Why not take time to write him a letter detailing everything. The time, the circumstances that led to the act, the years of remorse and feeling of guilt you have carried along with you. Especially how sorry and ashamed you are that you have failed him and your family. Pour out your heart and beg for forgiveness yet be ready to accept the cosequences because no one really knows how he may take it. Why I am suggesting writing him a long letter is because you may not be afforded the time or tolerance to explain yourself if you chose an oral confession, he may just throw you out within 30 seconds without wanting to listen to anything else you want to say, but with a letter, he will have something to go back to and re-read to try to understand the many questions that will certainly rage within him. This will be very painful for him, no doubt about that. Writing down the whole story may also serve as some sort of healing and relief for you too even before sending him the letter. Lastly, be prepared for the worst, make sure you have some money to take care of yourself should you find yourself thrown out, prepare yourself emotionally too to brave the consequences. Cheating in marriage is very hurtful to the cheated partner and to some extent even the cheating partner gets hit emotionally too as in your case. Based on your confessions here, I'm certain you won't attempt that again, I hope your husband sees it that way too. Finally, finally, suicide is never ever the solution but it wouldn't hurt to mention you have thought about it in your letter so he will know to what extent you regret your mistakes. Good luck and may God save your marriage. |
HITTED:Be careful what you wish for. A father who just one hour after you and his daughter has been joined together as ONE, singles her out and gifts her a car in the full glare of the wedding guests is sending you some strong non-coded messages among which are; 1.) He doesn't see you as the head of the newly created family otherwise it should have been both of you together he will hand over the car keys. 2.) No matter the circumstances, in the event of any misunderstanding, you will always be the one at fault. 3.) He is trying to intimidate you already with money. etc, etc. I wouldn't want to have a FIL that will do that, not on the wedding day at least because it will leave a lasting impression on the guests that her father will continue to bankroll my marriage. A real man will understand. |
Do we have "unarmed" police in Nigeria ? |
HardMirror:Bro., the unlock knob of my car will not yield any result if the security lock is on. They actually managed to get to it with their special wires and pulled and pulled but nothing happened, nothing. When BMW a multi billion dollar firm with generations of technology experience builds something and guarantees their customers that except by smashing the windshield or windows, the doors won't open, then please take them by their word. The security package I'm talking about costs as much as 7000€ extra on a new car ! You can't charge that much for something a Nigerian panel beater will dislodge in minutes or hours. This is not to say I don't know how crafty and smart our Nigerian panel beaters and technicians are but some things are just beyond simplicity. |
AntiWailer:Most certainly not a BMW with security package like mine bro. Happenned to me last year whereby I mistakenly dropped the keys in the booth while loading stuffs inside and slammed it shut and that was how my agony began. Called BMW road emergency and they asked me if my car is equipped with security package, I said yes and they told me nobody can open it, not even them. Only alternative I have will be to order for a new key from BMW headquarters in München ( note that I stupidly kept the spares inside the glove box). The BMW callcenter guy then gave me off-record a number of a Polish locksmith firm he knew that specializes in such hardnut cases. I called them, they came and used all their tools and wits for over an hour to get any of the doors, windows or the booth to even open a little without success. My car had to spend 3 days on a busy road before I got new keys to open it because I wouldn't have them smash open a 300 Euros car window and then go on to destroy the glove box to retrieve the spare because I locked it too with a separate key that the central lock won't activate. I don't know of other cars but bro., your panel beater can not open a BMW equipped with security package and most BMW cars doesn't come with this package because it's part of the optional expensive Extras. |
I'm more focused on that white Mercedes SUV with Police registration plates. Is that a police officer's car or could it be what I'm thinking ? |
Dude has more gear than that of 10 genuine police officers combined. |
eminikansoso:Market forces eh kwa ? When the hoarders a.k.a. Market forces start again to hoard dollars and cause artificial scarcity which in turn will send the Naira tumbling again we will begin to blame CBN for allowing the few real market forces to suffer the masses! |
She can't chose between both of you ? She has already chosen but you are not the chosen one. She's only trying to provoke you to be the one to end the relationship and if you ask me, I'll say do what Britain did today, activate Article 50 to break away ! That's definitely not your woman. |
Op maybe you should research more and tell us how many plastic surgeries the younger looking ones like Stallone has undergone before we judge their looks. |
Maybe Churchill got a good "buy one, get one free" deal. |
He definitely doesn't know much about how diversified Mercedes is. Mercedes Trucks, Buses, SUVs, limousines; A, B, C,E,G,M,R,S,V classes and the list goes on. kulikuli45: |
This development is life threatening. Please anyone who knows how this could get to the governor and the responsible authorities should help the populace by pushing this to them. I doubt if they don't know about it though because this black soot is practically everywhere! Port harcourt residents, don't let this one slip, this is about our health and that of our children. |
Is Osun State a local govt. or why are they getting that paltry sum ? |

