E-Visa granted today for my 2 dependants.

Seems we were part of the first beneficiaries of the platform.

Date of Submission - 25th Feb
Approval Date - 4th April
Duration - 3months (I was surprised cos we requested for 1month)
Visa Type - Multiple Entry
Doc Submitted - Proof of my legal status, invitation letter for them, evidence of our relationship, confirmation of my address, my payslip and bank account.

I was initially skeptical if the platform is operational yet but now I have my confirmation.

bros those that got their passports back after 3 weeks will never tell you how it happened, this is nigeria where your money speaks for u...This is a matter of good contact,there was a younger brother of mine that got his visa after 3 days of submission in 2016 while mine took two weeks then...I guess you understand me better

Nothing is wrong bro Its just that south african don't want nigerian again...I have seen different cases where the embassy just denied applicants without genuine reasons.. imagine someone that has been to canada and UK...now been denied of south africa visa this shows that south africa embassies are corrupt

Two months ago,an employer in Canada I met online gave me a job offer to working on site there in Canada. I took the offer after the employer made a mouth watery promise of paying for the visa & flight ticket from the company's account BUT I'll payback the expenditures by deducting certain percent from my weekly salary for few months.

But a recent happening got me confused when my employer's travel agent in Nigeria started asking for 150dollars which is requested from the lady at the Canada visa office as charges. What charges again? This demand came after a-month-of-processing of the visa. I contacted my Canada employer about this development, he said I should go on & pay that he'll refund me with my proof of payment when I get over there. I haven't paid any dime since this started honestly.
Meanwhile, the two documents required from me by my employer are; soft copies of the data page of my international passport & passport photograph only. My employer also told me he paid 3,000dollars for the visa processing under a month and could be refunded if I declare not interested. How possible?

Please experienced Nairalanders, is this a God's given opportunity or scam? Mature response will go a long way helpful please.

This is the reason I didn't apply for south africa visa.. how can a visa application especially an african country takes 2 or 3 months to receive the outcome , this is bad.. even UK only takes 3 weeks after all they will refuse visa on a baseless ground infact I see south africa as wasting of effort

Good morning my beautiful brothers and sisters. My wife was living in Egypt and she came to Nigeria on December last year, before we get married. Now she wanted to go back to Egypt but one Agent is telling her that Igbos and Yorubas females can't get the visa now, except she will do new passport with Hausa names before she can be granted visa..
Please my questions are, how possible is it for her to get another passport with Hausa names and is anybody aware of this new development?
