Awilibogy:
Good morning House, I studied Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) majored in microbiology in University of Benin, with a GPA of 2.7, I was denied master admission a few weeks ago in a German university, because I didn't do any biomedical science courses, can someone please recommend a school that will my GPA, and also if I should apply for another Bachelor's will my age (30 years) count in getting visa, please guys I need your help. Thanks in advance.
Hello Bro,

Your 2,7 is equivalent to 2,7 also in Germany. but most german institution requires at least a 2,5 german grading in order to have a chance of being admitted. and that's equivalent of 2,88 Nigerian CGPA. Nevertheless, you can still get admitted to courses which are not restricted, also you need a strong motivation letter couple with work experience (If you have).

But its possible. just search wide and don't limit yourself to a particular field

All the best!

So guys, I seems to be having issues here. I can't apply with my HND for a master's program however I'm thinking of using my OND transcript to process BSC, my HND transcript is not ready for now ...Do you think it will be possible for me ??

Or what other solutions can you guys suggest ... I'm really down I can't believe I wasted 5years in school to get to this dead point. Your advice is needed ...I need to leave 9ja thie year
Bro, you don´t need to be down. That's the current situation of our educational system. truthfully speaking, you can't even get admitted for Msc into Nigerian universities without a PGD, talkless of gaining admission into a foreign Uni with HND.

So the answer is a NO. just zero your mind away from Msc for now and focus on starting a Bachelors.

Going further, your OND is not sufficient to apply for Bachelors here. you need at least your HND results and certificate to get started. by the way, what did you study in your HND ?

Send them a mail requesting a date and at the same time try and get a date on the portal.

Mail the school for an extension or worst case scenario defer your admission.

Those are your options...

AM takes 4 to 6 weeks and could be ready in a few days (7 days response has been reported) especially if you fund before the interview.........

All the best!!!
Brotherly,

Interview on the embassy portal was last dated April 4th as at last week..

I don´t think he could get something favourable except someone cancels his/her booking

Please we want to hear the truth .... Make you no vex.
Na so them make jigba, dailydolar and others vex commot.
Not just Jigba, alot of guys have left this forum because of our "I too know" attitude.

I never attacked anyone I wrote in parables but you know, not everyone takes his/her time to understand some stuffs, so instead they think otherwise.

The girl who posted about schools that issues Bsc admission without Ielts or toefl was asked to drop the schools and she chickened out.

Am not perfect neither do I know all but when I drop hints here, it's based on real time experience and not hear say. Talk is cheap and anyone can say anything he likes. I shared lots of information here about the best way of getting permanent resident permit, an EU blue card, amongst others. Nobody forced me but I decided to give back. It's a matter of choice, lots of people have passed thru this forum and when they hit DE, reality face them hence no time for NL.

So please, appreciate every single information posted here and let's learn to judge without sentiments

Y'all should learn to skim thru profiles before making degraded comments. Who told you am looking for admission, I have been thru most stages anyone here must have been thru and am here to help by giving back. Eke, Obiwan, pompido, HonSeyi and co are my witness. I have other commitments but since y'all don't wanna hear the truth, I'll let it be.

There are about 5 schools that accept letter of English proficiency , but having the english test ups your game.
Did you read well before quoting me or you just want to prove a point.

I said Bsc and not Msc. If you mean Bsc, well it'll be tough because they uses point for test of english than letter of proficiency.

It'll be nice if you can post the names of the schools and courses.

It's easy for a donkey to pass through a needle than for a Bsc applicant to get admitted without test of English. Just do it and you'll not regret. Remember, you still have blocked account, interview fees, flight fees etc to battle. All the best

My post wasn't about asylum seekers..It is directed to international students on this trend that wanna seek better life in Germany..Student visa remains the best way to migrate to Germany,Canada and U.S.A ..There is a big difference between an asylum seeker and an international student..
Currently,Germany is in need of skilled labour and for anyone that wanna obtain Bsc or Msc in Deutschland, this is the right time to move....GERMANY NEEDS YOU to fill the vacancies in the labour market..Learn the language to at least A2 and you will be fine..Viel Erfolg..!!!!
Bro, stop sweet talking this thing and making it look as if everyone that jumps into Germany will get a full time Job on arrival. There are alot of things which will be considered when getting a FULL-TIME Job and not Werkstudent/Lager... Please read my previous post to have a good understanding of getting a full time Job here.

Did you read the highlighted part...?

Countries that have so much Asylum seekers may not benefit from the scheme.

Me and you know that lots of Nigerians are on the waiting queue for asylum. Moreso, most application have been denied while lots are still waiting for a decision to be made. Whether you are a student or not does not change anything.

