God has nothing to do with it, mumu africans.

exercise, food, healthy living, lifestyle and general wellbeing are more powerful than your imaginary god

There are a lot of people who are rich ,exercise a lot and eat good food, best healthcare.but one mumu sickness would catch them at an early age.

How do u explain that ?.

I've received a lot of forwarded WhatsApp messages on this matter of former governors who are currently senators being paid pension, and people like David Mark being paid pension from the military. I didn't know that just WhatsApp messages could make Saraki write Kwara State Government to stop the payment of the pension. It's a pity that the Kwara State Government did not use their sense ab initio.

This is the cost of "One Nigeria"

So how can anyone or any Igbo man want Biafra after reading about the 'rich' cultural and united history of Nigeria above?
I feel for the lives lost.
But can we say no other tribe was killed during this ,I believe we should not be one sided in matters like this.
Taking a closer look, most of the places u mentioned are in the north.
I stayed in Kano for about a year in 2001 ,most of this fightings and killings are politically inspired .

Or as a result of self centeredness of certain groups.
It goes back to my point of being tolerant and changing the mindset we have for one another .

Because whether you get Biafra or not,not all igbos would return to their land. The same goes for igbo land there are other tribes who have married and built a life there. What happens to the ones left in other states if we don't become tolerant and change how we approach each other.

Before you start reading this ,I want you to turn on the "neutral part " of your brain.

I want you to see yourself as a human being first ,forget what country you are from, forget your skin color, forget your tribe, whether WA,ZO or BIA .Forget everything !, for the next few minutes of reading this, you are a mere human,no name , nothing.
Since we have cleared that out of the way ,lets get started !.

INTRO

I love Nigeria,I love the Yorubas,I love Igbo people, their language ,everything about them.O I love the Hausas and how nice and transparent they can be.This is no way meant to be condescending .....

My Omalicha kiss kiss is Igbo(Anambra) ,her mom loves me ,her father detests me.

The first day I met him,he loved me, he couldnt stop talking about me for weeks and how much of a perfect and smart-young gentleman I am, the moment she told him some weeks later or so that I am from Edo state, his countenance changed. I had to stop going there because ,she stopped me from coming for fear of what her father might do.It gives rise to a salient question -did i stop being good because of where I come from huh, what happened to all the good attributes you saw in me ? .

According to her ,he fought in the Biafra war .Not only Edos,he detests Yorubas(he believes we are all the same),funny enough Calabar people are included in the hate list grin.Anybody who is not Igbo is an alien to him.

The other day I entered keke, one Yoruba keke driver , was talking to my driver(Igbo) and we the occupants "This boy na,omo nna oo,na igbo boy o,....blablablabla",even though he said it jokingly deep down I could feel that hatred in the Yoruba guys voice.

All these are not forged stories, they have happened to me .I have experienced countless others

Moving closer towards the subject matter :

I was not born during the Biafra era,as I am quite young ,and you can say my knowledge about all that transpired is quite limited ,as all I know was read and not seen. But I am a very observant person and I have studied Yoruba people and Igbo people very very closely .

And here is what I think- all this hate and all this bitterness have been accumulated ,stored and nutured in our minds by our parents who lived in that era .We have been brainwashed and psychologically caged into thinking that the tribe a person comes from is a SOLE determinant of who he is .My father almost did this to me , but I had to break free from it "stop playing with those Yoruba children,if i see you with them I would flog you".Imagine how many more had fathers and mothers who were like this and weren't lucky like I am to have freed themselves from this mental slavery.

I have met and dealt with shitty Yoruba people,I have also met sweet ones that can almost lay down their lives for you.I have met irritating Igbo people,I have also met angels among them , that can feed your entire family if need be,just to see that no one suffers .

Having said all these, I have deduced and I AM SURE,that people would be what they want to be ,and people are who they are !!,not because of where they come from. They are shitty because they are just that way -shitty,or they are that way because they have been programmed to be that way.

