I have been confused for a while now when I saw some posts from people whose spouse has already gotten visa been rejected. For me , my wife already had gotten hers 2 weeks ago but I and the spouse did not apply together. We intend to apply in the coming weeks. What could be the reason for the rejection? Is there anything they didn’t do well? For us we wrote in my wife application that I will be applying alongside the kids and that the POF for ours will be in my account. Should we go ahead and apply or wait for her to enter Uk first before applying ? Who has ever applied after his spouse for a visa and got visa |

Did you read the message very well Pascalsmith: See how they just closed that road , why not Run your POF yourself, is better for UKVI to call and they told them the money is no longer there, maybe you removed the money earlier on atleast they will issue your refusal letter for not having sufficient fund that’s if they went ahead to verify balance than using fraudulent account |

Good day Fellow Nairalanders We are coming to Oxford Brookes in September. Family of 6. My wife is the Student. I noticed of late that housing is very expensive in Oxford. 1,200 to 1300 for 3 bedroom. Is there a nearby town where we can have cheaper accommodation and my wife will commune to school from. Her physical lecture is twice a week. Town that has job prospects and cheap housing not very far from Headington |

Samiiiiiiiiiiii: Thank you very much for the help so far as regards my question on dependants. Please now I want to confirm, I heard that the deadline for my dependant to come into the UK(so as to be qualified for PSW) is September 27, does anybody have any information/confirmation as regards this please? @justwise @justwise @justwise Please your inputs will be appreciated as this will change my plans totally. “ Applicants who began their studies in autumn 2020 or in spring 2021 will need to be in the UK with permission as a student by 27 September 2021. Students beginning their course this autumn or early next year will need to be in the UK by 6 April 2022.” If you are starting this September or so, u have till April 6 2021 |

Mamachi09: Hi scobyy2007, am heading to Bristol this Sept family of 6. We've been looking at hotels and short-term accommodation pending when we get a house but everything online seems so expensive for a large family.
I want to assume you are in Bristol? Could you please make a suggestions area or close cities to Bristol student's with dependents can easily get accommodation.
I have done some research too for cwmbran, newport, cardiff,Swindon. I wanted to know your recommendation in terms of jobs and cost of living in those places i listed,I believe this will help alot of us heading to Bristol .
Also if anyone else can suggest and assist with the above it will be highly appreciated. I have not been to Uk but from what I can gather from people who are there, it is better for the main applicant to go first. Thereafter after getting your BRP and settling down, the other family members can join. If not, no matter the kind of money you take to Uk, it will finish within a week and you will be stranded. Let the main person go first, settle down, get a good accommodation first. This is my best advice. |

sarrki: A rare picture of a pair of shoes worn by bandits. The shoes are made with cow hooves for soles so that when security agents are trying to trace them, they will think it's a herd of cattle that passed.
Bandit shoes designed like cow footprints to confuse trackers trailing them.

Destiny20five: Oxford Brookes matter strong nor be lie... You have to be following them back to back for your CAS. I really can't count the number of mails I sent to them, I copied several dept in the mails as well.
I sent my POF June 3rd and on June 4th they sent a mail that it's been confirmed so I can use it for my application.
Oya send me my CAS na, they kept saying we are sorry for the delay, you will get it this week, it is now ready for issued etc.
They eventually sent it June 11th or so they said which was on a Friday. On Monday June 14th I had to start disturbing them again before I finally got it.
Summary of my narration is, don't wait for any 10days o, start calling CAS team, ISAT and even mail admissions dept to help escalate the issue for you. Visa dates are fast flying i wanted to pay the school fees deposit today but they are asking for invoice. does Oxford brookes usually give invoice? or i should request from them? |

Joeautoz: Same here, Oxford brookes have been too slow recently. The pre-cas stage was so stressful! We are still waiting for the CAS to come through. I was advised today and their excuse was that it can take up to 10 working days for the CAS to be issued. I spoke to the ISAT dept via zoom today. please share your experience in the pre cas. What was it like. What questions |
