DissTroy:Again! With the straw man arguments. You just keep inventing your falsehoods and running with it.. disstroy you normally produce receipts when you are countering someone, I'm surprised you haven't done so for this argument. I mean the fact that you had to type donjazet2 and tribalist and still did not provide a receipt to back your claim shows how faulty your argument is. And as for this "donjazet2 tribal" narrative, now you're just being coy and purposely mischievous. I've also been jovial in my approach with you because of how aligned we are but don't shake past the elbow, let this not head somewhere else. One could type donjazet2 and yellow teeth stained drug baron and see 50 pages, one could type donjazet2 peter obi and see 200 pages, one could type donjazet2 sick old man and see 500 pages. It means I'm very proactive on the thread. And yes, tribalism is an issue in this election, only a fool would deny that. Surprising that you yourself who have dug up even more points that buttress that fact is the one countering this. Infact I'm still confused as to the crux of your issue with this. Disstroy DO YOU BELIEVE TRIBALISM IS NOT A FACTOR IN THIS ELECTION?? IS GBADAMOSI WRONG IN HIGHLIGHTING THE ANTI-IGBO BIGOTRY HE'S SEEING IN LAGOS?? Have you not seen the antibigotry from some people here on this thread yourself?? So what really is the issue? |
Amoto94:Well disstroy, there you have it. Make of this, what you will. ![]() |
DissTroy:I see. I have beaten your false accusations which u used to attack me, now you resort to whataboutism? ![]() You yourself have used your own hand to expose the tribal or religious bigotry of some tinubu supporters. So what exactly is the point you're making?? Wasn't the point of all these to expose the decision making process of the pro-tinubu supporters?? Again I say, stop being defensive on anyone's behalf. People see through the point being made. No one is attacking all yorubas. Tinubu supporters are the people being highlighted. Just as you've soo diligently done. |
Disstroy, my post which basically started all these is from a Yoruba man himself. Get this, A YORUBA MAN is raising an alarm as to how tinubu supporters are drowning in anti-igbo bigotry. Well maybe just like treblechamp and every other non tinubu supporting Yoruba here, also feels aggrieved with what his eyes are seeing and ears are hearing on a daily basis.
|
DissTroy:You are consistently doing this and you should know better than to be using the straw man argument. You consistently produce a false narrative from thin air and then build a case around it. If you should make such an accusation as the bolded, then produce evidence. I have NEVER said that everyone who supports tinubu is ANTI-IGBO! I remember making this distinction with laride, I said laride supports tinubu not basically because of tribe but because of party. I remember using the analogy that APC could present a gorilla as a presidential candidate and laride would support it and try to convince us as to how gorillas are more organized than humans and it won't be bad to give a gorilla the chance to lead us. He wouldn't care which tribe the gorilla came from. I always substantiate my position with evidence. And yes, I did say that the vast majority of tinubu supporters do so because of tribal or religious inclination. And I used the sample of us on this board as an example. Almost every single tinubu supporter on this board is his tribesman while the non tribes person is there for shettima basically, While obi's is vastly diverse. And I recall you saying the exact same and even highlighting it better. You should stop this straw man arguments, no reason to feel that Yoruba people here feel attacked. I believe they see through what I'm saying. |
This is one of the most famous tinubu supporter on this forum. I'm just highlighting the least offensive tribal comments to show you how these tinubu supporters are. To him, once you're against tinubu, you are an emeka or shinedu. One cannot deny the tribal nature of the man's supporters. ihordspy: l.hordspy: l.hordspy: l.hordspy: lhordspy: l.hordspy: |
Theflint1:I think he knows this but is deliberately going off point. Nobody here has ever painted all YORUBAS with one brush. The focus has ALWAYS been on tinubu supporters. We have used our own eyes to see how rabidly tribalistic most of them have been. Not only dayo, but Jeozinho and recently toyidapo, people who see things majorly through tribal lens and whose reason for supporting tinubu is primarily " our son" inclination. |
