Politics / Re: Hausa, Yoruba, Igbos, Not Fulani Are The Real Beneficiaries Of Banditry —gov Moh by Dong2: 4:06pm On Feb 19, 2021
fishman:
Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed on Friday claimed that Nigerians of Yoruba and Igbo extraction are the real beneficiaries of banditry in the country.

The governor also insisted that bandits terrorising the North are not Fulanis, claiming that there are Igbo, Yoruba and Hausa who are the real beneficiaries of the illicit trade.

The governor, who stated this on Friday while speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, said: “These bandits are not only Fulanis.

“In fact, they are terrorising the Fulanis but they have Fulani miscreants within them; they have Hausa, they have Igbo suppliers; they have Yoruba. They’re people really benefitting from the illicit trade.”

Mohammed, who came under fire for saying Fulani herdsmen carry AK-47 for self-defense, also said he has not changed his mind on his comment that herders have no option but to carry AK-47 for self-defence because they are being attacked and killed by cattle rustlers.

“I have not changed my opinion on the issue; I was not defending herdsmen,” he said.

Governor Mohammed also stated that Nigerians don’t need the permission of any governor to reside anywhere in the country.

He said, “Land is in the hands of the state and federal governments in trust but Nigerians don’t need the permission of governors or the federal government to settle everywhere. You don’t need the permission of the governor of Bauchi or the governor of Ondo to be in the forests of Ondo if you choose to live in the forests because under Section 41 of the constitution, you are free to settle anywhere.”

Politics / Re: Secret Exposed: The 3 Major Plans Of Fulanis To Takeover Southern Nigeria by Dong2: 9:21am On Feb 16, 2021
Gjrich:
1. RUGA- We don't want open grazing anymore. Ranch your animals in the core North.
Since southerners didn't believe in the Taqqiya called RUGA which was a subtle way to covet southern communities in the long term you decided to surround them by taking over their forests, normally when people are attacked they run to the forests for cover and safety, but now when Fulani bandits attack them in their homes, if they run to the forests they become easy prey to the same Fulani attackers on jihad mission.

2. INLAND WATER BILL- Was another plan by this Govt to take over communities in the South whereby the Federal government owns every water body within a radius of 2km.
It means that even the borehole in your compound belongs to Federal Government which can order you to make it available to herders.

3. The third scheme is Visa free entry for all Africans, in reality with the current economic situation in the country, the only migrants who can move in droves to permanently settle in Nigeria are pastoral Fulanis from several African countries where Fulanis have gotten it hot due to their behaviour and messages have been sent to them to migrate to Nigeria which is now the official homeland of all Fulanis including from Ghana, Central African republic, Mali, Niger, Chad, Senegal and Gambia. To make it easier our national budget is being used to link Fulani dominated areas in Nigeria from Daura, Kebbi to Buhari's maternal hometown of Maradi in Niger Republic.
Imagine Yorubas going to Togo, Benin republic and the Caribbeans or Igbos going to Equitorial Guinea to ask all Yorubas and Igbos in these countries to migrate enmasse to Nigeria with a plan to resettle them in Kano, Jigawa or Katsina, inflicting untold hardship and killings to clear the path?

This is not correct, the state governors in the South East were busy quarreling amongst themselves, it's ESN that took care of banditry and it's easy because they are not under the control of government like Amotekun, and videos showing them in training in forest combat sent a clear message to the bandits, moreover, every Fulani knows that under equal playing field they are no match for the Igbos going back to 1966 and it's worse now that Hausas are being gradually distinguished from Fulani as 2 separate tribes exposing them as a minority tribe in Nigeria.
The only way to rapidly boost their populationis to invite foreigners.
Igbos no longer use the political conjunction Hausa-Fulani courtesy of the fervent preaching of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, it's either you are Fulani or you are Hausa or Yoruba or Ijaw etc

Well said! You are on point. I m Yoruba by the way so its time we know our common enemy is Fulani not Hausa not any other tribe in Nigeria. The Fulani's who are the smallest minority wants to take over everywhere and install caliph all over naija. Gods ll defeat their plans in Jesus name, Amen. God bless.

foolish man. If due to fear of safety it is ok for herdsmen to carry gun then all Nigerians can carry AK47 in view of the security situation in the country by the excuse of the governor.

Second, herdsmen that stay in the forest without social amenity did so because its convenient for them and does not give them any authority over land that belong to other ethnic group either temporarily or permanently.

Besides for a Fulani to occupy any forest whether permanently or temporarily and the stance that land belong to Allah so they herders can not be challenged as experienced in Oyo, ondo, osun and Ogun etc is equally incorrect.

Lastly, if herdsmen fail to comply with conditions and rules of government in any of their host state thereby constituting nuisance to the host community livelihood then they are to peaceful living and should be ejected

You probably wonder how an underfunded NPF suddenly got money to acquire riot gears and crispy new uniforms about a week since the #OccupyLekkiTollGate protest was announced last week.

