How can they meet in 2011 when she had the baby in May of same year? How rich or famous was Wizkid back in year 2010 that a girl barely out of her teens will want to use a baby to trap him? Mind you, she comes from a very well-to-do family and has her own business. So the assertion that she wants to use Wizkid as a meal ticket is very ridiculous. All these guys commenting trash about the girl must have either taken their girlfriends for abortions or put their girlfriends on postinor diets. They're far from saints themselves yet feel they have the moral rights to judge another person. Most of you guys don't realize that being a parent is far from financially contributing to the child's upkeep, your physical presence and attention to the child matters a lot. Just a simple phonecall or video chat will go a long way in bonding with his son and perhaps, the mum wouldn't have had to put up this cryptic message.

Wizkid is rich and famous now, who knows if he will still be 20+ years from now. That's when he will remember that he has children somewhere and he will want to start bonding with them. If the children wants nothing to do with him, it's this same bunch justifying his irresponsibility that will start spewing trash that it's the children's mum that turned the children from their dad. If karma is real, all deadbeat parents (mostly dads by the way) will get what they deserve.

From the responses on that post and this thread, it seems that's the norm. Relationships these days involves a sponsor and a glorified maid/bed warmer and very little about love and affection.

I'll pretend as if I didn't read the part that said "UK embassy" and assume this story is true. All I can deduce from the story is a low self-esteem girl who sees marriage to an abroad based man she has not seen physically as her only ticket to success. If all she wrote about her man's family is true and she still wants to marry into such family, then her desperation is legendary. A man that gives his people the avenue to resent and disrespect you is one a sensible person flees far from but this one is begging to marry him because she wants abroad husband. The most annoying part of the fake story is where her mother was begging the family to marry her. What kind of stupid desperation is that? She should be thanking her stars that she escaped a miserable union but sadly for girls like these, their achievements are based on marriage.
