4dor:He´s actually right. Let allows you to declare variable for a "Local Scope" While var can be used to declare variable "Globally" Since Javascript has lots of children.. E.g Node, Angular, Ecmascript, React, Typescript, e.t.c the way these Frameworks declares variables tends to differs. Javascript these days self is now confusing but we ain´t got no choice than to tilt along. for example: Using Let let beebee = 'foo'; let beebee= 'bar'; // Throws a Syntax Error because an Identifier 'beebee' has already been declared Using Var var 9ja= 'foo'; var 9ja= 'bar'; // This runs without a problem, reason because the previously assigned value in `9ja` will be replaced with the new declaration. So he´s right As for the array, how else does one declare Array in Javascript.. Ayam lost here, maybe you can enlighten us more.. ![]() We are already deviating.. This is not a programmer´s thread biko...! |
Chichaope:I know some guys and a babe there.. Since your sex is encapsulated.. are you a dude or babe so I can know how to forward you to him/her But Jena is also a nice city with surrounding cities like leipzig, thuringia and weimar. So hustling should not be an issue. just that you´ll travel some few kilometers to major city to work. All the best |
MaroCruz:The German statement above is being announced in the train heading to Siegen. and on getting to Siegen Hbf (Hauptbahnhof) also known as train station, The announcement is clearly played for everyone to exit the train because Its the last stop. As for the Foreign office, they mostly ask students to come with 20 credit points for extension. This gives them a sign that you´ve been attending classes and exams. All the best ! |
Chriswazo:Good morning... Not all schools defer admissions. and the ones that defer, does this with exceptional cases like visa delay. and the max a school will defer will be till summer and not till winter (I Stand corrected though). So if the course is available in summer, you could push in for it Regards |
Natalife:1) Go to the German embassy website, the required documents have been uploaded for your perusal 2) Anyone can fund your account even your enemy. The koko is to have the funds in your account.. NB: its not compulsory to fund before the interview but funding will give you an edge. 3) No, it wont affect Goodluck |
Kenthumphz:Hmm... Siegen and those strong headed people at the Auslanderbehorde. Well, the problem with Siegen according a friend like a brother is "Die zug ended dort, Alles Fahrgäste musst aussteigen "Siegen is like a dead-end of NRW and from where I live, the train comes every hour. Yes, its a small city but as 9ja, we can hustle anywhere to make ends meets. It could be tough and challenging to Live 2 hrs away from school esp if you´re having 8:15am lectures. In order words, Siegen is in NRW which has big cities Like Dusseldorf, Koln, Essen, Dortmund, Duisburg, Paderbon, Munster just to mention a few. You can always get job in these cities but the distance ehn.. Baba your body go hear am eh. As for frankfurt, I have been there for a couple of times and its actually more of Business and economics activities with lots of opportunities too. I don´t know much about frankfurt so cant say much. Weight your options and also try applying to other schools with similar courses in NRW. But if siegen is what you have, you can come in, start studies and if its not favourable to you, you can change course, school and cities.. All the best bro ! |
mayorelnino:I´ll drag an old NL here who will share his Canadian experience and also make similarities between the two countries. we chatted at length but it´ll be nice to hear from the horses mouth.. So stay tuned ! |
willy2000:You have a syntax error there.. But its a fine code which will run.. Good job. better pikin. You sha wan be like your master ![]() |
bochu03:In Nigeria, use IGI, Leadway, Mansard, e.t.c 6 months should be around 21k but you can always call them for more info |
okpala95:See this guy.. smh Please stop the assumption. This is someone studying Msc informatik in German and who has a C1/C2 German knowledge..! Dont be too quick to judge bro ! |
willy2000:Ja, auf jedenfall |
Gent009:Hi, Let me take my time to explain some of the process of obtaining PR "According to my City" and with the best of my knowledge. First, you need to understand that there´re certain courses that get you jobs faster. If your´re studying a STEM course, then you´re qualified to access the job market easily. STEM means Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. However, you need to have some good command of German even if you work with a Multinational firm. I worked with one and I know why am saying this. I´ll paint the real and true story here without mincing words. First, some German does not believe blacks can attain some position and also engage in some challenging task. they get awed when they see blacks over perform at work place especially in Medicine, IT, Engineering. I think they believe our background is not strong enough or something. More-so, their orientation is that most "LAGER" jobs are meant to be done by blacks maybe because of our strength and of course the money involved... I mean working with company like Benz, VW, Amazon, these guys pays really good but they´ll stretch you to the limit. don´t get swayed, a black working in the Office settings is achievable but you have to be on top of your game. LAGER = FACTORY ** Secondly, When it comes to full time jobs not Aushilfe, or Werkstudent or Holiday jobs which every student can get easily, we are at the bottom ebb of the employment chain. Especially if you have your first degree in another country and perhaps have a Msc in Germany, they tend to consider Germans first, followed by EU candidates, then