It is said that the Lagos State Government owns the LCC but every Tinubu's stooge understands that the wide-eyed, dogged politician in Bourdillon owns and controls the toll gate by proxy.

He probably funded the police within a week since the protest was announced last week. Strangely, the LCC provided the Black Maria unarmed protesters were caged in. The Toll Gate funds of BAT have been terribly affected that he would do anything to see it come alive again.

This is the smart thief that is eyeing the presidency.

IamHeWrites:
Founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank Atedo Peterside has hailed northern governors for admitting that open grazing was no longer sustainable, Igbere TV reports.

The governors reached this conclusion during an emergency meeting on Monday held virtually to discuss issues affecting the region and the nation in general.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Mr Peterside said the governors’ admission was “better late than never”.

https://twitter.com/AtedoPeterside/status/1359152236006412297?s=20

The governors resolved to sensitise herders on the need to adopt new methods of herding by ranching or other acceptable modern methods.

They also appealed to the Federal Government to support states with grants to directly undertake projects of modern livestock production.

History

I remember a time in this country when all the six ministers in Jonathan's kitchen cabinet were all Igbo's. Ayim Pius Ayim was SGF, Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla was in charge
finance, Emeka Wogu was in Labour and productivity, Berth
Nnaji was in Power and Energy, Dieziani Madueke was the
powerful minister for oil. The six of them outside the Federal
Executive Council would meet and decide what and what not to be discussed at the larger FEC. Whatever they decided
would eventually be the position of government. In 6 years,
this was the situation. Okiro and Onovo had the police under their control. Ihejerika and later Minimah controlled the Army.
These powerful Igbo's could do and undo. Nigeria was in their pockets. Rather than care about the poor Igbo chaps
scattered all over the country, they were busy diverting billions of naira into their accounts at home and abroad.
The 2nd Niger Bridge, they didn't do. They shared the money. The
Lagos/Calabar rail lines passing through 9 States, 3 of them
in the SE, they were not bothered. They refused to pay the
Chinese the Counter part fund. They shared the money. Enugu/
Onitsha, Aba/PH and other roads of economic importance to
their fellow Igbo's, they abandoned. Who is to blame? Who
Was marginalising the Igbo's that time? You had your chance, you bungled
it.
There was only 1 Yoruba minister worth mentioning at that time, Akinwunmi Adesina. He was in Agric, the yoruba did called or complain of been marginalized. His budget was
less than 1% while Emeka Wogu in Labour had over 10% for
his ministry, Ayim had unlimited access to the treasury for the
benefit of himself and family members. The poor Igbo guys
meant nothing to him. If an Igbo becomes President
tomorrow after bubu, will there be any difference? The
Igbo man will marginalise his fellow Igbo people.....

Well said my brother. Greed ll be their ultimate downfall. God bless you.

Politics / Re: Buratai: I Won’t Reply PDP On My Ambassadorial Appointment by Dong2: 5:59pm On Feb 07, 2021
agwom:
The immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai (Rtd) has said he owes no one explanation over his recent appointment as one of the non-career ambassadors.

Buratai disclosed this while speaking with journalists after a special gala night organised for him by members of the 29th Regular Course Association of the Nigerian Defense Academy in Abuja on Saturday.

Buratai and other Service Chiefs “voluntarily resigned” their positions on 26 January 2021, after months of calls for their sack following a spate of insecurity in different parts of the country, especially in the northeast, and the seeming failure of the security agencies to contain it.

Buhari had immediately appointed Major-General Leo Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff; Major-General I. Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral A.Z Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff; and Air-Vice Marshal I.O Amao, Chief of Air Staff as replacements.

However, the President released a list of nominees as non-career ambassadors of the country on 4 February 2021, just nine days after their resignation as Service Chiefs.

Consequently, the leading opposition party in the country, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), kicked against the move, calling on the President to withdraw the list.

In a statement by the spokesman of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, PDP described the appointment as a plot to shield the ex-Service Chiefs from investigation over the “killing of innocent Nigerians and crimes against humanity” under their inglorious watch.

PDP also charged the Senate to eschew all partisan considerations and stand on the side of the people.

However, while responding to a question from our reporter, Buratai said he would not respond to the PDP’s statement, insisting that he is not a politician.

He said: “It’s an honourable retirement and also an honourable appointment.

“I’m not a politician, so I have no word for the opposition.”

‘I have done well’

He said he stood out while in charge as the country’s Chief of Staff, saying: “I am happy that in July last year, my officers at the Army headquarters compiled a compendium of my achievements.

“In fact, I can’t even remember all the projects that we have executed. Is it in term of infrastructure? Is it in term of capacity building? Is it in terms of training?

“Since I was appointed, there was never a dull moment in terms of training.

“Remember the various exercises, these are training exercises from ‘Python dance’, ‘Crocodile smile’, and even the latest one ‘Exercise Sahel Sanity’.

“Is it in the area of medical? In terms of education of our children and wards, the Nigerian Army University are all great achievements.

