CultureHow Is A Chicken Slaughtered In Your Culture? by Donmams(op):
There are diverse ways of killing a chicken in our different cultures. Some are downright funny and others are simply horrible. I know of cultures that just prefer to twist the neck of a chicken 360 degrees! Damn!
As for my culture, we just get a sharp knife, say the chickens last prayers and voila! Let's have your say. How are chickens slaughtered in your culture?
Politics2015: GEJ Unites The North by Donmams(op): 9:13am On Dec 01, 2013
GEJ thinks northerners are like Igbos that he can buy off with money. The President is ready to shell out trillions so that they can help him rig the 2015 elections. This is why he has been amassing trillions of naira with the help and support of Diezani.
However, GEJ's actions and utterances ever since his election in 2011 has seriously wounded the pride of the north. He claimed that it was the igbos that voted for him in the north when he and everyone else knew it was the northern elites who he bribed with billions in 2011 that got him the 25% he desperately needed. No matter how much he gives as bribe to the northern elite, they will be only too keen to show GEJ that the 25% he got in 17 of 20 northern states in 2011 was not from the igbos.
In addition, PEJ was quoted about 6 months ago in PH thanking traditional rulers in the state for helping to defeat the 'northerners' in 2011. The North will only be so happy to show PEJ that it was their own doing that allowed GEJ to win elections and not some obscure traditional rulers in PH.
Another fatal mistake made by GEJ is marginalising the north and muslims completely in his administration. He presided over the killing of Gen. Mamman Shuwa, the attempted killing of Ado Bayero and other prominent northern personalities. If GEJ thinks for a second that the North believes it was the work of Boko Haram then he must be S.T.U.P.I.D.E.R than he looks. As a matter of fact the north knows very well that GEJ's invisible hand is all over the protracted Boko Haram crisis in Borno and Yobe. There is also the problem of Marginalization of Muslims in recruitment into Nigerian security apparatuses. It is all too clear that GEJ has an agenda and the north can no longer fold its hands and watch as GEJ systematically destroys the north.
Consequently, no one in the north believes the spate of bombing attacks that bedevilled the north that died down after the death of Gen. Azazi was simply a coincidence.
The truth is GEJ has united the north to stand firmly against his reelection plans because quite frankly it is a do or die affair for the north. The north simply can't survive 4 more years of GEJ. GEJ is desperate to destroy the north politically, economically, socially and militarily as his all too obvious ploys and schemes have shown. For the north, fighting against GEJ is but a matter of survival. Nothing unites a people more than the threat of extinction. GEJ is that threat. The people of the north will sing with one voice in 2015: 'Down with GEJ'.

So what is the problem with a muslim muslim ticket. Over 90% of northerners are muslims. Over 80% of southwesterners are muslims. And these two regions have over 75% of the nation's voting strength. Gone are the days when muslims pandered to christian interests. The christians have ruled nigeria for 14 years since the return of democracy because muslims were tired of complaints of marginalization. So when we gave obasanjo the presidency he filled his cabinet with over 70% christians. GEJ is even worse. Since Christians have shown that they are even worse at marginalization, they better shut the hell up! You had your chance and you blew it