And who is that "someone" i stole his Post ? From which Forum ? You could ask me to prove my claim but not assume what you don't know. All i need to do is walk into bathroom and snap my collection for you doubting thomas. Btw, perfumes are no big deal, some people just like them, while others disregard them. Having a collection of perfumes is nothing to brag about. I posted what i am currently using as the OP asked and I can prove it, so go find your level. pendusky: THEY ASK U TO SHARE THE ONE URE USING NOT SOMEONE POST IN ANOTHER FORUM |
The One - Dolce & Gabbana ( the scent of the modern city guy, i find this quite cool. Not long lasting though ) Versace Pour Homme ( people keep asking for the name anytime i wear it ) Opium - Yves Saint Laurent ( too strong in my opinion. Long lasting. I don't wear it often. Its even stronger in winter time) Only the Brave - Diesel ( really nice scent but doesn't last long ) Le Male - Jean Paul Gaultier ( this is one of my favs ) Armani Code Sport - Armani ( I'm still yet to start using this one so i can't tell the effect it will have on my body ) Obsession - Calvin Klein ( strong note, an old yet positive perfume, not for everyday use though IMO ) Sculpture - Nikos ( Ahh.. I love this, gives me that fresh-from-shower scent blast, doesn't last as long as i would wish though ) Boucheron ( Too, too strong and has a ridiculous price tag on it, the only time i followed all those online reviews and ordered without testing. This perfume is made for aristocratic money bags, some people say it has the smell of money all over it. Definitely not an everyday perfume ) .... and the list goes on. I just realized i could be a perfume freak , counted over 20 bottles. |
Thanks Bro. umeadi21: ; |
To the experts in the house, I have just the same model of the advertised car (mine is manual though) that has just broken down ( two cylinders are no longer working). This is going to be expensive to repair in Europe, so my question is, will it cheaper to repair in Naija? Anyone can direct me to a shop that can fix it in Lagos or Port Harcourt? Thanks. Op, pardon me for hijacking thread, I just thought my issue is not worth opening a new thread. |
okpara ugo: I can introduce you to cement 2 manufacturers in Nigeria and build a distribution network for you to sell. I can also introduce you to transportation business if we meet face to face. You dont need an office to run these 2 businesses. Your money is secure and returns assured. 08183816811.Thanks. Where are you based ? I am interested in the two businesses you mentioned i.e. if by transportation you mean Haulage cos I'm not really keen on public transport. Done that before and it didn't work out. |
king9952: The guy i quote>>The guy i quote>>He basically took these words out from my mouth. I too reside in US, Houston Texas to be precisely, talking of doing business like trucking in US without any headache like ridiculous govt strict regulation is pure dellusional, yes the roads here are heavenly, the insurance are solid as well, but some underline factors left behind were strict govt regulation when it comes to small business, oh, lets talk about heavey duty tax, IRS, STATE TOLLS,DOT NIGHTMARE which can actually put your trucking business out of its misery by heavey sanction, yes NAIJA IS rough and raw, there are some adverse factors that could hurt any business not just trucking business, but with strict carefull vesting process will put anyone over the edge to success, truthfully, they said all men are created equall but not all creat and work equall, i have already purchased 5 DAF Truck through my agent in belgium and ready to get dirty in my naija land trucking business and nothing or any failure experience will detour my ambition.@ King9952, please what are the years of manufacture of the DAF trucks you bought ? Can you tell me the particular models you bought and their tonnage ? Thank you. I am also heading into Haulage and is determined to succeed. I am going to personally monitor my business and put greed far away from me. |
Please can anyone enlighten me on how to go about getting a NAFDAC number for importation of goods. How much does it cost ? How long does the process last ? Where do i process the application ? Thank you. |

spyder880: On dry land the quote is too much (without DPC), target to spend about N1.1m at most without the German floor for the flats and N650k at most for the duplex. But in the end every site is not the same, are there factors which may have informed this hike in anyway?Oga Spyder, please can you give me a rough estimate of the cost of building a 3 Storey building of a total of 8 flats ( 4x 2 Bedrooms flat and 4x 3 bedroom flats ) in Port Harcourt. Land is already available. On another note, have you ever considered writing an ebook on how to build a house from Start to Finish ( subdivided into Storey buildings, duplex, bungalow ) ? With your wealth of knowledge and experience trust me, the book will be a hit. A lot of us out there who will at least love to monitor the works and our builders and save costs. Give it a thought abeg or at least open a new thread that is dedicated on how to build from foundation to finishings. I am about to start my house next year and will like to learn from you since you do not operate in Port Harcourt area. Thank you Sir. |
Thank you so far for your inputs. |
Hello House, What Business can one invest in with 20 Million Naira in Nigeria ? Not stocks or internet start-ups rather tangible and grounded businesses like Major Distributorship or Production. Thank you for your contributions. |
Wow ! This Thread is very educative especially for non-residents who most times have no idea about costs of materials and labour. Thank you Oga Spider. Please do you also handle jobs in Port Harcourt ? I hope to develop a double plot land there in future. Though i have already drawn the Architectural Plan for a 3 Storey building with the last as a Pentfloor, meaning renting out Ground Floor, First and Second floors with each having 2 flats, now i am seriously thinking of cancelling out the second floor entirely. My question is, do i have to draw a new plan or can the old plan be amended in a way or even have a way of building along with that plan and simply ignore the second floor therein ? Thanks in advance for your answer. |
infofirst: DoneInfo-first please help me out with the system. Thank you bros in advance. My email is emmazonas@aol.com |
