i have been struggling to sustain and make it in life as a young guy. i would say family has helped me alot couple with my struggle, i have being able to open a business.

family helped me to pay my rent and other stuff.

to make the story short.

i have being able to make 60,000 naira with lot of hustle and struggle. my main aim is to buy a good laptop to enhance my business.

there is this female friend, a close one, she tells me her trouble, problem, insecurity and her way to life.

she fell sick and nearly to death, i encouraged the family to take her to general hospital from a two room hospital she was, spent up to 40,000 naira on her in the hospital.


now it seems that all my aim, struggle, money and plan has shatter. i don't know what to do again.

i didn't want to loose her and i feel regret of spending such amount of money. family didn't want to help me again, even they don't have to help.

all of us are struggling. i wanted to buy laptop so that i can start online business.

Choose what you want to blog about
Choose a platform (blogger,wordpress)
Blogger is free ,just google it and there is more than enough simplified info on how to start (but it has some limitations)
Wordpress has two variants (one like blogger,which also has limitations ,and the other which is self hosted giving you freedom to customize FULLY as you like )
If you are going for the fully hosted ,you are can get a hosting plan with a free .com.ng domain from whogohost for as little as 4000 and install wordpress

Even though i understant it might feel like a large sum to you ,the developers experience and skillset might be worth it .
But..... which developer do you like this na ,I fit collect the work o,I dey find money to invest in my startup,no kidding if there is any job let me know .

I think we can use this platform to inform Nigerians about incompetent programmers that collect money under false pretense and at the end of the day messes your business up. Feel free to provide the names, phone numbers and the name of their company so that startups will not hire them ever.

If you tell them their demands has exceeded what they paid for(after they also stated clearly what they want,and you did exactly that) ,they would label you scam
You go dey hear strange ,strange request .
The more reason why i stopped 3D animation ,Nigerians don't value creative guys ,Imagine somebody asking me to do 5 minutes 3d animation for 15k something wey 100k no go do sef .

I have been accused of scamming some clients ,including a nairalander sef don blame me ,for the same reason above .

Then I learnt my mistake :

All web/graphics/programmer/animator or any freelancer , should always CLEARLY STATE ,what you are going to do for the client and the limit to the number of reviews that prize will cover
Always collect 60 % before you start anything
Be polite ,I know how annoying some clients are ,but cool temper
Try and meet deadline ,i no say e no easy ,with Nepa and everything ,just try
Give realistic deadline and some days extra incase of unforseen circumstances
Clients too should stop pricing our work like pepper
Programmers too make una ,know una worth,stop collecting yeye money

Na the same method I take loose 4500 early this year ,
I cross checked everything,the event was real, everything looked real, Only for me to get to the event and I was told that agency doesn't exist and the event and it's ushers were already taken care of.I have never felt like a fool all my life like I did that day. It's as if it's the same person, because the details you provided is Perfectly identical. Even though that 4500 wasn't that much, I was just looking to make extra income in spare time, the loss pained me to the bone. Because I was very sure it was real. But they were smarter than me.

This is what you would do, tell them you might be late to the event, and you want everytIng to be ready before the event and they should send you their account number,and you don't have time to come and pay physically.
If the person sends you an account, Send it to me as PM, let me crosscheck with the person that choped my 4500 ,I must catch am oo
It's part of what motivated me to create the app in my signature so people can post numbers and details of people who have scammed them, to help prevent further scams