Y dint they pick Ameachi or better still Adams Oshiomhole that dont brandish ethnic and religious sentiments? APC has failed already, in whatever guise they come, we know them. Nigeria dont need leaders without principles.
You don't find it a wee bit hypocritical that you tagged all the muslims as brandishing religious sentiments while the christian candidates seem to be sentiment-free! My friend drop your sentiments!
PoliticsRe: Time For APC To Prove Their Progressiveness And Make Amaechi Thier Flag Bearer by Donmams(m): 1:32pm On Nov 27, 2013
Now that the G7 have officially joined the APC train (worry not, even Lamido and Babangida Aliyu will soon join), the plot to remove Jonathan in the 2015 elections should be underway immediately. There are 20 northern states (if you include Abuja) and GEJ will be hoping to get 25% of the votes in the north just as he did in 2011. However, this time, the difference is that GEJ no longer has the support of the G-7 governors who tactically engineered the required 25% of northern votes he needed to successfully rig the 2011 elections.
In addition, to show the world just how politically naive he is, GEJ decided to marginalize the entire South West in the scheme of his gov't in favour of the SE despite the fact that GEJ got over 70% of SW votes in 2011. Right now the SW, has aligned with the north and is set to deliver a crushing blow to the GEJ in 2015.
The objective for 2015 is simple. Deny Jonathan the much sought after 25% in the South West and North and the elections will be over in the very first round. No run off will ever be needed.
In 2011, the northern governors were in full support of Atiku before GEJ made the memorable threat to 'sink' the PDP ship with everyone on it if the northern governors refused to support him. Now the threat is no longer viable. The governors have left the PDP and have challenged GEJ to sink the Ship! Unfortunately for GEJ this time around, he's the only one on it!
The mistake the north made in 2011 was not coming out en masse to vote for the CPC by averaging a voter turnout of just 50% in the entire region. In 2015, just like the PDP managed to mobilize over 90% of the eligible voters of the South South and South East to vote, the north will make sure we mobilize over 95% of our eligible voters to vote out GEJ and the bandit party PDP in the 2015 election.
A 2/3rd majority in the 36 states plus Abuja means for the APC to win by landslide in 2015, the APC needs at least 24 states. The APC is guaranteed 25% in all but 2 northern states(Plateau and Benue). That makes 18 states. What is left to make up 24 states is just 6 states. Luckily, the north has aligned itself with the South West. As an added bonus, the SW with 6 states will provide the 25% needed to make up the balance. In addition, the governors of Rivers, Edo and Rivers are also members of the APC who will bring further votes in 2015. GEJ can have 100% of the votes of the South South and South East(minus Imo). It will make no difference.
If GEJ and his advisers had half a brain they would have told him that he could not afford to let the G7 governors flee. But as things stand, GEJ, and in extension the SS and SE is toast politically.
Never will the NORTH/SW AXIS TRUST THE SS/SE AGAIN

After that, the North and SW can have the federal power if they want!
You must be joking if you think that conference will amount to anything. The fact is the SS/SE willingly betrayed this country by their open show of discrimination and favoritism. Since GEJ has decided to form a gov't of SS/SE and for the SS/SE alone, we'll see how far that takes him in 2015. The havoc the SS/SE have wreacked on this country will take decades to set right. And the first step to correct the damage is to make sure no SS/SE person is allowed anywhere near political power ever again. Democracy is a game of numbers. And unfortunately for the SS/SE, your numbers just don't add up!

Nairaland GeneralThe Six Major “sins” Committed On Facebook by Donmams(op): 11:59am On Nov 26, 2013
Facebook is a social networking site meant for old friends to reconnect and make new ones. In some cases, some people place adverts of the kind of businesses they do. But, in Nigeria, people have been exploiting the platform the site provides to express their fancies. To some critics, some expressions constitute an abuse.

Let’s discuss some of them:

1) Silly names: It is a common trend on facebook to see people anglicising their Nigerian names. “Oladimeji Ayo” are spelt “Horladhemehji ‘swaggerboy’ Haryor”, while “Funmilayor Adekunle” are twisted to be “Phunmilayor ‘dopegurl’ Hardehkunle.” Owners of the names argue the bastardisation expresses class and modernity. But to proud traditionalists, what’s classy about altering one’s natural names?

2) Unnecessary uploads: Uploading photos isn’t a crime but when it becomes an every second, every minute, every hour affair, you would be clogging people’s timeline, thereby making facebook uninteresting. It also portrays how jobless you are.

3) Abusing another person’s wall: Another big “sin” committed on facebook is when two people go to someone else’s wall and start a very long conversation as if they are sitting in their living room. Whatever happened to that thing called ‘inbox’? It’s weird and totally annoying.

4) Posts: You have your own home page; as such you have the right to make as many posts as you want. But do you know it gets on people’s nerves to see your updates every minute, every second? What message are you sending across about yourself? It clogs people’s timeline and at a point, your friends would get tired of seeing your updates.

5) Commenting on everybody’s posts/pictures: This is one of the major sins of facebook. That your friends write posts or even upload photos doesn’t mean you should make comments on every Tom, Dick and Harry’s update or photo. You are not the only one who see these posts or comments. So why comment on them every time?

6) Asking unimportant questions via inbox: This is one sin a lot of people are guilty of especially the menfolk. It is so annoying when someone who you are not even friends with just sends you a random message on facebook via inbox and says, “Hi pretty, can I get to know you?” Or perhaps he says, “I just saw your pictures and I fell in love with you immediately”. In this age, who does that please? Have your manners suddenly flown out of the window? It’s a turn-off, a very big one.