Bottom line -Our parents are to blame ,our grandfathers are to blame.

Now concerning the Biafra issue,as much as I have seen ,heard and experienced .This is another case of psychological manipulation. The point is ,is it for good or is it for bad ?.

I can comfortably defend the Biafra agitators that SOME of their concerns are indeed worth fighting for .

But is this the solution ?

Here are some questions you should ask yourself ,forget about what Nnamdi Kanu or any other leader has said ,think about just your view when asking yourself these questions :

1.Do I want Biafra because its the right thing to do,or just because I hate Yorubas and Hausas
2.Do I want it because the government is treating us badly
3.How would this affect my children and generations to come
4.Are we really taking the best approach to this, have we explored and RUN OUT of all options ?
5.What if another war breaks out ,would I be happy to see other humans ,who have offended me in no way die ?
6.If we really break off, is there a structure on ground to make things work better than the former country I was part of ?.
7.Would the present leaders who are leading us in this struggle turn against us and just repeat the mistakes of Nigerian leaders all over again out of greed and thirst for power.
8.How accountable are our prospective leaders ready to be.How ready are they to do what is right and stand for the common man after achieving our aim.
9.Even though we have many business men and tycoons ,and natural resources at our disposal, can we really survive without Nigeria ?.
10.Even if we can survive without Nigeria, what if Nigeria actually needs us.
11.What is my major motivation,is it freedom,is it equity,is it justice,is it hatred,or is just because many people want it so I want it too ?
12.Do I really understand what Biafra is ,what its aim and core belief is ? .
13.Is my approach to all these just as a result of what was instilled in me while growing up.
14.Do i see anything positive in other tribes ? .

I could go on and on.
I believe one thing, for us to achieve true progress, for us to have our leaders accountable ,for us to make sure no particular tribe gets pushed to the curbs, for us to make sure an average Nigerian or even the poorest can have access to the basic things of life that he deserves, for children to stop dying of common Malaria cry ,for us to have all our desires,we need to work together !.

We first need to change how we see each other, see everyone as a human first, see what they are and what they can offer, see the good side of them, before seeing their wrong or their tribe.

Each tribe in Nigeria has something they are better at,none is better at all things.

Most importantly we have to start speaking up,we have to start sticking together and make our leaders accountable for every penny spent, every word spoken .

We have the most powerful tool at our disposal-the Internet ,but instead of us using it to reinforce our bond , we are using it to tear each other apart.

Its like a double edged sword,we have used one side waaayy too much to stab ourselves, its time to turn it and use it against the people who are really causing us pain, and hold them to ransom-the government.

You call this country a zoo, ooooooohh ! trust me, the animals in a zoo are much more powerful than the zoo keepers if and only if they decide, that they want to be FREE and FREE indeed. But this can only happen if they work together.Working as a single unit they would just be gunned down.

God bless Nigeria.
God bless Igbo land
God bless Yoruba land
God bless Hausa land.
And God bless you all.

Nna ehn ,yes they can control it ,all i am saying is one day they would loose control.
I was reading about one AI like that ,it creates another AI (i think Google did this )
Why I believe AI's would go out of control one day is :
We humans can NEVER think as fast as AI's ,a day might come that by the time we notice such mishap the damage might have already being done .
Tapout:

For how long would they keep shutting the AI down.
This things are built to learn and evolve
One day they would get used to you shutting it down, then would start evading the "shutting down".
I hope we wont start World war 3 using AI
AI is beneficial, yes ,but as Elon Musk(my brother from another mother ) said "AI is more dangerous than Nuclear weapons".
I hope they know what they are doing sha .
A day would come when this AI's would overide the kill switch .

Most programmers like their 3D/CGI peers feel like Bronze Gods.

They never belive in working together, forming hubs, you know, that sort of thing.

they become too encased in the program they learnt and feel an intense, almost suffocating need, to guard their skill.

