There's absolutely no excuse for domestic violence but one cannot predict another person's reaction. While the man should be convicted for assault, it's also important to know what the woman did for him to react that way, to prevent a reoccurrence with a different party. You can't always expect someone to ignore you and walk away when you misbehave. It's a two-way thing. If you do not want to be assaulted, refrain from getting on people's nerves. So yeah, the man is a beast but the woman had to learn her lesson the hard way (if she actually did something wrong). Please let's not be one-sided in judging a matter, it'll lead to more problems.
