Hello Gurus in the house,

Please I need your help.
Some of my Dstv stations have disappeared.
Channels like Supersport Blitz, Supersport Select, African magic Yoruba, Africa magic Huasa on 11.863GHz, 12.052GHz & 11.900GHz have all stopped showing. The signal level is showing red (+-20%). I can still get SS3Ni, MWET, MM1, MM2, ESPN and some others.
I am using a Strong Srt4653X decoder with 90cm dish.

Hey, do a blind scan on your decoder, you will get CCTV9, CCTV4, CCTvF & RST1

@Dclique, how long do you think HiTV deserve? My problem with them is that they are not listening to the complaints and suggestions of their subscribers. Man, I am enjoying Dstv all the way

@Jesugbenro, you can use your Dstv Dish for HiTV, you only need to get a new decoder preferably STRONG decoder.

Wow 4,000.00NGN per month at least to watch live premiership in my home comfortably instead of going to viewing centres

But when I visited Naija and I was told they increased their rates? I was like WTF? for just football only, other channels are just bullshit

I never bothered to subscribe, this also applies to lot of friends

Any new things on HiTV,

HiTV just introduced a new bouquet that shows 20 stations for 1900 naira.
4 News channels, 4 Movies channels, 4 Music&Lifestyle channels, 2 Kid channels, 2 Sport channels, 2 Xtain channels and 2 Local channels.
But compare with DSTV 1500 naira 29 channels bouquet. I think HiTV is joking.

Hey guys, As anyone benefited from HiTV One month free promo? Why did HiTV asked subscribers to bring the decoder to HiTV shop?

Cancel decoder and Cable.
I have checked them,and they are okay.

Cable is pluged well into the LNB (in)of the decoder but yet no Strenght and Quality.

But i still doubt my dish shifting cus i never touched it.
I hope this problem can be fixed and it wouldnt repeat itself again if i do so.

I think we should give HITV/EHL/HI-MEDIA some time since we all are aware of the fact that its a new brand and she deserves to be tolerated.
HITV/EHL is working very hard to bringing to the homes of Nigerians great viewing experience and classical contents. This is also a technological based company and you are well aware that HITV is proudly Nigeria, recruits only Nigerians, Operates in Nigeria and moreso some of the equipment used gets a lot of scrutiny before importing if HITV/EHL has to. Which means some of the equipments are locally made.

Considering the terrain HITV/EHL operates in (NAIJA) then we would say that SHE has achieved (No Power, NO Water, NO Government) As we all no constant and stable elctricity gives an avenue for growth to indegenous company's, good governance also is a key factor in the growth of a company by protecting the right of the individual and the company against reep offs, overcharging of taxes, ilegal tax inasion et all.

Please let us tolerate HITV/EHL some more and you would be shocked at the progress.

Bros, na wa for you? The bible said if you want to start a business, you must count the cost. HiTV thought they could hold Nigerian to ransome because of football. My brother, I have dump my HiTV (29.5 stations @ 6k) for DsTV cos I have options: 1.5K (30 stations), 2.5k (40 stations), 4.5K (60 stations) & 9K (90 stations).

the Dstv 1.5k package is a new package with about 30 stations while others (like 2.5k with about 40 stations) still remain the same.

I think HiTV is joking,
Even DSTV 2.5k package is better than HiTV. The only reason why most subscribers are subscribing is becasue of football.
Imagine, DSTV @2.5k more than 30 stations and HiTV @6.0K 30 stations.
The promo is not attractive to me, thank God I didn't made a year subscription.

ever since i got my mpeg4 decoder and installed multitv, i ave been enjoying my self with 12 super channels without any monthly subscription, am out of dstv and hi watever bondage!! 12 clean crisp clear stations, sport unlimited, movies and series unlimited, nigeria and international music unlimited, cnn/bbc, up your eyes guyz and be wise,