They forget that collaborating more breeds innovation and sharpens intelligence. Nigerian programmers should adopt the MIT model

Programming › Re: I Want To Learn How To Build Apps And Games, Help! by Donald3d(m): 3:14am On Jul 30, 2017
If you want to build apps and games ,
since you already know HTML you can code in javascript and package an android app with Phonegap
If you want to build games there are also a lot of Javascript frameworks and engines for html5 games(including 3d games ! eg Babylonjs) ,then also package with Phonegap.
Thats the fastest way ,you can have an android app ready in less than an hour !.

If you want to go the slower way,you would have to learn Java ,thats the native language of android.
You can also code android apps with Python and package with Kivy(This approach is not really "interesting").

I hope this answers your question

Education › Re: Civil Engineering Vs Chemical Engineering by Donald3d(m): 7:37am On Jul 28, 2017
its chemical engineering now
Here is a rule of thumb i always use when it has to do with science and judging what is easy and what is not :
The closer you move to atoms or electrons the tougher it becomes
Civil engineering is very far away from atoms and electrons (mostly physical stuff iron rod)
Electrical Engineering is tougher than civil(i did electrical, you are very close to electrons and atoms ,especially dealing with their motion)
Chemical Engineering is toughest among these three (because it actually deals with combination of this atoms and electrons to form something new)
The bottom line is nothing is hard ,you just have to love what u do
If you get a course you dont like ,try to change it to what u love ,if you cant change try to fall in love with it.
As my father would say, nothing is hard or difficult, you just dont know it .

Travel › 7 Crazy Things Ongoing Road Constructions In Lagos Are Causing by Donald3d(op): 2:16am On Jul 28, 2017
https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Lagos_construc-600x328.jpg
Constructions when done on a massive scale and in many places at the same time ,can be very discomforting .But we can't disagree with the fact that its for our benefit.

Like it or hate it ,the constructions and renovation on Lagos roads have started. This has brought about various occurrences, the good, bad, ugly, and extremely funny.

Lets find out some of them.

1.MUD

We love rain, but we don't like the mud it creates when it mixes with excavated sand. Its very annoying, especially at Ile Epo market axis .

Its funny how MUD can be decoded as Mega Universal Diarrhea, because thats what all the mud looks like to me grin grin grin.

2.Increased Bus Fare

As usual our Danfo drivers won't disappoint .We have seen bus fares go up by 100 % in some places and on some days as much as 600%(e.g the LGA election day and the day before). shocked

3.Traffic

As if the traffic in Lagos was not enough .We now have butt compressing traffic, that exceeds the longevity of a tortoise embarassed.

4.Broken Hearts And Angry People

As a result of the traffic very few people believe you when you tell them you are in traffic .People are loosing trust in each other.

Person 1 : "I dey inside go slow na ,I dey Abule Egba"

Person 2:"No be wetin you don dey tell me since 8am ,how many minutes from Abule Egba to Ikeja,Oga fear God na"

Person 1:
https://autojosh.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/odunlade-600x350.jpg
grin grin grin grin grin

5.Plenty Lies

While some are actually telling the truth, some folks use the opportunity to lie like La* M******** even when their vehicle is moving at 100km/h .

6.Accidents

We have seen plenty cars engaging in gymnastics and some swimming inside gutter (I am not making fun of the victims o).Its sad ,but what can we do.We have to wait till its all done.

7.Plenty Flogging

If you ply Abule Egba axis very well you would have heard of, or seen scenarios where Soldiers flog(emphasis on the "g"wink people like kindergarten students.Construction workers have also been victims.(according to one market woman I eavesdropped on)

But there are also some nice force men, about two days ago around Ile Epo a fast and furious motorist, brushed the behind of a clean blue pickup truck belonging to a Naval officer. He was nice enough not to beat anybody . grin grin grin

What are you currently experiencing in Lasgidi,we would love to hear your story .