students with German Arbitur (whether Africa or Asia) because the German Arbitur(Bsc) is very challenging coupled with some technical courses. This they believe would have given you a solid background. Then comes the Americans, Canadians, Asians (Chinese, Japan, e.t.c) South Asian, Africans in that pecking order. Getting a full time jobs allows you access to some financial opportunities like house and car loans and so much but still, Its doable and you´ll have to be well knowledgeable in your field. Now this is where German knowledge plays an important role.. you´re in the office and the Germans are gossiping about you and how they want to frustrate you out of the office, you can easily intercept/decode the communication easily and perhaps escalate it further. Lots happens in the office. though, I have never experience any but I hear stories. The moment you make a little mistake, they report to the boss and its all in GERMAN. They´ll come back laughing with you but hey, you´re being crucified behind closed doors. Also, emails, news and Ads will all be in German and you´ll not like to bore your colleague by always asking him to translate for you cos he´s also on a tight deadline.. you could use google translate but at times, the translation may be wrong and you could be carrying the wrong message. So biko if you have the time and wanna settle here.. LEARN GERMAN LANGUAGE. ITS THE MEAL TICKET HERE !!! So after getting a job in your FIELD OF STUDY you need to pay your taxes, Insurance and Socials consecutively into the German system for Minimum of 24 months. This will obviously grant you a Niederlassungserlaubnis (Also known as Permanent Resident Permit). But prior to getting the Niederlassung, you can get the so called EU blue card with your job contract. This would allow you to work anywhere in Europe. But its advisable to work in Germany and pay your taxes right there so you can get the PR. If you work in another EU country, then your PR could be extended. The EU blue card can be requested for immediately you get a FULL-TIME job with 40 hours per week and minimum of a certain income.. I think from 2200€ per month after every deductions have been made. Thirdly, if you are not in the STEM category but would love to earn a PR, you can also work as a Freelancer after your study but in your FIELD. Ensure you have a proof of constant remittance of taxes and socials into the German system for 2 years and you can go ahead to apply. Germany does not joke with taxes and they frown deeply at defaulters. Its not rocket science but people are getting it and Nigerians especially. I need to state here that the system and Law is very complicated and even Germans working in the Auslanderbehorde gets confused. Just do the needful and never try to circumvent or bypass the system. Lastly, ensure you keep a clean RECORD, don´t dent your Police Character report also known as Führungszeugnis. Once dented, it´s a stigma for life which will follow you everywhere you go. Don´t bypass Taxes, avoid jumping trains and tram without a valid ticket, don´t get into trouble. Live a simple and God fearing life, respect the law, Ignore mofo´s and Racist everywhere you find them and remember to reference God in everything. May God bless our hustle I drop my Pen here....! Wishing everyone Success Gemeinsam sind wir starke !!! Together we are Strong !!! |
Berliner1:Lol.. mad courses.. Out of the 2 guys that left, one of them is on this thread... Bro, we get yarn oo.. I go call you |
Berliner1:Bro, you sef confirm say Rhine-Waal na tough school right ? |
Hayor4real:Bros, did you study your first degree in German or english.. Your answer will determine if it´ll be tough or hard.. Because studying Engineering in English is tough not to talk about studying in German which is not your official Native language. So think about it.. and Yes, I have/know couple of guys that studies Engineering in Msc but you can always ask your question here so others can learn |
cronsberg:First of all, Germany does not offer any PGD or pre-masters courses. so zero your mind on that. However, Its not about your class of degree but your Grade point average. If you have some work experience, you could try lots of school. but obviously not the Core Technical Computer science courses. Cos that would not be visible. You can try applying to courses like Information systems, Data Science, Data analytics, Digital media, e.t.c couple with a strong motivation letter and work experience. But Information engineering, Computer science, Software engineering is a no-no simply because of your grade. anyway, visit daad.de to list some course which might interest you and contact the programme officer. Also, dont limit your search to Msc alone, try check for some Bsc courses which you find interesting. Perhaps if you start another Bsc, you could end up transferring some credit/courses which you´ve successfully passed in Nigeria. This will reduce the workload on you and give you ample time to focus on other tasking things. Gemeinsam sind wir starke ! |
Hayor4real:DO you really wanna study Engineering at the Msc level after studying in English ? perhaps you have a C1 in German Ja ? All the Best |
Dammy112:1) Go to Ikeja high court and certify it. if you´re gonna use those road side guys, make sure its a NOTARY PUBLIC office. ensure your documents is signed and stamped with seal... 2) Go to WAEC office at ogba... |