People need to seriously consider their use of the social network and check if they are guilty of any of these sins. If they are, then they need to call themselves to order and make the necessary adjustments.

Christianity EtcPentecostal Pastors Argue ‘snake Handling’ Is Their Religious Right by Donmams(op): 11:50am On Nov 26, 2013
Standing in front of his congregation at a small Pentecostal church in Kentucky, Pastor Jamie Coots held the long, sleek body of a poisonous snake, practicing what he considers a holy Christian sacrament, but what others are calling a threat to public safety.

In tiny churches tucked away in rural Appalachia, “snake handling,” which began generations ago as an expression of faith, is turning into a fight over religious freedom.

Coots, the pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Jesus Name in Middlesboro, Ky., and his followers believe that God calls upon them to handle venomous serpents and to drink other poisons. Even if they are bitten, they will refuse medical treatment because they believe that they are worthy of God’s faith, and that their fate is in God’s hands.

Using serpents during services is a long-standing tradition, one that took root in this region of Appalachia more than a century ago.

Four generations of Coots’ family have handled serpents as Pentecostal preachers, from his grandfather down through his now grown son.

But local authorities see these snakes as a reckless, even dangerous menace to public safety. Religious snake handling has been outlawed in most states, including Kentucky and Tennessee. Several snake-handling practitioners across the country have died after being bitten, and there are concerns about the poisonous snakes being let loose in communities.

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency officials last week seized 50 poisonous snakes, including rattlesnakes and copperheads, from Andrew Hamblin, the pastor of a Pentecostal church called the Tabernacle Church of God in LaFollette, Tenn., and cited him for illegally possessing dangerous animals. But Hamblin said the state is violating his First Amendment religious rights.

“I’m in the United States of America and I have a constitutional right,” he said. “If the spirit of God moves on me and I take up serpents I should have my constitutional right to do it.”

These pastors believe that to “take up serpents” is a form of religious expression. In the King James Bible, Mark 16:18 says, “They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them.” “For me, taking up serpents is like Catholics using wine in their religious ceremonies,” Hamblin said. “If people have their right to do things maybe I don’t agree with or uphold, I’m not going to judge them.”

Coots mentored Hamblin in his church in Kentucky before Hamblin left for Tennessee, a state with more severe restrictions on dangerous wildlife. Both pastors appeared in the National Geographic special “Snake Salvation,” after which Tennessee authorities cracked down on Hamblin.

In court last week, Hamblin appeared before the judge to applause from his supporters, all wearing red, as he pled not guilty to possession of dangerous wildlife.

“If God moves on me and I feel led through him by the Holy Ghost to reach my arm into a box of rattlesnakes I should have my religious right to do that,” Hamblin said at a news conference.

But Tennessee District Attorney General Lori Phillips-Jones said the law applies to everyone and doesn’t discriminate based on a person’s faith. It’s about the nature of the poisonous animal, she said.

“It’s not a religion issue. It’s an issue of possessing an animal that Tennessee law says, you’re not allowed to possess them,” Phillips-Jones said. “It’s a violation of the law.”

It’s estimated that 125 churches in the United States use poisonous snakes during services today, with many clustered in the South.

Christianity Etc5 Ways The Prosperity Gospel Is Hurting Africa by Donmams(op): 8:27am On Nov 23, 2013
By J. Lee Grady.

The prosperity gospel isn't really helping the people of Africa.

I’m not an African, but in 2008 some Nigerian friends gave me a Yoruba name (“Akinwale”), because I have been to that country so often. My visits there, along with trips to Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, South Africa and Egypt, planted a deep love for Africa in my heart. My first grandson’s arrival this year from Ethiopia made the connection even stronger.

I’m often asked to describe how God is moving in Africa today. Since I’m an optimist, I usually tell of the large churches, the passionate praise and the intense spiritual hunger that characterises African Christianity. But there is also a dark side, and I think it’s time we addressed one of the most serious threats to faith on the continent. I’m talking about the prosperity gospel. Of course, I know a slick version of this message is preached in the United States — and I know we are the ones who exported it overseas. I am not minimising the damage that prosperity preaching has done in my own country. But I have witnessed how some African Christians are taking this money-focused message to new and even more dangerous extremes.