DissTroy:This continues to be the fault line of your argument and dare I say mischievousness in its own right. I HAVE NEVER SAID THAT THE YORUBAS ARE THE ONE'S BEING TRIBALISTIC, I HAVE SPECIFICALLY SAID THAT TINUBU AND MAJORITY OF HIS SUPPORTERS ARE THE TRIBALISTIC ONE'S or at least parade xenophobic talking point. This is me in that same post. Yorubas are famed for their hospitality, but tinubu's ACN urchins have undoubtedly sowed seeds of discord for the past decade.Mind you, tinubu's supporters are not only Yorubas but also of other tribes but you see even tinubu supporters of other tribes stoking ethnic tensions. For example, there is a popular IGBO supporter of tinubu on Twitter called chigozirim aliyu. You would be surprised to hear some of the things coming out of this guy's mouth towards igbos in Lagos too. You know their famous talking points, how igbos came with nothing from their poor villages to enjoy a Lagos that tinubu built. That's an IGBO tinubu supporter right there, spouting xenophobic talking points. What black Americans would call a coonhead. When We talk about tinubu's supporters being tribalistic, we're not just talking of his Yoruba supporters but all of them. Their singular weapon has been tribalism OF WHICH IGNOS HAVE BEEN PRIME TARGETS!! To deny this is to play an ostrich. Please make this distinction clear, when we talk about tinubu's goons, we don't mean ALL YORUBAS. Tinubu or his goons does not speak for all YORUBAS so know that no "tribe" is being attacked. |
MY PRESIDENT!!!! THE SHINING LIGHT OF AFRICA'S DEMOCRACY. The man who has lit a flame of unflinching patriotism in the nigerian project. Nigerians can only dare to dream of what her potential could actualize into. A man that has singlehandedly redefined the political space in a nation of 200 million people. There were Soo many naysayers when he began, but somewhere, somehow this man won their hearts over to him. I speak for all when I say, we can't wait to start addressing him as HIS EXCELLENCY, GCFR!
|
GloriousGbola:If I'm not mistaken, a soldier can't be prosecuted in civilian court right?? Meaning that only the military can punish their own. |
OasisX:Oasis', unless you choose to play the ostrich, you can see with your own eyes the anti-igbo bigotry being run by tinubu urchins on the frontpage or our own resident Hitler here who advocated for igbos residing in Lagos to be put in slave labor camps. Go to the front page, see who is calling who "children of hate" or born with hatred. Or the tacit celebration of violence in the east. What gbadomosi said is nothing but the truth!. Yorubas are famed for their hospitality, but tinubu's ACN urchins have undoubtedly sowed seeds of discord for the past decade. In his quest to dominate the region politically, he is serving Yorubas a "common enemy". This tactics is straight out of the playbook of every dictator. Give them a common enemy, feed their fears of them "displacing you" so as to create an an image of yourself as the savior. Don't play the ostrich my brother. Say the truth. |
GloriousGbola:Is there even any sort of accountability in the nigerian military? Do we every hear of any of them being court martialed or discharged dishonorably? |
PDP chieftain in Lagos raises serious alarm on Twitter. Highlights all we've been saying here for months.

Spy360:I've said it before, these people will talk absolute nonsense. All of us will know it's nonsense they're saying including the person saying it but we will laugh it off as "renovation" or "Amala". Just like what I was reading here last week. We all saw the pictures of bullion van in tinubu's compound. WE ALL KNOW WHAT WAS IN THE BULLION VAN AND THE AIM OF THE MONEY. Then someone who is smart will come here and start asking you, "how do you know what is inside"? "Can you prove what the money was really used for"? A very foolish attempt to gaslight, and people would just smile, and call it renovation. No it's not renovation. It's a stupid attempt to gaslight people and mislead them into making wrong choices. |
Spy360:Well said. Obi is just one lucky man. Everything just seems to be falling into place for him. I'm sure him too will be shocked by the level he has been elevated to in this country. He's become one of the most influential people in the country in just 6 months. It's astonishing. |
The boys in the jungle have spoken. The matured jungle boys have made their choice. The inner creeks have spoken.

