Alhaji Buba Galadima, a spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections, on Wednesday said Nigerians have been thrown into a mourning mood following the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Tribunal.

Galadima, who spoke on Channels Television, said many Nigerians believed they have been robbed.
The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal had held that Atiku Abubakar and the PDP had failed to discharge the burden of proof of the allegation of non-qualification of President Muhammadu Buhari to contest the February 23 general election.

Atiku had told the tribunal to nullify Buhari’s election and declare him the authentic winner of the election.
But delivering judgment, Justice Mohammed Garba, held that evidence before the court shows that Buhari won the election.

The property which is located on Number 6, Ogun River Street, Maitama, Abuja was handed over on Thursday to the commission by the EFCC Director of Operations, Mr Mohammed Umar.
Managing Director of NEDC, Mohammed Alkali during the handing over ceremony said the NEDC would make good use of the property.
He added that the property would contribute to the effectiveness of the commission.
This property is the second building belonging to the former Air Chief that is being handed over to a government agency.
The first building which is located at plot 1386 Uda Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja, was handed over to the management of Voice of Nigeria (VON) to serve as its headquarters.

The President of the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria, ATCON, Mr Olusola Teniola revealed 30 millions Nigerians in some remote communities have never seen a mobile phone.

Mr Olusola Teniola while discussing some of major challenges and the potential of the telecoms industry. In interview with TOBI AWORINDE of Punch.

When he was asked if he believe that there are some remote communities in Nigeria that are still without mobile networks. He said:

"That is correct. There are 102 market gaps that we have identified through research, which represents 20 to 30 million Nigerians, who have never made a voice call because they have never seen a mobile phone in their lives, let alone get onto the Internet. They are in darkness."

According to report by United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA), Nigeria has 201 million in population.

Saudi Arabia has hinted on the possibility of establishing a refinery in Nigeria.

Minister of Energy Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Khalid Al Falih dropped the hint during a meeting with Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu in Riyadh.

Kachikwu who affirmed the Saudi oil minister’s position said Nigeria was looking towards Saudi Arabia because of the country’s successes in the sector.
“We want to leverage on the huge success of Saudi government in terms of petroleum. Last year alone Saudi Aramco, an equivalent of NNPC made about $200 billion as profit.

“We have a lot of common ground, historical ties, and religious ties and there’s a need to move further. We cooperate a lot with one another in OPEC especially in the Ministry of Energy,” Kachikwu said.

He said Nigeria is already setting up a team to make the reasons for the visit a reality.

A statement from Nigeria’s oil ministry, Kachikwu had on Tuesday met with top executives of Saudi Aramco in Dhahran to crystallize ongoing discussions on collaborating with the Federal Government of Nigeria on investments in the oil and gas sector.

The minister was received by the President and Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Aramco, Amin H. Nasser and the top management of the conglomerate.
