PlayPays: That must be Merrigan same officer I spoke to and she gave me options for payment. I posted some advice earlier so peeps of schools with such policy can try it and there's a guy that embassy threatened that they will close his app if he doesn't find a way to make tuition even after the school mailed em of their policy, I guess the guy has been able to figure out what to do but he hasn't been back since his last post, I'm sure aint d only one waiting to read from him as his solution will help others.

To all prospective Keyano College students...I just had a phone call with one of the Admissions Officer (Melissa)...she advised they are not changing their policy as per paying before visa ....so, I challenged her that are they willing to loose students for this policy.....which she says Yes, there is nothing they can do... that students can look for another school to secure visas and transfer over to them.... she even said there are students from Nigeria that got their visas without paying...so... I dont know wat to advise now as CDHC has been giveing few guys wahala to pay now ooo.... I guess they realised alot of students are heading to that school and they want to stand by their visa policy for una to pay ooo....Melissa even told me they dont have a large International student presence in school thats why they dont have an International office and never knew how to deal with issues CDHC is asking oooo

PlayPays: My school has that same policy as I already knew so I just made a way to convince em that I wna make tuition and I was given options for payment.

My advice is, have a very close contact with your school and tell em you wna make tuition as your TRV app is approaching completion stage. Do this even before medical call frm embassy so if it finally comes with request for tuition, you just go ahead to make it as you've aidy concluded with ur school

sampitts: Hi guys! Sorry It's been a while. Things got so so complicated for me, I got a little frustrated but I'm good now. CDHC wanted me to bring a new acceptance letter and funding letter for september start instead of the one i submited initially for may. I tried all I could to make sure the school send it, I was asked to apply for readmission by the school which I did. Then the delay started untill today that i recieved a news, i don't know if it's good or bad though. The news says that they could not secure funding for me for september but I'm guaranteed January and if i acccept January, they'll send the letters this week. CDHC called me 3 times requesting for the letters for september, But the school has moved it to January. I guess i'll have to accept it and explain to CDHC

Usually the embassy contacts the School for verification. Is it possible the school might be the one causing the delay? I intend contacting my school to find out if they've been contacted on my matter. Is there any harm in doing this?

Bros, since you're not the only person that got medic without instruction to pay tuition. That means it is not a mistake by CDHC in your case.
However, if you feel insecure, you can go ahead and pay your tuition. Nothing spoil. You can't be refused because of that.

If your school does not accept payment without TRV, then you have nothing to worry about. Just chill and do your medic.
Ensure you don't develop high BP so that you won't be asked to do further tests.*God Forbid* It's real tho and Am sure you don't want that. so, Chillax.

Fhemmmy: It has nothing to do with your school . . . They are busy with so much application to deal with and verifying documents aint easy as well . . .

Siga: ...the delay is not from ur school bro... trust me, if CDHC wan even collect transcript from ur Naija school...u will be surprised how fast it will be delivered to them.... the delay, might be the volume of apps, ur sponsors bank or the verification of some of ur docs...

1. PLEASE I WAS CONTACTED VIA EMAIL DIRECT FROM CIC, AND WAS GIVEN TE LINK TO THE LIST OF HOSPITALS WHERE I CAN CARRY OUT THE MEDIC BUT MY STATUS HASNT STILL CHANGED AT THE VFS WEBSITE( I GUESS because ITS A WEEKEND) .PLEASE SHOULD I PROCEED TO CARRY OUT THE MEDICALS WITHOUT DELAY OR WAIT FOR THE STATUS ON VFS WEBSITE TO CHANGE?

2. I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY INSTRUCTION AS PER PAYMENT OF FEES AND BOARD. IS THIS USUALLY AMONG THE PACKAGE SENT BACK TO VFS OR DOES THE MEDICAL INSTRUCTION COME SEPARATE FROM THE FEES & BOARD INSTRUCTIONS AND RECEIPTS.

PLEASE GUYS, I NEED YOUR ADVICE ON THE ABOVE LISTED INQUIRIES.

kjbobo: Really happy for my pal that got called since 12th of July but just saw it today....was told to pick up his TRV...THOUGH he had applied last year..did medicals...was then told to pick a new start date.we both applied(paper application) in May.He applied 10th of May and has now gotten TRV....But he did something interesting...He sent a long passionate mail two days before he was given+Faith in scriptures(Amos 9v13) and I think dis did the job!
By and large, sending mails to these guys....honestly,doesnt do any harm!

Chatters: I have 2 waec certificates with different date of birth due to no fault of mine. Now my int'l passport has another date of birth. Will this affect my chances at cdhc? I'm going for my masters. I'm thinking of sticking with my Intl passport dob since my birth certificate tallies with this info. What do u think?

Anazp: justwise or watever u call urself. u had beta b careful. u are not a canadian immigration official neither are u an approved immigration agent or lawyer. u could get sued for negligent information u post here. nigerians are so gullible thats why they cud come here for ur socalled advice. if anyone needs any info go to the canadian immigration website www.cic.gc.ca stop this thread or else u wud b reported to the relevant authorities for misleading the public and for fraud.

collyno200: @earthgreeners & urchi the ordinary option costs about 300 naira. i dint register it.thouhh the lady i met there asked if i wanted to get it registered i declined cod i thought she was referring to speed post which is abt 10k plus. besides ordinary mail should get there in 10 working days, max 15 days. pple dat av used this option can attest to it. well i think i would av to get another reference leter and send it through dhl