So lets just hope and pray that Nigeria is not in the list to be excluded

Hello guys pls i need urgent info.I just completed a professional masters degree in engineering in nigeria and am interested in working in germany as there are lots of enginnering jobs there.Ive been searchng for engineering jobs in germany online and get many daily engineering jobs update. Is it possible to get enginnering jobs in germany from nigeria here? and if yes whats the process like and how long before being approved visa. Also is there any way one can travel for professional skill training in germany in order to increase chances of getting jobs there.
Frankly speaking, Getting an engineering job from Nigeria is tough but doable. Alot would have to be considered.

First, you need to have good working experience with verifiable projects. For a German company to employ you from naija means they have not gotten any application from people within and around EU, hence the reason why they are considering your application. What makes it more challenging is the fact that the company have to go through the Job center (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) to register your coming, prepare the documents and give you a contract WITHOUT knowing what your deliverables are. I hope you get this.

Now, lets assume you have a contract, the dangerous part of the work visa applicant is that if the auslander/embassy rejects your visa application, you could also receive a ban for some number of months...(Yet to verify this though) so look through and weight your option. I'm not saying people dont get jobs from Nigeria. At least, I know 3 guys that came for IT jobs.

Moreso, you need to have a certain level of german language to help you with settling down.

Lastly, you can't use a conference/visit visa to work because its a short term thingy.

For you to work, you need a TaxID, Renten (Social insurance) which will never be given to a short stay visitor..

My advice, if you have the resources, apply for a student, integrate into the soceity and when you get a job here, you can change your permit to working visa.

I hope I'm able to communicate.

Gemeinsam sind wir starke

Hey guys! I want to fund my Blocked Account (Fintiba) I was asked at GTbank to open an Euro(€) Account, Transfer Naira into it and then transfer it into my Fintiba Account. It sounded kinda complicated. I no go lie I feel like the guy doesn’t know what he’s saying. Please those of you that funded from naija especially GTBank or FirstBank how did y’all go about it.
If you have a zenith bank account, go to the head office, they'll fund your account and Its more cheaper than aboki.

First bank won't transfer into your personal account.

Access and eco bank do transfer into personal account too for funding.

All the best !

My people,

The journey has not been funny for me....

Had my interview 6th September with a funded block Account....

Untill now, I haven't received an AM.

Emailed both my allien office and Federal office, they said my application has been concluded, and that the embassy will get to me.

Have sents tons of email to the embassy yet no response.

Please what should I dohuh
You guys should stop bombing the embassy with emails.

They see it as a desperate act and would end up blocking/marking your email as spam.

That´s why most of you send emails and they dont reply. Just send an email once a week and stop sending multiple emails.

You could have been marked as spam and they´ll get back to you when they feel like. Most times, the embassy can be so unprofessional but we need to just give them time. I can imagine the waiting period though.

God will intervene

Bro, i don't think you can appeal a rejected study visa. I was once a victim due to absence of proof of finance before a deadline given to me by d embassy.
Rejection/Denial is not delay/Defeat.

I have gone through the process and likewise many others on this platform and we scaled through by his grace.

A student visa can be appealed and decision overturned. I posted something on this page

1) My cgpa is 3.54/5.00 converted to a german grade according to uni assist is 2.09
2) Electrical and electronics engineering
3) To be honest, i cant really count the number of courses i applied to..i applied to communication engineering at TUM, Kassel, Tu ilmenau..applied to information engineering at HS rhein waal, applied to communication systems and networks at technical university of cologne. So many of them my brother.
4) aunthenticated transcripts, certificate, reference letters(not all requires reference letters), english lang proficiency letter, SOP, etc
Its really unthinkable that you have 6 rejections with these Cgpa even when people with far lesser cgpa are nipping it. You have a good grade to get admitted into most Msc studies but the honest truth why you´ve been denied admission is because of language proficiency letter.

Most of the schools you listed up there requires IELTS. These schools instructs Uni-assist to process duly completed applications with all the required certificates submitted. so before Uni-assist process/forwards your documents, they run a thorough check on your documents and on seeing language profiency letter, they abruptly declined your applications.

My advise to any and everyone who wants to apply to study here is to try and get all the required certificates. Running away from IELTS would always bring about these kind of heartbreak at times. If you can spend close to 135€ for applying to schools, what´s stopping you in taking the pain to attempt ielts.. A simple 6.0 would have landed you series of admissions. Knowing fully well that there´s blocked account to be funded, I believe as little as 75,000 (160€) should not be a problem. I know its really challenging coughing out these cash but whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well.

My candid advice to you:

You are almost there...

Try and attempt IELTS before september ending, then fire your application for summer.

I can assure you that your admission will fall through and you´ll be here for summer.

wishing you all the best !

Can you give me the site? Also, i applied to sub courses too. Uniassist failed to send my docs to the designated schools stating that i dont have a solid undergraduate background.

2) What´s your first degree ?

3) Which courses are you applying to ?

4) Which documents did you apply with ?

Kindly answer these questions then we´ll take it from there !
