GloriousGbola:But European countries have a healthy mix of capitalism and Democratic socialism. The Nordic countries most especially continue to be a shining light of what Democratic socialism should be. A mix of capitalism and responsible welfare. The only question that has been asked is if their model can work in a much larger population seeing as most of their countries are under 10 to 15 million population. Havertz10 what do you think? I'm sure you're leaning towards Chinese communism. ![]() |
So after everything he landed on the fact that it is a revenue generation problem. ![]() |
See as this life dey. I opened Twitter and this was the very first thing I saw. Disstroy I know that this issue is being disagreed with because of the messenger, because I am the one saying it and people here feel I have flogged it to death but that doesn't take away from the truth. I keep sounding it, that tinubu and his supporters are going full blown tribal. It is what it is. This is hundeyin a yoruba guy, highlighting this same problem of narratives. Please read this carefully. Cc izzuo, blueraydick.

Meanwhile an insider giving us the scope. AN INSIDER!!! Giant 🚩🚩🚩

Of course the fool must define his position in opposite of whatever position I take.. so petty. ![]() |
afrodoc2:Exactly!! My post which he had replied to stated that if the author of that post was born in the west, he would have access to as much as student loan as he wanted, he would have had free primary and secondary school education, he would have been enrolled under nhis or medicare ie government healthcare, he would have been given food stamps that would take care of feeding, he would have been receiving unemployment benefits. Government would basically be subsidizing his living. Does Nigeria offer even half of those?? The problem is revenue generation and proper utilization. |
Omo, me sef shock oo. How will a citizen of this country say that out government is "doing too much" for it's citizens? ![]() No be juju be that? I get complaining or pointing out the inefficiencies of the system, from the inability to track the usage of the funds to the inability to adequately tax it's citizens and raise funds for good welfare. For christsake, Nigeria is one of the top exporters of crude oil that other nations have used judiciously, but we've somehow managed to make a mess of the whole thing. A001: |
DontBullshitMe:First I think you're wrong, especially on healthcare, however, there is no single country on this earth where the government doesn't provide a certain form of subsidy or the other. NO SINGLE GOVERNMENT. The issue is simply, the judicious use of the subsidy scheme and then THE SOURCE OF THE FUNDS. Countries who provide such subsidies or form of welfare do so from tax. Essentially it's the concept of the masses bank. Everyone pays into the system and we built services that everyone enjoys. So I don't think your problem about this should be the welfare or subsidy, but the adequate taxation and judicious use of the funds. |
Emaprince:Except the ones we've seen where someone goes to the crime section, sees a post about an old corpse and says I provoked that people of a certain tribe are cannibals and flesh eaters. Or better yet, is devoting time to propose legislation where people are to be evicted from a certain land because of their tribe and put in slave labor camps. Again, unprovoked. That's not bants, that's hatred. Sheer hatred. |
seankafor:The funny thing about this Darlington is that I'm sure that if were face to face, you can't say this rubbish, no capping. It would take me all of 30 seconds to put grass in your mouth. |
Itsrm:I hope they aren't armed. Is this in ph? |
Tataffo:What is this “personality" if I may ask? Describe it. |
Spy360:That's what to expect. Once someone dares call them out, they immediately seek to justify their sin by equation so as to silence others. 🤡 You know, when I first discovered raumdueter's tribalistic past, nihilist was the first to jump at dayo's defence and immediately set up this now common defence, ohh it's the moderators fault, it's the the threads fault, it's the sections fault, we can't blame someone whose evil comments spans 15 different years in the platform across multiple accounts. We must blame other factors except the mind that concocted the horrible words we were seeing That was until I discovered that he himself was even worse than the dayo. He himself would not only hound the Igbo people, he would persistently go after the moderators and frustrate the hell out of them. If his account was banned, he opened 4 more immediately to continue harrassing them. So don't be surprised, expect more of these attacks. Embrace them. nihilistjnr:
|
iamoyindamola:Like clockwork, he goes and brings out my old account. Nigga when last did you see me use that account that you keep posting?? What is the consequence of an account that is no longer in use?? Grow up!!! |
iamoyindamola:Nigga, stop following me about up and down. I no get business with you. You define your existence here by whatever I post, the reason is what I don't know, short dwarf. |
Imagine creating an account just to tackle me. 🤡🤡 |
iamoyindamola:Nigga grow the fvck up and stop behaving like a woman. Get over whatever beef you have nigga. Your problem with me started because I challenged your religion and Mohammed and called him a pedophile. Since that day, you no just gree free me. How many years now?? Na you be the first person dem dey disagree with pass? Myself and sege once disagreed heavily about juju, you don't see him transform that to hatred. Myself and Ibimee don disagree on several issues, you don't see him transform that to hatred. Myself and blueray have had severe disagreement, you don't see it transform to hatred, but you keep following me about for no reason. Grow up dude!! Once you and amoto see my post, your prick go stand immediately. You must react. The worst part Is how cowardly you are. You go just dey sideline dey throw shots up and down. Grow the fvck up nigga!!!! |
All within the last 48 hours. TOTALLY UNPROVOKED. nihilistjnr: nihilistjnr: nihilistjnr: nihilistjnr: |
