Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo is reporting the Finance Director most probably killed.

Kemi called on the Nigerian Government to be transparent on the matter. She said she believes he was killed and they are evacuating an office under probe.

The Minneapolis cops involved in the arrest of George Floyd before he died have all been fired, Mayor Jacob Frey said on Twitter. Watch the murder video HERE.

“Four responding MPD officers involved in the death of George Floyd have been terminated,” Frey wrote. “This is the right call.”

Floyd, who is black, was seen on viral video being pinned down by Minneapolis police, yelling, “I cannot breathe” before he died.

Lagos monarch, Oba Yushau Goriola Oseni, the Oniba of Ibaland, has died at the age of 77.

Palace sources said the monarch, who was kidnapped some years ago, died in a private hospital.

It was gathered that the oba died after a brief illness.

Lagos State is set to join Adamawa, Borno, and Ebonyi states to lift the ban on religious gatherings. The ban was placed as a measure to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Chief Stephen Akinkunmi, a leader of the Ogboni Fraternity, was shot dead in Ore, Odigbo local government area of Ondo state.

The police command in Ondo state has arrested two persons in connection with the killing of the Ogboni Fraternity leader.

The death has been announced of Mrs. Grace Okeleke, wife of the Head, Public Relations, Globacom, Mr. Andrew Okeleke.

The House of Representatives has invited the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, over alleged N40 billion spent in two months by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Going by the lawmakers, the fund was allegedly spent without due regard to the Fiscal Responsibility Act

First a few questions,

*Was it not the same bank that gifted the federal government of Nigeria One billion for the fight against COVID-19 (Coronavirus)?

*Was Herbert Wigwe under some sort of pressure to make the donation knowing that his bank was under such stress? The decision to close down almost 400 branches and lay off over 75% of the bank staff did not start during this coronavirus era.

I will continue with my last point above. The decision to sack its staff (75%) and also shut down almost 400 branches did not start today so he was probably scrambling for reasons when he said in his video that these are realities arising from the effect of the lockdown.

Kano State governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has announced the relaxation of the lockdown order imposed on the state by President Muhammadu Buhari.
