Health / Re: UK Stops Recruiting Healthcare Workers From Nigeria, 53 Others (Full List) by don3e(m): 2:05pm On Apr 10, 2023
LivingSage:
God bless them.

You can't be trained in Nigeria almost free of charge (because u paid chicken fee as tuition fee compared to Europe) without paying back to the Country, but using that knowledge to benefit European countries.

You would agree with me that such ban should not be limited to doctors or other health workers but should include Politicians (both pass and present) from having health care in their country. These will not only make them appreciate the doctors and health workers here in Nigeria, it will also make leaders in the country improve on the health facilities in the country.
This should be applied to education. All Politician Children should be made to school here in Nigeria (especially, Public school), this would make them take Education sector serious.

These are people elected to be Public Servants, Servant ooooo at any levels of governance and one of their duty is to ensure Workable Hospital in the Country.
Just check in any Hospital, you will cry for the country. Hospital lack basis facilities not to talk about health workers pays, very bad.
Is no news that most if not all of our elected leaders in governance don't use our health facilities but travels abroad for health care. It is painful, with pains in my heart with God willing, let them be punished as they (Government) goes outside this country for health care. The painful thing is that it is people/ state money that they would had used for upgrading our hospital with necessary facilities and payment of health worker are used for their own personal needs.

Nigeria problem is lack of visionary leaders. Do you know that industrialization start from agriculture. If you have about 1000 capacity coconut plantations, this will automatically attract coconut juice, oil, and cake processing companies. Other minor companies and businesses will also be built around it. This translate to more employment and improved the economy.
This one of the reasons I like the present governor of Akwa Ibom state. They are into this project and I know the like of Soludo will follow suit.
Individuals can also carry out this project.
Estimate of the land masse( plots of land) needed for 1000 coconut as you stated, pls tell us?
For the record, nice one

I agree. It's wrong. As long as she's not going to cheat or subvert honest writing of her examination, then she should be able to write freely.

Like seriously! Covenant University is a University built on Christian Foundation, where Christian ethics and norms are though.
This case is like, a Christian lady entering a Mosque with her Bible. She will be forced out if not worst.
Act like this is an act of disrespect.
The School is not a Government own School but a Christian Private University. As being Private, you don't force your way in but abide by the rules and regulations as set by the School.

Abisolababe:
Good morning everyone, and I wish you happy Sunday

There is this particular church or God whereby the holy spirit through the messenger will match make couples together.
I have seen a instance whereby a lady who is also a member brought her husband to be to the church and when the holy spirit came the whole plan changed, and a guy who came from the United States was called upon and the lady was handed over to him.

What's your own view on matchmaking in the church by the holy Spirit?
Peace...

Note
It's a standard white garment church
That's wrong completely and it is not Biblical, don't be deceive!
Man is always man, looking for who to blame and never want to take responsibility.
First match making was Adam and Eve. How did it end? They (Mr and Mrs) blame God, hence God left the issue and responsibility of finding a spouse to man. Read, Proverbs 18:22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.

Marriage between two persons to become one, is the sole responsibility of the man (will he love the woman?) and backed by the Woman ( will I be submissive? (note not slave)).
No third party. They can only give opinion or draw your attention to a person but the sole responsibility rest on the Man and backed by the Woman. To avoid blaming the match maker tomorrow.

Politics / Re: CJN Travelled For Medicals, Never Met Tinubu – Supreme Court by don3e(m): 10:15pm On Mar 24, 2023
vickymooore:
I give Authentic News.

Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola disguises on wheelchair in London hotel for secret meeting with Bola Tinubu

Chief Justice Olukayode Ariwoola has been sighted in London pretending to be a physically-challenged old man, Peoples Gazette learnt today, in what Supreme Court sources said was a clandestine preparation for a meeting with President-elect Bola Tinubu.

Mr Ariwoola’s movement was exposed to The Gazette as Mr Tinubu was arriving in London for what his team claimed was a relaxation trip after a hectic campaign that preceded his declaration as Nigeria’s president-elect last month. But Mr Tinubu kept his trip to London secret until it was exposed on Wednesday afternoon by Sahara Reporters, which said the trip was a medical emergency.

The Gazette learnt that Mr Ariwoola departed Nigeria on March 11 via Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. He was pushed in a wheelchair through the terminals to board a British Airways flight, our sources said.