And when I was calling out nihilist's provocation, someone said I'm whining like a woman. I should attack back immediately. Except, we've been down this road severally. I consistently call out the herd mentality on this section because it's always obvious. The same people who would rush out to call me out whenever we start are the same ones silent in the face of provocation by the aggressor. Everyone here knows the history between myself and nihilist over the years. We know very well how deeply layered and personal it gets. For example, distroy or whoever else I brawl with may insult me here, oh, you're a fool, an idiot_, Kevin Spacey and whatever convolution they may think of and I know it would end there, I know it's just words on the internet. I know he wouldn't bring up my dead relatives or take things offline. But with nihilist, this is very different, it doesn't end there, I know steps I've taken offline which is frankly embarrassing and then you see him trying to track old emails and literally dedicate time to edit webpages to invent false narratives. All these points to deep animosity between us. We truly hate each other beyond the bounds of this place. You all know it, so why can't a single soul stand up and say, nihilist why you no fit avoid this person? Why you dey wan start problem between una 2 again? Simple answer, HERD MENTALITY and SOFT INFLUENCE. I truly understand how group think works, it's something I've utilised in my own life, I've held certain leadership positions in my sphere of life and understanding how the group thinks is essential in leadership, knowing which buttons to press, who to cajole, how to shape narratives. Etc. Just that I don't care for such diplomatic ventures online. I like to be brash and say it as it is regardless of whose ox is gored. That soft influence and herd mentality is why no one here can tell raumduter that his behaviour on this forum pertaining to politics and tribe is absolutely terrifying. It is why no one can call out nihilist for his own history of hateful tribalism or unwarranted provocation. why? You know the answer. I really look forward to the first prominent poster here to break that siege mentality. |
I call bullshite! Total bullcrap. Yeah right, "victim mentality harvesters". Meanwhile here below we have 3 separate individuals with a solid history of saying the most vile things towards a particular tribe. But of Course, why should we blame them, let's push the blame to the moderators, let's push the blame to the thread it was written in, let's push the blame to the targets of the vitriol, who knows, they might have started it but what we shouldn't do is balme or assign responsibility to the individuals whose minds concocted these devilish talking points and formented the hate across several years.. Let's blame everybody but them and you know what, let's accuse the targets of these posts as being victim harvesters. 🤡🤡🤡
|
FBS:FBS, how do you see this headline, is it catchy enough for you? I would genuinely like to hear your opinion on it. Murife, don't run.
|
Just imagine this very stupid idiot_. Someone that has spent years insulting a tribe coming here to say they are forming victims. Na sango go visit you. ribbit: |
Wait oo, now I'm confused. I thought this "victim blaming" mentality was because I was calling out nihilist to refrain from provocation. Or abi is it the claims of tribalism that is being termed "victim blaming"?. Because it's as if my eyes are paining me with the gaslighting I'm seeing here. Imagine the person who said these, coming out here to say that we are forming victim mentality. is our God not a wonderful God? ![]() Imagine the fool who typed this latching unto the bandwagon of shouting victim mentality. And also, is it not funny that some people who were quick to defend the nonsenses from dayo are here rushing to claim that igbos are harvesting victim mentality? ![]()

raumdeuter:Very interesting read. The journey of life. The twists and turns. There are 2 things I basically thought about this story. 1. It highlights how our citizens are truly suffering and cannot depend on government on anything. Now, this guy is an orphan who had to live with multiple people who he just encountered, some of whom after some time disappointed him, and then some who helped him miraculously. He talked about how he almost committed suicide when there was no hope of paying that university fee until the secretary took pity on him and dashes him 12k just like that. That's almost miraculous. An angel appearing at the depth of his sorrows. Now here's the thing, In a western country, this guy would most likely have received help from his government, be it students loan for that school fees, food stamps for feeding, unemployment benefits to fall back on till he gets on his feet. And his mental health would have been protected. And lastly, being an orphan at such a young age, he would have been put in care of good foster parents, supervised by government and even receiving payment. That is what social safety nets from the government does. People's taxes pay for all these. And he wouldn't have had to almost kill himself before getting back on his feet. Reading that part highlighted my privilege that I personally tend to overlook. Now the 2ñd point, this guy highlights what I've been saying. All of us need to pick up an IT skill. He was able to escape poverty and make his first million by freelancing. I mean!!!! Freelancing of all things and he made the 3 million he used to then get his visa. At this point sef, left to me, I somehow think it was even too early to go, I'm speaking financially, or maybe because he hasn't spoke further on it, his last post states that he used the 3 million to process the visa. He didn't clarify whether work or student or how he intends to build on it. But if you're making 3 million in Nigeria, untaxed.m with potential to earn even more, then leaving the country means your path must be completely maples out there so you don't get drowned. But overall, his story is a triumph story. From absolute depths to highs. I really loved this. |
Latest professional nextier poll. A poll that has been consistent in accuracy since 2011 elections. Obi still the most popular candidate and maintains his edge in swing states. Obi performs better than other candidates outside his region.

