I see the APC propaganda arm are in action on this thread. Nigerians better wise up. These Pro APC accounts are not casual users like you or I, it's a full time job for them for which they are paid. The APC digital media team is tasked with manipulating public opinions. One person opens multiple accounts and then they generate fake likes and then multiple comments amongst themselves. Don't fall for it. Hear it from the owners mouth himself.

Emaprince:There is no shege these evil people wouldn't show us. No evil tool they wouldn't employ. I hope people here wouldn't let themselves be decieved by people who are far away from the consequences of this administration. |
Turns out Afterall, APC are using the "fundraising portal" as an avenue to launder bulk money for the campaign. Nigerians should please be very wise. By now nobody should be telling you, an average Nigerian the best choice moving forward. 8 years is a significant part of your life. Think of that. |
So APC opened portal and politicians themselves started donating. ![]() This is why I keep highlighting the difference between a people-led movement and the corrupt establishment. Meanwhile it's beautiful to see the hypocrisy and swift turnaround from the BATstards who less than 24 hours ago were raining abuses on Obidients for their fundraising efforts. Nigerians better shine your eyes oo. 8 years is not a joke.

OasisX:You did not acknowledge my hailing oo. ![]() Why are you running? ![]() [quote author=Donjazet2 post=118768798]Oasis my guy, I sight you. You are doing well. ![]() ] |
The comments here are something else. ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/7456454/labour-party-challenges-tinubu-open |
Theflint1:As usual. ![]() No cross-examination, no Q and A session, no interview granted, just reading scripted speeches written by paid professionals. Nigerians would be fools to fall this kind of dubious packaging again. NEVER AGAIN!!
|
Oasis my guy, I sight you. You are doing well. ![]()

