hello guys, thanks for your wonderful contributions they've been really helpful.

Please I wish to ask what's the procedure to appeal a rejection?
Is there anyone that has appealed and later got visa? Your kind responses will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Bro/Sis,

To appeal a rejection, you have to write a Remonstration letter stating why your visa should be approved.

I have helped lots of people to the Glory of God and 70% of them made it.

Maybe you should send me a message so that I can help you with the solution I profer.

Pls o...I got a question to ask...I've been nurturing the ambition to study my M.sc in Germany since 2yrs back but due to lack of funds I was taken aback sad

Hitherto, as it were I'm a summer 2020 hopeful and I really wanna give it my all this time around.

However, I'm a bit sceptical about my age and marital status(34 & single) embarassed whether they may cause an impedimemt or limit my chances to get an admission or Visa with regards to these two major factors(status) and frankly speaking I won't be getting married anytime soon tho shocked grin

By the way I'd be gunning for Business Intelligence & Data Analytics.

Howbeit, viable suggestions from a German Residence with vast knowledge about choice of school apart from Eastern Germany in relation to my intended course would be very much appreciated by doing justice to my mystery in view of the above.

N.B : I've done my own research as well, gone thru daad.de...I only need a first hand info based on experience...dasall.

Thanks in advance smiley

Hi Bro,

The race is not for the faint hearted. well-done. I hope summer will click for you.

However, The V.O does not care about your age. even if you´re 40, there´s no problem. You only have to explain to the V.O what you have been doing in the past years. make sure you have an up to date CV when applying.

Moreso, you´re going for a nice course and you should have no problem. but ensure you start learning German in order to speed up your chances of getting a Job.

Now, at 34 you´re single and have gotten a job, please know that you´ll be paying almost 35% of your salary into taxes for being single to the German Government. you won´t understand this until you get a job that pays you around 4k euros, and you end up getting 2,450 in your account. The tax get reduced if you´re legally married and gets further reduced if you have a kid, and so on.

Getting your choice Lady is kinda hard to find here in Germany, unlike UK, US. everyone is hustling to make ends needs. Its your choice not to marry and I respect your opinion but my honest advice to you to make hay while the sun shine.

Cos when you come here, you´ll want to settle in with lectures, language barrier and also find jobs to survive. Its sometimes depressing here but as a Naija guy, you should be fine.

Anyway I wish you all the best and hope to see you in DE

With this new developement, This is how it´ll span out

If you have done your interview already and awaiting AM, then you´ll likely be affected in many ways.

1) The embassy would likely start giving out visa for Winter from 3rd week of august. the reason is that some schools are still on Summer session and most schools finishes summer by July 31st. and resumes by the 2nd-3rd week in Sept. Hence, you could be asked to resubmit the blocked account with 10k. That means Even if you have submitted your passport and insurance for visa and it spans across sept, you´ll still be asked to resend a blocking confirmation of 10k.

2) If peradventure you escape Lagos and land in DE, you can´t escape the 10k unless you come in Before Sept 1, get an accommodation from naija and change your status instantly which I think is very rare. Cos you´ll still have to battle with enrolment, settling down, insurance bills and so on. so, when you go for residency permit extension, as a first-timer in DE, you´ll be asked to resubmit the new blocking confirmation because you would have fallen into the bounded date (Sept 1) as Its a government regulation and nothing can be done about this.

At the moment, I doubt if anyone coming for winter will escape this new development. My advice for anyone and everyone is to have the seperate balance readily available incase of emergency. I know things are tough but with God, all things are possible.

Keep up the spirit guys..

Hello guys really like this thread , please I want to make some inquiries concerning admission in Germany, I want to do masters in automation or mechatronics I have hnd in elect/elect with 2.86 cgpa and also Pgd in information technology, I want to know if there are schools that accept me, thanks

None bro..

Your HND is not enough for Msc, while PGD is not recognized in Germany.

Germany will only accept you for another Bsc with your HND.. Sorry about this, but that´s the way it is with Nigeria education standard

Come and contribute your own o smiley

In my city, (Essen) The duration you get depends on the officer in charge. But trust me, the women at Essen Auslanderbehorde are what we call (Awon Iya mi Oshoronga grin grin). They don´t smile and they´ve given students 3months, 6months, and some residency without work permit for not getting the required grades in school. The men are nice and friendly. But generally, Essen grants 2 years.

Other cities that Grant 2years in NRW are

Mulheim
Oberhausen
Paderborn
Monchegladbach
Moers
Kleve
Munster
Essen
Bonn
Hamm
Kresi Wesel (1yr at first, then 2 yrs afterwards)

But most times, the officer attending to you is the key

Dude as long as your salary is routed through your tax number to your account, the Finanzamt knows everything. Once you surpass the threshold they will call. So your friend is not telling everything.

Not only Finanzamt, The Auslanderamt knows every penny that comes to your account in as much you submit your tax number. They seems to have centralized their system now and this is how I noticed:

Initially, most employers will ask you to submit Polizeiliche Fuhrungszeugnisse (Police Character Report). You can get this by going to the Rathaus. But nowadays, most (if not all) employers can easily access your police report from a central Portal.

My advice to you guys over working is to be careful and thread softly. I have some guys who got mails from the Finanzamt asking them to explain why they over worked and this is a big offence because the auslander can cancel your residency permit having violated the § 16 law. you can type this into google (aufenthaltsgenehmigung § 16 and read in english to know more). The auslander could also decide to give you a resident permit without allowing you to work. I have seen this couple of times and it ain´t funny.

As for the 10,000 euros in a year....hmmmm, what else can I say undecided undecided undecided
