A saucy couple has gone viral after they were spotted having sex during a Zoom meeting.

The shamed staff member was caught in the act with a female companion after he forgot to turn his camera off during a virtual city council meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The council meeting, about the Rights of Children and Adolescents, was organised by the city council of the city of Rio de Janeiro. It was chaired by a member of the Socialism and Liberty Party, Leonel Brizola.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has re-arrested Internet personality, Ismaila Mustapha, aka Mompha, who is facing money laundering charges before the Federal High Court.

It was gathered that Mompha was re-arrested last Friday when he went to the EFCC office in Ikoyi, Lagos to reclaim his five wristwatches, one Apple Air pod, one iPhone 8 mobile phone and one pair of sunglasses, seized from him by the anti-graft agency.

Nigerian music legend Majek Fashek will be buried in New York, the United States where he died.

Some unconfirmed sources tell reporterswall that this is due to lack of funds to bring his remains back to Nigeria, but his family say different.

Majek Fashek's first child with his ex-wife Rita, made the announcement in a video shared on Monday, August 10.

Buruji Kashamu, until his death had used the last 22 years fighting the plans to extradite him to the United States to face a drug charge filed as Case No. 1:94-cr-00172.

The United States since 1998 had tried to get him to face trial, first by filing two extradition requests against him in the UK. But the moves failed.

A 21-year-old student of the University of Ibadan, Gbadebo Richard, died after falling into a soap-making machine on Monday at a factory owned by Henkel Nigeria Limited, makers of WAW detergent and bar soap.

According to multiple reports, Richards, who was a 300 Level student of European Studies at UI, was on a holiday job at the factory located in Oluyole, Ibadan, due to the closure of schools caused by COVID-19.

The Association of Faculty of Arts Students, UI, announced his death in a statement saying, “It is completely disheartening to announce the death of Mr Gbadebo Richard, a 300 level student of the Department of European Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan.

A number of Beirut port officials are being placed under house arrest pending an investigation into Tuesday's huge explosion, Lebanon's government says.

The blast killed no less than 135 people and injured more than 4,000 others. A two-week state of emergency has begun.

President Michel Aoun said the blast was caused by 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored unsafely in a warehouse.

The Federal Capital Territory High Court on Tuesday lost one of its judges, Justice Jude Okeke.

Reporterswall reports that Justice Okeke, aged 64, died at the National Hospital in Abuja.

Some court officials, who asked not to be named because they had no authorisation to speak on it, said the deceased had complained of chest pain some days ago after which his condition deteriorated.

A popular Max FM Lagos radio presenter Iya Jogbo, with the real name Emmanuella Pobeni Adepoju, is dead.

According to the management of TVC Communications, owners of TVC, TVC News, and Max FM Lagos and Abuja, Iya Jogbo died on Friday after a brief illness from bronchitis and an enlarged heart.

She was popular with the Wetin Dey show on Max FM. Her act included embodying several characters across the Nigerian zeitgeist. She was usually lively and engaging.

The United Arab Emirates has ordered Nigerian citizens living in the country whose visas had expired to leave before August 17, 2020 or face the wrath of the law.

The Embassy of Nigeria, Abu Dhabi, UAE, has, therefore, advised concerned nationals to join the evacuation flights arranged from the country before the expiration of the grace period.

In a statement titled, ‘Public Notice’ and dated July 21, the Nigerian Embassy in the Emirates urged affected citizens to immediately submit their papers for emigration processing.

President Muhammadu Buhari will Thursday depart for Bamako, Republic of Mali on a one-day visit, following the briefing by the ECOWAS Special Envoy to the country, former President Goodluck Jonathan.

A statement issued by presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina on Wednesday said the Nigerian President and some ECOWAS leaders led by the Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the sub-regional organisation, President Issoufou Mahamadou of Niger Republic, agreed to meet in Mali to engage in further consultations towards finding a political solution to the crisis in the country.

Host President, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita and Presidents Machy Sall of Senegal, Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana and Alassane Ouattara of Cote d’Ivoire are expected to participate in the Bamako meeting.

Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has been forced out of her leave from social media to speak loudly about the arrest of a Nigerian student, Olusola, who according to her was arrested on the orders of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to the Inspector General of Police.
