Sadly a lot of Nigerian men believe fatherhood begins and ends with money. They hardly bond with their kids and are so strict on the kids that they successfully push them away. Some would rather spend on mistresses than on their families. These kids are not stupid, they're not blind. They're seeing everything. There's a limit to how much you can turn a child against his/her parent. They act/react based on what they've experienced

That said, it's absolutely wrong of Funke and siblings not to show up at their dad's funeral. He was their father, he deserved that last respect. I know of a man that abandoned his 8 kids for his wife to singlehandedly raise. All kids, now graduates and all doing very well turned up when he died and gave him a befitting funeral.

I think it's about the undersea internet cables that broke affecting internet of 12 African countries. Even though Nigeria was not listed, for the fact that MTN has released an apology shows Nigeria is among. Even me has been having tough time connecting with 9mobile since Thursday

This is an old story na. The girl didn't leave him because he was broke, she left him because he was insecure and often physically abused her. When a woman's fed up, there's nothing you can do about it. He just killed himself for nothing

My sister's line was reassign within a week, I swear. It was her main line, so she had to retrieve it but unfortunately she couldn't because someone else was already using it.

The person must have deliberately swapped the line or the network mistakenly swapped the line. I've seen a situation where someone went to swap her line and the network ended up giving her someone else's number, the only difference was an 8 in place of a 3 in the number. One misplaced digit can lead to disastrous consequences

That's how I bought airtel line last year from their office, registered the line and went home. Two days later, I decided to register whatsapp with the line, that evening that's how I received whatsapp message.

A guy threatening me, telling me I stole his one month old 2 weeks ago and I even have the guts to start using the phone with his sim.

He threatened me with God, Ogun, sango, Poseidon, Hades, Odin, Amadioha, police, army... dude literally threatened me with everything he could.

I tried convincing him it's a new sim I just bought and was even surprised receiving his message cuz I've not given that number out yet.

The guy wasn't listening, after threats he was even begging I returned his phone cuz he saved for over a year to get that phone and he only used it for 2 weeks.

It wasn't until I showed him the sim card with the number on it before he believed me.

I was so pissed I call Airtel Care Deck and served them their own portion of what the guy served me... still not satisfied: I headed straight to their office and served them deserts.

Imagine if I was caught with such line in public, how will I convinced them that I didn't steal the guy's phone?

Re-assigning SIM is really dangerous.

I don't believe this. Networks don't reassign numbers within a month of lack of activity on it. They block the line after six months, and may not recycle the line till a year later

I agree but people should try as much as possible not to deliberately break rules that could land them in hot mess. Driving one way is not a minor offense, it's very dangerous to pedestrians. A woman and her young children (the baby she was backing and the little one she was taking to school) were all killed at once by a reckless driver driving one way. If you're driving someone else's car, try to be as careful as possible and most importantly, don't deliberately break traffic rules.

RIP to Chima, I hope he gets his justice but we'll never know if this tradegy would have been avoided if only he kept to his side of the road.

This unfortunate incident would have been avoided if only they had driven on the right lane.

I don't understand how Uzodinma got declared winner when two other candidates got more votes than him. INEC and supreme court should come and explain how this got to be
