adewaleafolabi: Thanks for the advice, I mailed my department and found out that admission is only conducted once a year but am at liberty to either resume in September or January. The only thing that would do is to disrupt my already planned course calendar and I'd be a semester late for graduation.

As a friend says "We know we would surely get the best however we prepare for the worst". For me I've decided not to worry any longer, I'd focus on the wealth of experience am currently getting and basically enjoy my life.

This isn't funny. I submitted on May 30th, I have an exemption examination on September 3rd. My program is just once a year no second admission period. Miss September its till next year again. Am really pissed of right now. So abeg what do I do? DO i cancel and apply online

Its not funny. I don frustrate tire my current contract expires in August and I confirmed that am not renewing it. Had to make other tough decisions also. Seriously september better pull through

Btw, you can contact your school ASAP n ask if your exemption exam can be scheduled to last week in September in case you came late...give it a shot, you never can tell... e fit work for you.

I checked applications submitted inside Canada , as at 4th of july, they are on 22nd of April.

They never reach MAY for head quarters sef, So we really need to chill but don't take overdose of the chill pill.

get a letter from your high school, that English language is the language of instruction in your school. That is, all subjects are taught in English Language.
I think a credit or above in English (WAEC) should do too.

We (Nigeria) Lost 3-0 to Spain recently and I noticed one of my staff watching and re-watching the match over and over again. I felt sorry for him coz in his eyes, I could see that he was always hoping that somehow the match would turn out in our favour in one of his subsequent viewings!

... I entered my office and could feel my computer mocking me.... my mind playing tricks on me.... I hear a voice saying "Track again, track again" and I tell myself, "but you just tracked less than 5 minutes ago!" then the voice says "maybe they updated your status just after you tracked"

.....after the national assembly in me goes through a heated debate, I concede saying "No harm in tracking again, since you're online".... and then I track (sometimes it feels like the keyboard enters the tracking code itself as I can almost do it now with eyes closed) ....it's still blah blah blah.

My mind is playing tricks on me. Please, Pass me the chill pill! whateva it is!

earthgreeners: Sure, but I wld only recommend it for those whose applications are straight forward...those who are self sponsor, parent, brothers, sisters... Those whose case file doesnt require much explanation/documentary evidence.

lucky Don: I wonder why someone can be denied trv just because he or she is a smoker which is not even a disease...Also bearing in mind that the use of canabis is legalised in Canada for medicinal purpose.Besides most oyibos smoke...I think why med tests are conducted are just for communicable diseases.

But canabis is illegal in naija....so, such person is not a law abiding citizen....u dig?

Onye oma: Attach a notarized affidavit of support for ur 2 sponsors this time around...and if possible,add a lil maggi and spice to the acc balance...I feel you'll be good to go...

In addition, state each sponsor's responsibilities in d affidavit.

fiz1: Sponsor: I used my 2 siblings. They used their salary accounts..good cashflow, no overnight deposit..there was letter from their employers quoting their annual pay.

Did u include an affidavit of support?

adonai36: You are perfectly right, to God be the glory I applied together with my spouse and I got my study permit while he was also granted spouse visa. I think it depends on how you package your application, your statement of purpose and how you express ties. Infact, we applied with just about N7.0M in our account. And the visa was granted within five weeks.
I encourage student who are married to apply with their spouse. It is a matter of showing the VO that you can't separate from your loved one, and your presence with her/him will make him to excel in his/her studies, and you intend to return back home and start something profitable with the skills aacquired in Canada.