Very enlightening clip. I never knew okon was this eloquent and brilliant. I have to listen more to this nedu guys podcast. https://fb.watch/irOno67W1-/?mibextid=6aamW6 |
OasisX:Exactly!! The only thing that gives you Batists joy. A situation where a governor will find all means, ethical and unethical, to get votes even if the people themselves already have their eyes on someone. Those pictures you see there, telling yourself the truth, which candidate do you think they would prefer to vote? As usual, structure of criminality is all you guys celebrate. Such a pity. |
Good one. You are finally doing the right thing. |
BlueRayDick:They didn't say he isn't guilty of the crime, just that the complainant has withdrawn the case. Seems the two of them made up. I still remember that video or rather audio. It's very plausible he had penetrated her without consent or rather forcefully. That she has decided to forego the issue doesn't mean he didn't do it. |
Forget this nonsense of this affecting all APC candidates, that's a spinners narrative.. It's aimed at brandishing the buhari policy or the man himself as being wicked. While that is true as to his governance, this particular act isn't necessarily him being wicked. It is him trying to actually stop vote buying but not implementing it correctly. They should have made sure there is enough currency for circulation much earlier than now. BTW, isn't it funny that the people who never dared to criticize buhari before but defending all his heinous practices as president have suddenly found their voice's now that the man has decided that he must oversee a fair election? ![]() |
Emaprince:I beg to disagree with you. I believe that this policy was purely a design to mitigate vote buying as buhari himself has said. But I believe that they didn't factor in the poor implementation of the policy or the ensuing rancor that it would cause.. I don't think this policy was designed with the aim of inconveniencing the masses. It was aimed at disrupting money laundering. Don't forget that on election, 2 full bullion vans of hard currency were in someone's compound used to induce hungry voters. That practice was the target. Not the masses. |
OasisX:This!!!
|
OasisX:I will have believed all these things oo. If only I believed bat himself understand those sentences. We don pass these era of APC deceit. Nigerians are saying a big NO!!
|
Make una look the date of this article. Make una ronu oo. ![]()

Make we no go vote for person wey go be buhari 2.0. Make we no begin miss buhari. The signs are there.

Pat utomi publicly voiced out weeks ago that some top APC stalwarts are not backing tinubu because of health reasons.. Tinubu's brother in-law, remi's brother publicly stated some months ago that tinubu is sick and is much older than he potrays. I mean, by this time last year, many of the top brass were visiting tinubu in his hospitals in foreign countries. Both Paris and London. They all knew that the man was not well. I'm sure many were shocked to watch him declare his candidacy the minute he returned from his sick bay and another repair and replace session. It's no coincidence that not a single top southern APC executive is publicly backing tinubu. From osinbajo to amaechi to akpabio, to ngige to ogbonnaya onu to even the serial pastor contestant. All these men are either silent or against him. That should tell us all we need to know. This man is SICK!!!! We better not ignore all these giant huge flags. |
When you see the way BATstards are lamenting over buhari, you absolutely feel that the man is doing the right thing currently. I'm talking about mitigating the act of vote buying, stopping agberos in Lagos and ensuring a national free and fair election. He may be a hypocrite but he is absolutely being a good hypocrite.. almost like an armed robber stopping a robbery. Yes he's an armed robber but in this case, his actions are good. I mean what are the alternatives that Batists wish for, that he lets the politicians do as they wish in their states. That he lets inec be compromised or worse supports bat despite knowing the man is as incapable as he is. BUHARI, THE GOOD HYPOCRITE!! |
BlueRayDick:They are still stuck in 2014 I see. ![]()
|
OasisX:The joker that gives you headache. we continue the neck pressing for 24 more days.Meanwhile do you know that for some people, this post below is the singular reason this man has earned their vote. You just gotta duff your heart for integrity when you see it.