You can see that for like 400 times, I have asked nihilist to stop poking, stop provoking. Nobody has chimed in to tell him to desist, when I decide to actually go down that route of problem with him, people would start cautioning here and there. Donjazet why can't you ignore, must you respond? Why must you engage him? Make una keep up the double standard oo. I will be in my lane, nihilist will keep looking for trouble over and over again. Looking to provoke a reaction. Only to go and start editing webpages and inventing narratives or calling up someone's dead relatives.. EVERYONE IS SILENT NOW! Okay oo. ![]() |
Only a fool will choose to deny what we're seeing this election period. Any social media thread where supporters of tinubu are active, you are most likely to see ethnocentric comments. Be it calling all obi supporters igbos or calling fellow non tinubu Yoruba supporters bastards. Was it not here that oasis brought pictures of labor party candidates, pictures which tinubu supporters were using as a tribal card by saying most of the contestants were igbos. Under qudus Twitter thread where that picture was made, you see comments like, "we yorubas are too hospitable, that is why this people go get mind". We have seen dayo say, "THE HOUSE IS PEACEFUL BECAUSE THE BASTARD HASN'T GROWN UP". Read that sentence by dayo again. THE HOUSE IS PEACEFUL BECAUSE THE BASTARD HASN'T GROWN UP. Trying to deny that TINUBU is not running a tribal campaign with Igbos as a target is simply burying your heads in sand. And I've said this before, I don't care that this is even happening to the tribe I come from, I care that it's happening to any tribe at all. We better stop this pretence. |
liveLongNprospa:Omo. I just thank God the elections are now days away. Hopefully these shenanigans all subside. It's tiring. |
And when I point out such sick divisive messages, it is that I'm the one looking for tribalism even when the dog whistles are very clear. 🥴 |
raumdeuter:Dayo, Nigerian elections are not just games like football, where it is just for viewing pleasure and entertainment. Nigerian elections determine the shape of our society and inadvertently people's life here. It is disheartening to see you continue to make a complete mockery of what we should be doing. It is unfathomable, how someone supposedly smart, saw the chaos, the disunity, the suffering in the country and ran away from them and after getting to that place of comfort, turn around and start fostering and advocating for the same factors that have brought Nigeria to where it is. I cannot for the life of me fathom how someone in a home in Texas would assiduously concern himself with such trivial issues such as rabid tribalism online. Just look at you now, posting a very divisive message, WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "WE MUST DELIVER LAGOS". And then posting the bad leaders of an eastern region? Was the aim not geared towards mocking igbos specifically in line with what you've been doing for years. HOW CAN YOU NOT REFRAIN FROM SUCH DIVISIVE NARRATIVES? WHAT IS TO GAIN BY HEATING UP THE POLITY LIKE THIS? And as far as you continue to make derogatory efforts towards our society and country, misleading and gaslighting people towards making a bad choice that affects not just the country but me included, I will continue to see you as a threat to our society and to myself. You can see that I do not engage you in other threads you're also as active as me, be it american politics thread or Chelsea thread. I avoid you but as far these elections are concerned and you continue to meddle negatively, I will call you out every opportunity that presents itself. |
raumdeuter:Dayo who are the "we" being referenced here? And what is the message of this post? |
Interesting analysis on the front page. The dramatic decline in Tinubu’s chances may not necessarily be a gain for Atiku Abubakar. Indications are that Rabiu Kwankwaso has excellent vote-catching skills, which he is deploying in the North-West zone. He is running a good campaign, is not too old, is in full control of his faculties and has bragging rights, given his good governance records from his two terms as Kano State governor. Kwankwaso remains a contender in the race.https://www.nairaland.com/7554734/2023-campaign-still-four-horse |