Here are five reasons the prosperity message is damaging the continent of Africa today:

It is mixed with occultism. Before Christianity came to Nigeria, people visited witch doctors and sacrificed goats or cows to get prosperity. They poured libations on the ground so the gods would hear their prayers. Today similar practices continue, only the juju priest has been replaced by a pastor who drives a Mercedes-Benz. I am aware of a pastor who buried a live animal under the floor of his church to win God’s favour. Another pastor asked his congregants to bring bottles of sand to church so he could anoint them; he then told the people to sprinkle the sand in their houses to bring blessings. The people who follow these charlatans are reminded that their promised windfall won’t materialise unless they give large donations.

It fuels greed. Any person who knows Christ will learn the joy of giving to others. But the prosperity gospel teaches people to focus on getting, not giving. At its core it is a selfish and materialistic faith with a thin Christian veneer. Church members are continually urged to sow financial seeds to reap bigger and bigger rewards. In Africa, entire conferences are dedicated to collecting offerings in order to achieve wealth. Preachers boast about how much they paid for suits, shoes, necklaces and watches. They tell their followers that spirituality is measured by whether they have a big house or a first-class ticket. When greed is preached from the pulpit, it spreads like a cancer in God’s house.

It feeds pride. This greedy atmosphere in prosperity churches has produced a warped style of leadership. My Kenyan friend Gideon Thuranira, editor of Christian Professional magazine, calls these men “churchpreneurs”. They plant churches not because they have a burden to reach lost souls, but because they see dollar signs when they fill an auditorium with chairs. A selfish message produces bigheaded opportunists who need position, applause and plenty of perks to keep them happy. The most successful prosperity preacher is the most dangerous, because he can convince a crowd that Jesus died to give you and me a Lexus.

It works against the formation of Christian character. The prosperity message is a poor imitation of the gospel, because it leaves no room for brokenness, suffering, humility or delay. It offers an illegal shortcut. Prosperity preachers promise instant results and overnight success; if you don’t get your breakthrough, it’s because you didn’t give enough money in the offering. Jesus calls us to deny ourselves and follow Him; prosperity preaching calls us to deny Jesus and follow our materialistic lusts. There is a leadership crisis in the African Church, because many pastors are so set on getting rich, they can’t go through the process of discipleship that requires self-denial.

It actually keeps people in poverty. The government of Malawi is currently under international scrutiny because of fraud carried out by top leaders. The saddest thing about the so-called “Cashgate” scandal is that professing Christians in the administration of President Joyce Banda have been implicated. One of these people stole millions of kwacha from the government and hid the cash in a teddy bear! Most people today in Malawi live on less than $1 a day, yet their leaders have been known to buy fleets of cars and huge plots of land with money that was not theirs. Sadly, the prosperity gospel preached in Malawi has encouraged pastors and leaders to follow the same corrupt pattern. As a result, God’s people have been financially exploited.

When Jesus described false prophets as wolves in sheep’s clothing, He warned us to examine their fruit. Matthew 7:17 says, “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit” (NASB). What is the fruit of prosperity preaching? Churches have been growing rapidly in many parts of Africa today, yet sub-Saharan Africa is the only region in the world where poverty has increased in the past 25 years. So according to the statistics, the prosperity gospel is not bringing prosperity! It is a flawed message, but I believe God will use selfless, broken African leaders to correct it.

PoliticsBest Military Rule Worse Than Any Democracy – Ihejirika by Donmams(op): 8:14am On Nov 23, 2013
The chief of army staff (COAS), Lt-Gen. Azubuike Ihejirika, yesterday declared that the best military administration anywhere in the world could not be compared to the worst form of democratic rule.

At a public presentation of a book entitled “Democracy in Nigeria and the Induction of National Representatives and State Coordinators of the National Democratic Stakeholders Group (NDSG)”, organised by the NDSG in Abuja, Ihejirika pledged that the military would continue to defend Nigeria against any aggression.

Represented by the chief of civil military affairs, Army Headquarters, Maj-Gen. Mobolaji Koleoso, Ihejirika said that the Nigerian military, realising the importance of democracy in national transformation, would not relent in its effort at entrenching the norm.

“The military has contributed immensely to our democracy. We are doing it and we have cause to realise that the best military government is still not comparable to democracy. We are in support of this and we are ready to defend the territorial integrity of this nation. We are taking our duty very seriously to defend this nation. We are committed to it. What we demand from Nigerians is that we should be well understood; we need information to be able to root out these criminals in our society and we will treat all the information with utmost confidentiality,” he said.