Upon arrival in London, Mr Ariwoola, 64, was also wheeled into a hotel downtown, where he has remained ever since. But immediately after checking into the hotel, Mr Ariwoola abandoned his wheelchair and started moving around the facility unaided. The Supreme Court head is not known with any physical disabilities.

“He has been moving about in the hotel without any wheelchair,” a source familiar with the CJN’s activities at the London accommodation told The Gazette. “He was standing on his own in the elevator just yesterday.”

The Gazette learnt that Mr Ariwoola repeatedly picked up food ordered via delivery services at a mid-level lobby, including Uber Eats and Deliveroo. It was unclear whether or not he placed the orders by himself or how he paid.

With Mr Tinubu now in Europe, he would be meeting Mr Ariwoola in a secret arrangement to discuss issues unknown to Nigerians, our sources said.

“The CJN deliberately left the country more than a week ahead of Tinubu to avoid any suspicion about why both of them disappeared at once,” a source familiar said. “That is why he travelled secretly and Tinubu also travelled secretly.”

They thought that they could secretly move the president-elect abroad without anybody knowing about it,” a source said. “That’s one of the several mistakes they made on this matter, asides from the belief that they could allow the Chief Justice of Nigeria to move about in a London hotel for several days undetected after going through the trouble of disguising him in a wheelchair.”

The Gazette has temporarily withheld the CJN’s photos and the specific hotel he stayed in to protect a source central to this story.

A Supreme Court source said Mr Ariwoola wanted to meet Mr Tinubu to discuss issues that may arise from the budding legal challenge to the declaration as president-elect, including whether or not he should be worried about the petitions recently filed by opposition parties.

“The CJN would either assure Tinubu of victory in court or tell him that he should be worried about the dimension the petitions may take through the court stages,” the source said under anonymity to avoid facing administrative action for divulging privileged information to reporters. “But we may never know what they actually discussed after their secret meeting.”

“I am reluctant to start thinking about the of their meeting right now,” the source added. “But any fair-minded person will easily admit that both of them meeting in a foreign corner to discuss something that Nigerians will not know about is highly suspicious and should be unwarranted.”

They say, put power/ Money in your friends hand, then you will know who truly is a Friend.
This CBN cash redesign policy just showed it. Yes, the effect of the policy was really hard on us but most people went too far.
All overnight, people started selling cash even banks. Some sold cash up to 20% while some 50%.
As Nigerian, people now resulted to Bank Transfer/POS as means of payment. But seller whose owned POS, added exorbitant charges to the cost, if intend paying with POS/Transfer and not via cash.
A friend of my told me of his experience he had with his barber. Normally, the price for hair cut is N500, but since he had no cash, the barber who he has being patronizing for years now told him that he should pay N900 ( via bank transfer).
What's is your experience with the customer you are patronizing in your area?

We have let irrelevant things take the vital part of our lives.
Your Wife is your wife as your Husband is your husband.
Two became one (The only mathematics equation that prove scientists wrong cos' scientists never factor love in their equation)
Do you know we have different kinds of Lords as we have different kinds of Ladies? See the following:
1.Jesus as Lord and Friend
Jesus is Lord yet He is a Friend (John 15:14: "Ye are my Friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you"wink
2.God as a Father and Friend
Father Abraham was refered to as "Friend of God" in James 2:23.
3.The Egyptian as Lord and not friend
The Egyptian were lord over the Israelites but they were not friends Exo.1:13, 2Chr 20:7?
What is relevant?
Husband that enjoys his marriage does not only work as Lord but equally Love: for Lord+Love is needed to go together from the husband. While Wife can only give submissiveness to her Husband.
When you love, she become submissive towards you as the Lord over her.

Food / Suggest Possible Way To Reduce The High Price Of Rice by don3e(m): 6:30pm On Oct 30, 2022
It is no just saying that the cost of food stuff is going up. Nigerians depend basically on food like Rice, garri, yam etc.
You will agree with me that rice is now the most ate. But the way, Rice price keeps going up, it really alarming. God go help us oooo.
You will hear marketers saying this recent flood had destroyed really rice-farmz in the country, hence there is shortage.
So, how much is a bag of rice in your area and how do you think government can come-in.
In Bayelsa, a bag of rice is sixty thousand naira (N60,000+). At this moment, my suggestion is that government should lift the ban on rice for now, so that the price of rice could come down subject to new planting-harvest rice season.
