This is a good question. A friend referred me to naijadomains.com. Please has anyone used it? |

Nonsense Peoples'Club! Who monitors members to know when they commit adultery? Do they just come for confession after a heavy sermon by the club priest? Or does d club aim to break homes by accepting allegations from members' wives and then proceed to fine the reported members? |
ibsmooth: I AGREE WITH U 100%.But the crux of the matter is that most people including lawyers are making the mistakes that jonathan can context the 2015 elections.1999 constitution as amended says a governor/president can vie and stay in office for a maximum of 8years(2 terms)or less than that. The case of 5 governors of last year ruling by supreme is still fresh in our memories.(Cross River,Kogi,Sokoto,Adamawa and kebbi). The point is this;Yar'adua/Jonathan is considered by law as joint ticket and single term even if Jonathan spent 1month,secondly no election took place after Yar'adua's death,Jonathan has been sworn in twice and any election to swear him in will be third and surpass eight years as enshrine in the constitution.Ameachi knows what he is doing.Don't also forget Ameachi never contested his first term in office when he took over from Omerua in October 2007 supreme court ruling yet the 2nd term in office elections were held in April. Why?because it was not a joint ticket but a PDP ticket.GEJ should stop wasting his money as this is his last term in office constitutionally.Remember the case of Boni haruna and Atiku of Adamawa state in 1999.I disagree with u brother. . .GEJ is constitutionally and morally allowed to contest for 2015, if he so desires. Ur analogies aren't on d same premise as Jonathan's case. Amaechi rushed into d 2011 bandwagon to buy time and it favoured him. He cud have stayed and run for 2nd tenure at d exact expiration of his first tenure but given d kind of relationship he had with GEJ, he wisely followed d automatic ticket people. Timi Sylva wasn't that wise or lucky. . .cos Amaechi wud have suffered d same fate from GEJ. |
Cowardice! What are his advisers thinking? GEJ will call him and ask NFF to get him a better condition of service? He can ask for that in a formal way not this blackmail. The same way he was on d wings. . .waiting for Siasia to b sacked, that's how others were waiting for him to lose and b sacked and he didn't help matters with his first 3 matches. So he shudn't blame NFF for preparing a sack letter waiting for him to lose to CIV. My advise: he shud go back to his job and negotiate for an improved contract. . .not blackmailing NFF cos d ovation seems to be loud and in his favour. |
Demdem: Unfortunate but will have to agree with this. The same set of people rejoicing then are now lamenting now because its now happening to them. This issue must be investigated no doubt.I was of d opinion that d Hausa Fulani mentioned above had a group called Boko Haram which has been bombing and killing people indiscriminately and has been declared a terrorist organisation. Don't think I heard such about MASSOB. Again, The people killed were mostly killed during shootout or immediately after a massacre. Dumping over 30 adult bodies in a river that supplies "potable" water to a few communities is not only a gruesome murder but environmental pollution and disease-spreading. That can cause wide-spread epidemic! I'm not saying that d bodies were MASSOB members (neither do I believe d culpability of d police) but u cannot justify such killing even if it was BOKO HARAM. |
uihebom: person wey fit feed your whole state for 10years nonstop should shut up abi? I dey find very baddd word for dictionary wey I go use describe you.U sound insane! if he can feed d guy's country for a hundred years. . .so freaking what? Is JayZ feeding d village now? how does his money affect d guy's life or lifestyle? Hero-worshipers like u do not prosper cos u stubbornly refuse to think on ur own. I dare say that JayZ sud shut d F up and face his family, while allowing others to form theirs; protege koh porridge nih |
Ahmedie25: sentement has blocked your sense of reasoning,Nigeria wil not progress with people like youAre u ok? D current governor was made deputy to balance d religious equation. Sambo is vice for the same reason. Why attack d poster? |
46arcadez: Dis rumour has bin on air 4 sometime now but i pray dat he stays alive. NOW THE CAUSE OF HIS ILLNESS; Two things on point (1) idolatry: God so much love enugu state but gov chime shared money 2 traditional rulers 2 encourage idol tins (masquerade festival)The two most stupiid causes of illness! How daft can u get? |
stagger: Ha hahahahahaha!I seed foool in u from ur post. Even ur pastors divorce their wives and remarry. U didn't judge them, u judge Mr. Ibu cos he is an actor? |
^^^ @snthesis; and what has "loading" had on u during the year under review? We need to b decisiveness among our youths! |
PointB: I support the idea of 6 regions. The same thing d man said in d interview conducted in his London home: Make Lagos and Abuja Federal Territories cos of their current make-up and being recent and current seats of power. |
You sound so bitter about the great Sage, AWOLOWO, and it is so easy to know where you're from. According to the nomination rules you can not nominate Awo into the Hall of Shame, this is 2012 bro; please don't let your hate for this great Nigerian becloud your sense of sight to read and reason. Let go of the past so as to move on, Prof Achebe's account of the Civil war, I guess, is not mention to create monsters who hate.