genius43:It's really impressive how you go about helping and informing people here. It's rare to see such altruism, what is your endgame? What is your personal benefit? No one can be this good for the sake of it. ![]() |
Oasis, give me the autobiography of your candidate. Na beg I dey beg you. Tinubu did not fall down from the sky.. he passed through a vagina like all of us did. Please WHOSE did he pass through?? Who be Tinubu papa? Oasis I'm even ready to pay you for this information, name your price. Just supply the biography of the man who you love soo much, this can't be too difficult to ask.
|
OasisX:I wonder what happened to the people that told us these. People who you are wishing to continue their misrule.
|
OasisX:Are you trying to mock this person?? What if his followers ask for confirmation of this said ordeal and it happens to be true, would you still maintain this condescending sarcasm towards a potentially terrible ordeal?? Do you know that the Obidient movement have indeed helped several of its members? There was a man in Lagos who criticizes Tinubu constantly and was then attacked and hit with a car. Obidients funded his treatment and relocation. Same thing with the Chioma girl whose pictures have become an emblem of the campaign, she was awarded scholarship, what of the Obi flag boy who was attacked? The Obidients personally saw to his well being, so if this is some sort of mockery aimed at the Obidients, I'm sorry to tell you, you failed woefully. We're human beings with a large compassionate heart that attends to the downtrodden amongst us. We're not bloodsuckers like BATstards who enjoy wickedness like you've just exhibited. |
Ihebu4chelsea:I strive to reject such pessimistic mindset. I know rigging happens but I believe that with a much higher citizen participation and the new laws in effect with the just concluded governorship elections, rigging would be absolutely diminished. |
All patriotic Obidients with hearts of gold and who also hope for a better Nigeria should please walk the talk and put your money where your mouths are. Sacrifice what you can for the sake of the movement and campaign. God bless and replenish your pockets.
|
Oasis what is happening? I thought your party doesn't do crowdfunding? Kiloshele?
|
Ihebu4chelsea:That's purely because of rigging factor which we're hoping will be non-existent. In a free and fair election, Obi wins Tinubu hands down. |
Street poll in Kaduna south. Obi leads, atiku second, yellow teeth..... 3rd. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2Pq9Yp6nk4 |
Nirvana101:If not anything, online polls are a huge moral booster to the winning team. There is a sense of satiety that comes from knowing Soo many other people are aligned with your perspective. You feel more vindicated with your stance. This is just the pyschlogical merit oo. Secondly what happened, so sad to hear you can't vote, what's the issue? |
raumdeuter:This is because of the Nigerian rigging factor. Let me ask you this, do you think our election numbers are accurate?? No? If the official numbers are 20 million, you remove about 30 percent of those numbers due to rigging factor. Politicians who write results in some places or thumbprint multiple ballot sheets. We're just counting on INEC being free. But in a free and fair election, Obi dusts other candidates hands down. |
wman:Ohh, but it does! It's a rough sample of opinion measuring. More than 100 online polls have been conducted in the past 4 months. Both from accounts supporting different candidates and across different media platforms and ALL OF THEM Obi wins with a very very large margin. Go to front-page, Pro Obi likes are always more than Pro APC likes even though APC people manipulate some for theirs. What this shows you, is that majority of literate voters lean heavily towards a candidate. It tells you that more people support this person. Now couple this with street polls and professional polls and you get a very credible picture. If the election is free and fair and there is very high turnout, OBI WINS. |
Ellexy:Well said. If we don't vote, these people will determine our leaders just for a small token while we suffer with the consequences. Not voting is cowardice! Not voting is stupidity! Nobody escapes the effects of misrule and terrible governance. No one!
|
Just Obidients dominating everywhere as usual. ![]() Is there any single person on this thread who doesn't have an Obidient family member?? Lie na make we see.
|
Like Cameroon like Ghana. |
Ghana might surprise us oo. |
I'm still yet to hear practical solutions from the Obi naysayers. Nigeria keeps drowning every single day and people are looking at ways to stem the bleeding and further drop, someone says disintegration, well that's not happening any time soon, Japa? I've not seen any country where all its citizens fled because of problems, what I've seen is them get their shit together and turn their fortunes around. Eg Rwanda, Singapore, Malaysia, India etc so what can we Nigerians do to try and change the fortunes of this country if not vote for the obviously best candidate of the 3 frontrunners? Because I'm not seeing any solutions from the Obi naysayers, all I see is a melancholic celebration of pessimism. Like there's a certain joy to be derived from spreading hopelessness or watching people give up. Well Nigerians are choosing to be high on hope, where you see darkness, we see light. We choose to believe in the odds of good leadership turning the wheels of our nation's fortune and that's why you see the enamored passion and commitment towards elevating a minority to become the ruling. If you still choose to spread pessimism, that's on you. We seek solutions, not giving in to hopelessness. |
izzou:I said he would cut the cost of governance and bring better transparency to our institutions, going by his own antecedents in office. Nass is just an aspect, there are other areas where he would do that that would be very impactful. Slash the salaries and amoluments of government appointees. Ministers, head of parastatals etc who inflate bonuses and contracts. Stories like amaechi awarding contract to an unknown company or aliases, bloated ministerial budgets, bloated villa budgets etc. These are areas where impacts of cost of governance will be felt. As for nass budget, Obi has said that there is something called political will, that if he leads by example, others will be bound to follow. If the populace sees that the presidency is pulling all stops to actively reduce the cost of governance, that create optical pressure on the national assembly members. Secondly, the labour party is going to have some elected members of assembly, senators and house of rep that will form a caucus or coalition that leads the charge in the house for a slashing of bloated budgets and salaries. This coupled with public pressure and executive pressure is bound to have an effect on nass' budget. Also the strengthening of the efcc that enables it actually do itd job and go after corrupt public officials. One of obi's selling point is his relative integrity. Tinubu and atiku simply can't use anticorruption as a selling point. You see that none of his supporters is even bordering about this. That tells you all you need to know. |
Ellexy:Very well put. This picture below captures it well. Many foolish people who are privileged to have the right to vote but choose to sit aside while bad leaders keep messing with their destinies. Just think of what Cameroonians or North Koreans would give to be able to have the opportunity to elect their leaders.
|
Ellexy:You go fear agenda na. ![]() The swift turnaround from nobody can save Nigeria to bat can save Nigeria. ![]() While regurgitating the same propaganda talking point. Track record when Lagos remains one of the worst cities to live in despite resources and factors that shouldn't make it so. Anyone who lives in Lagos will tell you that things are just as bad in terms of quality of life as any other place. From poor traffic network, to high cost of living, to crime etc. The state has money but it's not being channeled properly because it's used to fund a national party. |
Ellexy:It's really very painful to see because people clearly don't understand the privilege we have of choosing our leaders. Just look at the countries surrounding us, some with military dictatorship, some with faux democracies that have dictators and no hope in sight. Look at our next door neighbours Cameroon. One president for 40 years and he has spent the last 5 years living in France while ruling in absentia. Meanwhile in Nigeria, we're privileged to change bad leaders and people are still forming fencesitters. Tufia! |
izzou:This sounds a lot like complaining to me izzou:This sounds a lot like complaining to me. Something we've all been doing Soo much for the past 8 years. I mean, it's just highly irrational that someone that knows a situation is bad wouldn't want to cling unto what would look like a solution but rather choose to resign himself to hopelessness and cowardice. It just makes no sense whatsoever. I mean, if your house is burning, do you just resign yourself to death rather than put a fight?? You complaining about bad governance and sitting on the sidelines makes absolutely no sense! None whatsoever. It's just illogical. |
Itsrm:You should know that journalists and security personnel don't vote because of their jobs. But he's passing a good message. A message that those who don't vote are part of the problem. |