Minister of interior Comrade Abba Moro, who reviewed the book, said it centres on politics, leadership and developmental issues in Nigeria.

The author, Akor Kletsaint, said the book was published to document the essence of Nigeria’s democracy.

Also yesterday, the commander, Presidential Guards Brigade, Brig. Gen. Emmanuel Atewe, attributed the improved security situation in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to the synergy between the command and other security agencies.

Atewe spoke to State House correspondents after decorating four promoted officers of the Guards Brigade with their new rank of lieutenant colonel.

The Presidential Guards Brigade is a special unit of the military charged with the security of the president, the seat of government and its environs.

“We have done our best to carry out our assignments as dictated by the law and of course with the help of other sister agencies. The Guards Brigade cannot carry out the security situation in Abuja all alone and environs. With the assistance of other security agencies, civilians and our friends, we find out that we have been able to do the little we have contributed to the security in Abuja environment,” Atewe said.

He also reminded them of the maxim of zero tolerance for indiscipline and insolence in the Guards Brigade.

Atewe said that, with the new rank of lieutenant colonel, the officers have assumed the role of chief security officer that could be assigned with 700 and more officers and men for any operation.

The promoted officers are Kingsley Inyang (36) from Akwa Ibom, Ahmed Ahmadu (38) from Edo, Chukwuka Akaliho (36) from Abia and Oseni Braimoh (36) also from Edo State.

We were very few indeed; we were just about three or four. I was doing that because I saw what happened in Cameroun between Paul Biya and his predecessor, Ahmadu Ahidjo, when Ahidjo travelled for medical treatment. I was also doing it for posterity.

Ahidjo’s advisers and medical staff advised him to abdicate and go for treatment, and then come back to reclaim his mandate when he returns. Ahidjo sought the advice of his mother and she told him that since the doctor said he has no medicine against death, he can’t stop you from dying, and if that is the case, you should rather die as a leader, instead of an ordinary person. That was what his mother reportedly told him.

But Ahidjo chose to relinquish power to the person he felt he trusted the most. But what happened afterwards, even the French President on a visit to Cameroun informed Ahidjo that he has kept a scorpion in his pocket. In fact Ahidjo was shoved aside even during the farewell ceremony for the French President and it was made clear to him that he was a nobody.

At the end of the day, words got to Ahidjo on a visit to his mother that plans have been concluded to arrest him there and he fled the country. He never went back till he died.

It is the fear of such for Yar’Adua that we insisted that he should not transmit power to Jonathan, since the Constitution did not make it mandatory for him to hand over power. After all there was nothing Jonathan could not do in the absence of his boss.

However, most northern governors and elders insisted that he should handover. A judge even said since Yar’Aua’s deputy is already running the government, there was no need for any documented transfer of power. Our fear was that once he transferred his power, they would never have allowed him to return to this country.

That was why his ADC and CSO arranged with the Chief of Army Staff for him to be returned secretly at night without anybody’s knowledge. The fear was that if those in government or Jonathan knew about the return, he might order soldiers to go to the airport and prevent him from landing.

Nairaland GeneralMan Wrongfully Convicted Of Murder Celebrates Freedom After 25 Years In Prison by Donmams(op): 9:54pm On Nov 22, 2013
What would you do to celebrate getting out of prison, where you were sent nearly 25 years ago for a crime you didn't commit?

Derrick Deacon, a Brooklyn man who was released on Monday from prison, chose drinking orange juice and eating chili and chicken with his family and friends, according to New York Postreports.

Deacon, 58, had been convicted in 1989 of killing 16-year-old Anthony Wynn in the middle of a robbery in Brooklyn. He was given a new trial last year after an FBI cooperator said another man was the killer. A separate witness also recanted her testimony. The jury in the new trial deliberated for nine minutes before returning with a "not guilty" verdict on Monday, according to the Village Voice.

Deacon, 58, said his knees buckled when he heard the verdict.

“I was trembling. I was in tears. I couldn’t believe it. I told my lawyer, she got to hold me,” he said.

What will he do now? Deacon told the Post he hopes to open his own business, perhaps a barber shop. He also spoke of writing a book.

During his decades behind bars, Deacon missed out on a lot of technological advances, including the cellphone revolution.

