Nana (35, real name Lim Jin-ah), an actor and singer formerly of the group After School, who subdued an armed intruder at her home after a physical struggle, has been counter-sued by the perpetrator, a man in his 30s identified as A, on charges including attempted murder. A, who was arrested on suspicion of special aggravated robbery resulting in injury, filed a police complaint against Nana, claiming he sustained injuries while being restrained during the incident. On the 2nd, Nana’s agency Sublime stated, “While the investigation by authorities has clearly confirmed A’s criminal acts in the robbery case against Nana, A has filed a separate lawsuit against Nana without showing any sign of remorse.” According to Nana’s side, A recently filed a complaint with the police accusing her of attempted murder and special injury. The agency added, “A is causing secondary harm through inhumane acts, exploiting the fact that the victim is a public figure. In particular, during the crime committed by the armed perpetrator, Nana and her family suffered severe physical and mental harm, and the resulting pain continues to this day.” It further emphasized, “We prioritize protecting the rights of our artists and will take all possible civil and criminal legal actions against the perpetrator. We will continue to respond responsibly to ensure the artist does not suffer further harm.” Earlier, on November 15 of last year at around 6 a.m., an intruder armed with a weapon entered Nana’s home in Acheon-dong, Guri. A reportedly climbed a prepared ladder to the balcony, entered through an unlocked door, and injured Nana’s mother by choking her. Upon hearing her mother’s screams, Nana woke up and confronted A. After a physical struggle, the mother and daughter restrained A by holding his arms and called the police. Nana’s mother temporarily lost consciousness due to her injuries but recovered after treatment, while Nana also received medical care for her wounds. It was later revealed that Nana holds a 4th-degree black belt in Taekwondo. During the incident, A injured his jaw and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Consequently, the police reviewed whether the case fell under justifiable self-defense under Article 21, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Act, which stipulates that self-defense is valid if there is a “current unjust infringement” and the response has “reasonable grounds.” The police concluded that since there was a real threat to Nana and her mother, and no serious injury was inflicted on A during the defense, it constituted justifiable self-defense. A source from the agency stated, “Nana’s mother suffered severe injuries from the attacker’s assault, losing consciousness, and Nana also sustained physical injuries while escaping the crisis.” During the police investigation, A reportedly stated, “I did not know it was a celebrity’s residence and committed the crime due to financial difficulties.” The Guri Police Station, Gyeonggi, referred A for prosecution on November 24 of last year on charges of special aggravated robbery resulting in injury.

SpatialKing:I find it hard to understand your logic. Israel has the right to defend itself and commit genocide and war crimes against the Palestinian people, yet you don't believe Hamas has the right to commit genocide and war crimes against Israel and Israelis? Why is that? Why does Israel have your support but when HAMAS did same you cried foul? |
SpatialKing:But how exactly did HAMAS attack Israel? I'm curious to know if you even know. |
guass:Not only the UN but; Human Rights Watch Save the Children Doctors Without Borders Amnesty International Action against Hunger +100 Other reputable Agencies are all biased according to your logic? Do you always think this way or only when Muslims/Arabs are involved? |
SpatialKing:Do you even realize what you are implying? So you are saying if Niger Delta terrorists kidnap American/Israeli citizens, then America/Israel has the right to bomb our entire country until the hostages are released? Is this what your idea of justice is? |
A United Nations inquiry has found that Israel’s war on Gaza is a genocide, a landmark moment after nearly two years of war. Navi Pillay, chairwoman of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, told Al Jazeera on Tuesday about its findings, which hold Israeli leaders – including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and President Isaac Herzog – responsible. “We’ve identified the president, the prime minister and the former minister of defence based on their statements and the orders that they’ve given,” Pillay said in an interview. “Because these three individuals were agents of the state, under the law, the state is held responsible. So we say it’s [the] State of Israel that has committed genocide,” she added. According to the report, the commission found that, along with the statements made by the Israeli officials, there was “circumstantial evidence” that led to their findings of genocidal intent. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/9/16/first-head-of-united-nations-body-declares-israels-gaza-war-a-genocide |
DuBLINGreenb:What is this one saying? |
So he is not arguing that he was wrongfully convicted. No. He infact agrees that he is a thief. His only grouse is that he was forced to confess he was a thief through less than fully legal means. What rubbish! |
Post-Jamb has been scrapped. |

Funny Judgment. The tenant admitted to the charge against him. But he says he has no money to pay. Yet the court is still ordering him to pay. Is the court going to give him the money? |

Yesterday, a dangote truck lost control and crushed a vehicle fully loaded with passengers from the opposite lane. Warning, the pictures you are about to see are graphic in nature.

I disagree OP. Nigerian banks are unreliable. I have been to the ATM several times where i couldn't withdraw cash because my bank had 'network' issues. Having multiple bank accounts in this case was my only saving grace. If you insist on maintaining just one bank for loyalty sake, be ready to sleep hungry one day! |
LoveMachine:Another potential rustler! |
Thank God no be Dangote Truck. |

Dividends of Buhari's closed border policy. Where are the wailing wailers? |
The mastermind of the dastardly killings of APC members in Rivers State should not be allowed anywhere near a holy site. SMH ![]() |
Should we care? |
Nonsense post by OP. Needlessly castigating one of the best banking innovations of our time. I would have zero problems as far as crooks are willing to steal my money via bank transfer! In this day and age of BVN, the foolish thief who does that will be leading you straight to his doorstep! Even if he provides a fake Address, his biometric data will be flagged and anywhere he opens a new account or makes a transaction within a banking hall he will be arrested immediately! There is nothing 'unsafe' about it! Unless that criminal is a fool he will never attempt transferring money to another account as it is just too easy to trace. This is why the BVN was introduced in the first place! To stop financial crimes completely! |
That's unfortunate. |
OP, the driver just died. |
Dear Frank, your statement makes little sense. You starved your wife of sex for 3 weeks and she is so disturbed she had to attack you in this way. However what i find funny is that your wife who u claimed is sleeping around suddenly turns around to retaliate for starving her of sex. I would think if she truly slept around she would care less whether u slept with her or not. Sex starvation would be the least of her problems. It appears it is you who is the victim of your wickedness to your wife. You should come up with a better story. |
One lesson here: Take her to Tantalizers |
The APC government should as a matter of priority, deal with this menace of brutalizing of civilians by those in uniform no matter the cause. The Army, Police, Civil defence et al are all guilty of such menace. The worst part is those idiots in uniform are paid from tax payers money. Yet they have the audacity to treat civilians in such a manner. Even the COAS was born a civilian. No one is born wearing a uniform. This monstrocity has simply got to stop! Period. |
As usual, a thief is celebrated in Igboland. So unfortunate. |

The PDP is confused as they are not able to hide all their corruption and embezzlement in time for hand over. The truth is 5 years of rot cannot be covered in a month. The PDP has a lot to answer for in the coming months. Whether there is a smooth transition or not, PDP must handover May 29th. The day of reckoning is surely at hand. |