saxony2018:Sorry, this question keeps escaping me.. I noticed the others have been attended to except the Uk funding.. The German embassy recognize three means of Funding... 1) Blocked Account 2) Sponsorship letter from a working German resident permit holder 3) Deutschlandstipendium or Scholarship.. So to answer your question in a giffy, Since you intend using a Uk company, the embassy will ask you to inform the company to transfer the required amount into your blocked account as a proof of funding. Since the course is an executive masters. But I think there are exceptions. This can only happen if your intending school interferes with the process and assures the embassy of the fund (Which is very rare in most cases because all these schools don´t want to interfere with the embassy bureaucracy) Since the company has a joint partnership with your prospective school, I think something could still happen but in most cases, the company will be asked to fund your blocked account for studies purposes. I hope this is well explained...! |
osifo4ever:8640 + 150 processing fees. = 8790 so just put 8800 or more Its still your money |
Berliner1:Fehler: Hannover is in Lower Saxony and not Baden wurttemburg So he´s excluded from the Mandatory 1500 schools fees. Let me burst your bubble guys. It´s likely gonna get touger coming to germany from next winter because there´s a serious debate of introducing tuition fees in NRW. Knowing fully well that NRW has the most schools in Germany. what does this translate to? This means that other universities in other state will receives almost tripple of admission request. Thereby forcing every other state to emulate the tuition fees. What does this bring to the table? It means you´ll have to pay a certain tuition fee of 1500€, Semester fees (differs from Uni to Uni) and so much more... This literally means you´ll have to cough out over 10,000€ for your emigration to Germany.. Phew ! Thats a huge sum of money right ?? I have joined my school and informed other students to sign the petition against the introduction. We are just hoping this does not materialize. Although, the tuition does not affect already enrolled students. So guys, brace up and make it on time before the big hammer lands ! Gemeinsam sind wir starke |

KendrickAyomide:You never reach Germany you don dey behave like this. Na people like you go enter Germany run. Experience is the best teacher so they say. Eke has been there for some years now and believe whatever he tells you, at least to a fault. I know him personally and he´s a cool dude who doesnt minx words together. That´s the reality, believe me, we are at the bottom ebb of the dating chain. you can choose to believe him or not but please dont discourage those who have strong interest. I´ll also share some useful tips on how to get EU Blue card.. |
Okikiayo1:Do you mean Nigerian 2,1 cgpa ? that should be around 3.4 german cgpa which in most cases is not sufficinent for a Msc programme |
Ayohbk:computer Sci/Maths I know more.. just that I´ve forgotten their names...! 3.61 is okay for any Msc in Germany |
Ayohbk:If you can get your Toefl before June 30, you can still make winter admission. apply to Rhine waal, Kiel for information engineering... But you need a german cgpa of 2,3 which equates to 3.2 Nigerian Cgpa How´s Dr Agunbiade, Mr Afuape, Dr Odetunde, Mrs Salako, Dr Rufai, e.t.c ![]() |
diggy4real:1) No, they are not suppose to be related but be sure to know the nitty gritty of your sponsor.. the embassy could ask funny questions like when did he travel, when was the last time you guys met, Is he married, If yes to who? why is he sponsoring you, what does he do, how much does he earn, where does he stays, for how long has he been in Germany, and so much more. 2) You only know you´ve scaled throught if your documents aren´t sent back to you after 7-10 working days.. that means your application could be forwarded to the foreigner´s office.. even though in some extreme cases, the auslander also denies a prospective student.. So its a 2-way hurdle.. when you scale over the embassy in Lagos, your documents will also undergo verification in your intending city before final consent. after your interview, go ahead and fund your account, If you´ve already funded, take out time to start learning GERMAN... and remember to PRAY.. 3) Yes, they can deny anyone if they find out that your true intention is not to study. whether you´ve funded or not... Phew.. I have taken a lot of time to read some messages and most of them have been answered.. Its been a loooong time since I posted here. work and studies have been hectic.. I just have to give back to the community that got my back some severals years ago Wishing everyone all the best |
otkings:I´d wanted to reply you yesterday but because I added a link, the spam bot blocked me.. 1) Yes, a permanent residency card holder or a German both of which must be working full time with an income of over 1500€ after taxes and all deductions. Please note: your sponsor may be limited if he´s married with kids. This is because his salary will be shared amongst his/her dependencies 2) This depends on the city.. some city requires you book an appointment while some are just walk in.. The sponsor gets the letter immediately after paying some fees and clearance. The is €25 3) Its verpflichtungserklärung.. you can check more pictures online... Just type "verpflichtungserklärung for studies" on google images. CAVEAT: Please know that lots of people are scared of helping with this letter. Unless a well knows family member. There´re lots of stuff about it which can´t be discussed online. This literally means your sponsor trusts you well and he can vouch for you to a large extent. But note that if you fall into any dispute either with the police or any offense, your sponsor will be questioned and he/she might end up loosing his residency.. ! All the best to all applicants ! |
Dammy112:Pm me...! I´ll help you with the transfer.. Regards |
gmode:High court Federal High court near you German embassy if you Reside in Lagos All the best ! |

Do German universities defer admission