From the Post:

"When I was in the streets, I remember using a phone in the case — you had to pull on the top, big phones,” he said.

“When I see [my lawyer] texting, I was like, ‘What is this?’ I was like, ‘Wow, it’s a different world man.’”

Deacon's case raises troubling questions about how he was convicted in the first place. The Village Voicereports that Deacon was convicted after investigators coerced a witness named Colleen Campbell, who knew he hadn't commited the crime.

At Deacon's retrial, Campbell said authorities had threatened to take her kids away if she testified that she knew Deacon wasn't the killer, according to the Village Voice. Another witness testified that Deacon did commit the shooting, which was enough to convict him.

After the retrial in which Deacon was found not guilty, the New York Dailiy Newsreported that the jury foreperson questioned why a retrial was even needed. "There was never a shred of evidence against Derrick Deacon. Why did they try him a second time if he's been in jail for 24 years?"

PoliticsBoko Haram Has No Religious Colouration – Badeh by Donmams(op): 3:06pm On Nov 22, 2013
The Chief of Air Staff Air Marshall Alex Badeh said yesterday in Makurdi, Benue State, that Boko Haram activities have no religious colouration and that the Air force would not compromise in their dealings with the insurgents.

Air Marshall Badeh, who spoke during the opening ceremony of Air Warrant Officers/Regimental Sergeant Majors and senior non-commissioned officers workshop held at the NAF base in Makurdi, urged his men to fight the insurgents without bias to religion.

“Boko Haram has no religious coloration. So whether you are a Muslim or Christian in the Air force, you must defend the peace of the country,” he said.

He stressed the need for Airforce men and officers to do their jobs strictly in compliance with the Nigerian constitution.

“We must obey the constitution. It is the constitution that made Jonathan a president. Whether you like him or not, you must obey the constitution. Who told you that those people (Boko Haram) are fighting on the side of religion? We must all extinguish the fire and the backbone is the airmen,” Badeh said.

He said the force would soon unveil GULMA Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, which is West Africa’s first indigenously developed aircraft to support security engagements in the country.

Earlier, the Chief of Administration, AVM Nicholas Spiff reiterated the leadership’s resolve to transform the Air force into a self reliant and highly professional fighting force through the application of innovative technology.

Car TalkRe: Users Of Tinted Glass Risk N50,000 Fine, 6-Month Jail Term —Senate by Donmams(m): 10:00am On Nov 22, 2013
It is unfortunate that our national sinators think that banning tinted glasses is a good strategy for fighting crime. It is even more unfortunate that our esteemed lawbreakers will the first to break such a law. These people are only there to fill their stomachs. The rest of Nigerians can go to hell as far as they are concerned.
PoliticsRe: Okonjo-iweala Slams Punch Newspaper Over ‘malicious, Defamatory’ Editorial! by Donmams(m): 9:54am On Nov 22, 2013
It beats my imagination why some fools will claim that the North and South West are against mr. President and his ministers whenever they criticize the gov't. Well let them hear that the north and the southwest have over 75% voting strength. It will be the end of the igbo loving president in 2015. The South East will regret their stupidity for siding with jonathan for the next 200 years.
PoliticsRe: Nairalander Dares GEJ... Present The 22million Plus That Voted For You! by Donmams(m): 6:15pm On Nov 20, 2013
Right on point OP. The 22 million is pure fiction. That is why when Justice Salami asked the same question GEJ had him removed from office. GEJ did not get 22 million votes. He stole them.

drnoel: why dont u wait till it happens first but then u will wait 4ever cos its wont ever happen
Really? Isn't it why GEJ set up the National Conference. We all know it's a southern agenda to divide the country. So what are you talking about?
PoliticsRe: Should There Be Cross-migration If Nigeria Disintegrates? by Donmams(op): 5:02pm On Nov 20, 2013
Peinstein: Even if Nigeria divides, there will be nothing like north and south, we are not korea. We only existed as north and south as a protectorate. I really don't think relations will be that mutual between nations that emerge out of Nigeria, migration will initially be frustrated until trust is developed.
You miss the point. When i talked about cross migration i meant will northerners in the south be allowed to return to their region and vice versa?

kubi240: A meaningless thread
Since Nigeria has been predicted to fall apart in 2015, i think Nigerians should think critically about what a post 2015 scenario will look like.