In a bid to fault and insult another man, u just made a great foool of urself. Ur blind love for the Sage (whom I don't hate by any means) has made u so blind and unable to read his post which clearly stated "all blind supporters of d sage". He just nominated u and ur like for the hall of shame and u proved him so right. #SHAME |
Good thread. Have been out of NL politics ***just frontpaging*** Hall of fame: Barth Nnaji (I saw a man with vision; who was on a mission to better d Nigerian power sector. Wish he stayed) Hall of shame: Femi Fanny-Kayode (a confused human mistake who keeps misleading his followers. What was his senseless article on Obama for? . . . and there were more: his tirade against Chinua Achebe showed how disrespectful a fooolish man can get. He is s shame to all silver-spoon Nigerian youths). |
Abagworo: Dino has been vindicated. Not yet. BTW, vindicated of what? He has not told us he was faithful to his wife. He had a canal knowledge of pro cheating on his wife in d first place. Are u now implying that phukin extra-maritally is acceptable provided it doesn't result to conception? |
KINGwax: u probably didn't read his comment, or your ability to apprehend has greatly declinedApprehend who? |
Poorly-written article! We were not even told about d girl's background. What is she doing in Benin, is that her home? A poor woman (who has no money, got deported)shud b found in her home state or where her family lives (may be they lived.live in Benin sha) Traffickers count on girls to be afraid to run away because they swear a "juju" oath that many believe has magical powers. Before she left Nigeria, Amaka swore she would obey and pay the madam, or face death. This statement shows that she was not lured/forced to Europe, she begged for it, paid all her savings and even swore to offset whatever "cost" her movement from Nigeria may entail (cost her traffickers). She got to Italy illegally, a land she knew nothing about. Then she was moved to another strange land, France (without any legal paper or residence). The going got tougher than expected and she is here playing the victim. She is simply a greedy slut who got tired of local prics but lacked the heart to weather the storm of hostile foreign prics! |
2Face! His songs are evergreen. DBanj's fizzles out after a year or two. Listen to "Be There" and get my drift, songs u can play from year to year. |
Brendan is a joke! Downing and Henderson starting ahead of Jack Robinson and Sahin/Shelvey. What was he trying to prove? |
Alomo Bitters is just herbs soaked in spirit (kai-kai, shekpe, sapele water) for extraction. When u drink it, u sure are taking (diluted) local gin and u must get high. People drink it for different reasons but most young ones take it as normal drink enhancer. Very few take it as d drug/medicine it was meant to be. As with all alcohols, it is intoxicating and addictive. I know Swedish Bitters and Yoyo Bitters (which I had used purely as a presumed system-cleansing drug. . .with tablespoons) I have also seen a billboard advert for Action Bitters (quite funny how Nigerians imitate presumed good/movable things). My advise to those who engage in (drug)Alomo abuse, is that they shud desist from such. It is dangerous. We just take things without thinking about their side-effects. Must we get high? D answer is no. Even the s3x that makes most people drink is better had and enjoyed when sober so y kill urself for nothing? |
Colonial buildings and roads all over Lagos! When will our own people build our own Lagos? |
Waiting for Ajegunle in pix. . .d real Lagos! |
impetus: Thank u jare! The faceless nature of Nairaland has made it possible for everybody to claim authority in every matter. Imagine that boy claiming there are no cultists in anti-cult! Who then do u settle to prevent campus wars? I deliberately did not want to mention names of men Ilochi arm-twisted out of SUG politics: Yellow Dog, Olumo, etc. Olumo's protege, Ikoro E. Ikoro was almost rusticated for not stopping the student protest of 2002. Served an indefinite suspension that was only reduced by the court of law. Today Ikoro and co are PDP top-dogs in Anambra. So Ilochi is a bit doomed politically. Kizito, a second year student (elected D.O.T) was installed as the SUG presido by Ilochi. He ran the office for 2 years (without elections) and later became P.A to d VC Ilochi. That was autocratic! Ilochi Killed unionism in Awka. That does not justify his kidnap nor imply that any of those has a hand. Just why he may not make it in PDP. |
Hychineson: plz mind ur words. I am a member of anticultism squad in Unizik and there is no ex cultist among the group. Once again, mind ur words.Keep quiet! U are warning him like u are one of d current cultists in d anti-cult squad. When did u join Unizik? Do u know Ilochi? Do u know Pita Ejiofo? We all know that before u dreamt of joining UNIZIK, anti-cult squad was in existence and that both cultists and ex-cultists were in d anti-cult squad. Where were u when cultists were granted amnesty in Unizik (1999/2000-2000/2001)? When men are talking small boys will be warning them to mind their words!!! As for Ilochi, strong man. A bit highhanded but very visionary. Lawyer to Chimaraoke Nnamani even as Dean Law faculty. Joined politics later but his "sins" found him out as his ex-students who run things in Anambra PDP fought, and still fight, to stifle his senate dreams. |
zonax: Enugu, south east, Nigeria and the whole of Africa knows that flavour is the best. How can can say the bold stuff? Bottom Belle that my father used to run things? Pls stick to personal choices n not rewriting history. I like Flavour BTW as I thought J Martins was singing nonsense with his "chop me like biscuit" and "Food sweet buh God sweet pass" lines. Lately though with good exposure, Martins has infused a lot of maturity into his music. I feel his collabos better. The East African touch is evident and I love him for the change. I enjoy Flavour when I drink and wanna rock some Asa buh I listen to J. Martins. . . .plus, J. Martins is d best Highlife beat-maker in Nigeria (MJ, Wizboy, n Wagagee won't see his back) |
stupid people still talking about Illuminati. Just because they are successful and you are not does not mean they join a satanic group to be successful
Does any satanic group exist? U are equally guilty of d very same thing u accuse others of. . .speculations! If u are free to allege d existence of any satanic group, give others d freedom to allege that some successful people joined ur satanic group. Simple enough? |
idupaul: And here I was thinking this Kidnap must have been organised by disgruntled SW boys .. People of Igbo extraction need to get their act together you guys are definitely a thorn in the worlds flesh as it stands now .. And pls I am not a tribalistPls what are u? Crime is now an Igbo affair? |
