Nairaland GeneralRe: Why Do Women Lie About Their Real Age? by dominobaby(f): 3:52am On Mar 26, 2006
I guess they don't like telling their real age so as not to be seen as 'old'. Women like feeling n 'being' young.

Music/RadioRe: 96.9 Cool FM Or Rhythm 93.7 FM: Which Is The Best? by dominobaby(f): 2:58pm On Mar 18, 2006
Hmm, I love this topic because am a radio freak and these two stations are my best! I have tried severally to know which i love but i found out that i love both stations for different reasons;

RHYTHM 93.7fm: They've got the presenters with the best voices, am talking JAJ, Tope Brown, Momoh Kubanji, Femi Showolu, Nanya. They've also got BAD jingles and i mean BAD cos they give me goose pimples wink. Just that they do not play ALL kinds of music.

96.9 COOL FM : They've also got nice presenters like Ebele, Dan Foster, Dare, Lakeside (Lekan Saheed actually grin). They play ALL sort of music and the few jingles they got too are sleek. Nice programs too.

I actually shuffle btw both stations,.
RomanceRe: Can Your Boyfriend/Girlfriend Search Your Phone? by dominobaby(f): 12:05pm On Mar 18, 2006
@spiky, i tell him things even before he goes thru ma phone ok. Just that some guys are so adamant n keep sending 'funny' n 'questionable' txt msgs.
FamilyRe: Boyfriend Spends So Much Money On Stay-at-home Mom by dominobaby(f): 6:29pm On Mar 17, 2006
Now this really is a dicey situation. You all have raised important questions which i think Unhappy has to give answers to. To me really i don't u should have moved in with his mom and hubby, like someone pointed out, u have 2 move out and earn your respect. If you guys love each other, or if U love him really, then i don't see any big deal in calling him and talking d whole thing together. This is something you are uncomfortable about, let him know with love, bearing in mind that the woman in question is his MOM.
FamilyRe: Kind of Husband or Wife You Aspire to Have? by dominobaby(f): 6:02pm On Mar 17, 2006
Ono, thanks 4 that piece of advice. I actually heard dat some years back at a youth programme n i've taken it upon maself 2 pray in that direction. Nevertheless, i've stil got sumthings i desire in a man: firstly he must b a spirit filled xtian, a man wu sees me as his wife 2 meet his deepest needs n not just a woman who'd give him 3 meals a day, clean clothes-a maid cud do that, a man who loves me enough 2 tell d truth at al tymes, who'd want me again and again, a man who'd literaly go 'crazy' if someone doesn't treat me right, I could go on and on
Music/RadioRe: Who Is The Best Presenter On Lagos Radio? by dominobaby(f): 8:39pm On Mar 16, 2006
Of dese two, i think i'l take Dan. Its more or less as if u are comparing Rhythm n Cool fm presenters which is a tough one 4 me. On Rhythm, i love JAJ- jacob akinyemi johnson, Nanya, Tope Brown n Femi Showolu. On cool f.m: Ebele n Dare
RomanceRe: Does Distance Matter In A Relationship? by dominobaby(f): 4:50pm On Mar 16, 2006
To me distance doesn't matter, everything 2 make it work is dependant on d parties involved. My man is in Kd while i am in IB, n its been almost like we r together, though there's nothn like being present, cos we talk on d phone everyday n communicate via text almost everynight, yes. He tries to come as often as chanced, so also myself. We love each other so much. My uncle wasn't in support of my dating someone far away cos he suffered it- she jilted him. It's got a lot 2 do with the parties involved, u've got to love n trust each other
RomanceRe: Can Your Boyfriend/Girlfriend Search Your Phone? by dominobaby(f): 4:28pm On Mar 16, 2006
Why on earth can't he go thru ma phone? He infact does, he goes thru it not 'search', especialy ma inbox, n in a few cases we've had 2 have 'little talks' bout d kind of msgs he reads der- i actually leave dem on ma phone for him 2 read dem n thereafta i delete dem. There's this trust n we so love each other n we aint got skeletons so it's no big deal. I cud even take tyme 2 explain al d names in ma phonebook if he wants me to. Yes!

Seun, how can i log on to Nairaland, there are no options for that when i get connected - http://wap.nairaland.com. Would love to sign in rather than just reading the text.

FashionRe: Ladies, Can You Leave Home Without Wearing Makeup? by dominobaby(f): 11:50am On Feb 20, 2006
Make up! Make up!! Make up!!!
What's the hulla ballo bout make up? I personally don't use make up and i don't consider Powder and lip gloss as part of making up.
I prefer being without make up cos am beautiful without it. Also after a lil while and its all gone, u would always want to redo it and all - i call that tiring.
Make up is make up whether light or heavy.
The thing is a lot of girls know they are finer without making up but because of peer pressure they do same. Oh yes! wink smiley

FamilyRe: Husband at Home While the Wife Works? by dominobaby(f): 1:14am On Dec 10, 2005
I once had this neighbour, the wife worked in a bank, while he ran his "Okada" business from home.
Now, i don't mean that he rides the motorcycle himself. He's got like 7 bikes being operated by different men and all he does is to go collect the returns (money)twice a week. Practically, he
is at home for the rest days of the week!
During the week, on school days, he takes the kids to and from school. They've got a househelp who does the house chores anyway.

So what do you guys say about this?
PhonesRe: All Vmobile Subscribers gets 2000 Naira Free by dominobaby(f): 10:54pm On Dec 09, 2005
Exactly. It is the KNOCK OUT PROMO. And you earn that N2,000.00 if and only if you load up to N15,000.00 from 1st June to December 2005.
But then a friend had only loaded N14,500.00 when she received the 2k!

(I just have 4,500.00 to load before the end of December to get my own share! cheesy)