“I think you can write volumes and volumes of books in terms of the achievements depending on the perspectives you want to take.”

Buratai said the impacts of his efforts as the Chief of Army Staff may not be felt immediately.

He, however, insisted that the country would be having highly qualified officers in the next five to 10 years, “who can carry this military profession to higher heights.”

The honour

Speaking of the gala night staged in his honour, Buratai said it showed that he did well as the country’s Chief of Army Staff.

“It feels great [to be celebrated by my colleagues] at this point in time.

“It means a lot to me in terms of respect, in term of the show of love.

“It’s something of pride that you have been recognised for the service you have rendered to your nation and people,” he said.

Why Senate shouldn’t confirm ex-Service Chiefs as ambassadors
Meanwhile, a former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, on Sunday, gave reasons why the Senate should not confirm ex-Service Chiefs recently nominated as ambassadors.
Frank, in a statement on Sunday, said approval by the Senate would be contrary to its many resolutions calling for the removal of the ex-Service Chiefs over acute insecurity.
According to him, the confirmation of the ex-commanders would amount to both chambers of the National Assembly returning to their vomit.
He noted that prominent groups in the country have at various times called or supported calls for the sack of the Service Chiefs over their failure to secure the country – humongous annual defence budgets notwithstanding.
He urged the lawmakers not to approve the nominations.

Politics / Re: Benue Belongs To Fulani Herdsmen By Right Of Conquest – Prof Muhammad by Dong2: 5:57pm On Feb 07, 2021
cocolacec:
January 18, 2018

Professor Umar Labdo Muhammad of the Faculty of Humanities, Northwest University, Kano has alleged that Benue State belongs to the Fulani by right of conquest.

The University Don predicated his claim on the fact that half of Benue State is part of the Bauchi Emirate and also half of the Adamawa Emirate.

In a post on his Facebook, Muhammad stressed that by extension, Benue is “part and parcel of Sokoto Caliphate” as such nobody has the right to expel Fulani from the state.

Muhammad also stated that Fulani are the largest single nation in the African continent and they have “remained unbeatable throughout their history.”

The post reads, “Benue State belongs to the Fulani people by right of conquest. This is because half of the state is part of the Bauchi Emirate and the other half is part of the Adamawa Emirate. Benue is therefore part and parcel of the Sokoto Caliphate. So no one has the right to expel the Fulani from Benue under any guise.

“Second to the Arabs, perhaps the Fulani are the most benevolent and merciful conquerors in history. If they had applied the Nazi final solution to the natives, or if they had treated them the same way the European settlers treated Red Indians in North America or the Aborigines in Australia, the story would have been different toady.

“The Fulani are the largest single nation in West Africa and, perhaps, on the whole continent and they have remained unbeatable throughout their history.

“You can hate the Fulani, you can call them all sort of names, you can blackmail their spineless political leaders, you can conspire to wipe out the entire Fulani leadership in a single day, you can stage a coup and “orkarize” (excise) the core Fulani states from Nigeria, you can hate them to he’ll, but you can never beat them.

“Fulani’s main problem remains their meek, spineless, incompetent leaders that have lost all sense of responsibility and abandoned their people. But this problem, thank God, is not insurmountable.

“The Fulani are capable of changing their leaders: traditional, political, religious and cultural (I mean by cultural those so-called Fulani socio-cultural organizations that eat fat on the Fulani but cannot champion their cause or defend their rights). They have done this in the past and are capable of doing it again.”

Why is it that Nigerians always praise their past leaders once they leave office, today when one talk about Late President Yar'Adua, next thing you will hear is; he was the best thing that happened to Nigeria, talk of Obasanjo, he was also the best, Goodluck Jonathan, you will hear things like he was better off compared to what we have now....soon Buhari will join the league of best presidents Nigeria has produce under democracy regime....then the next will be called all kinds of names once he starts to rule.

This was a comment by someone back in 2007 on the topic below.
: Lets Take Etteh Down Memory Lane by Nobody: 12:09pm On Oct 02, 2007
Yar'Adua is a very weak man and he's allowing Obasanjo to control him. Why is he allowing this? because of the shoddy April polls which he obviously did not win. OBJ brought him in through the back door, and Yar'Adua knows that if he cut loose from OBJ today, he will lose those cases pending against him and he will be thrown out of office.

Obasanjo was the main problem with Nigeria for eight years, and he's still the problem today. Let anybody challenge me on this statement, in fact I intend to start a thread on this.

Now if only selfish people like Muhammadu Buhari, Ojukwu, etc would withdraw their cases from the election tribunal maybe that would give Yar'Adua the infusion of courage he needs to sack Obasanjo completely.

But again, maybe Umaru Yar'Adua would simply substitute the Northern Mafia for OBJ. And the Northern oligarchy we all know have never had Nigeria's best interests at heart. Yar'Adua is not a good politician. He should have started building his own political base by now by putting his own people into strategic positions. Most his key men today were foisted on him by OBJ.

I think Nigerians deserves a better deal than this cowardly man is giving us. cry
