21 DAYS PRAYER AND FASTING FOR NIGERIA PRAYER POINTS FOR MONDAY 5TH FEBRUARY 2018 1. We speak forth salvation in all sectors and regions of Nigeria. Declare that angels of salvation are gone forth into the nation; the hearts of men are open to the gospel and there is a massive harvest of souls into the Kingdom. Pray specially for the light of the gospel to shine in the hearts of leaders and decision makers in our nation that salvation may break forth amongst them. Declare divine visitations and the orchestration of circumstances to cause the unsaved among them to hear and receive the gospel. ACTS 11:13-14 – And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter; 14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved. 2. Pray specially for the body of Chist in Nigeria; declare that the church in this nation is strengthened to continually occupy her place as God’s agent of change, and the restraining force against evil. Declare that through the work of the church in Nigeria, the gospel is prevailing and the influence of Christ continues to dominate, subduing darkness and evil and all manipulations of satan to destroy our nation. MATTHEW 16:18- … I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 3. Pray for the protection and preservation of children in our nation; we come against accidents and death of children, declaring that children all over this nation are preserved from all forms of harm and danger. Pray for safety and divine provision for children in volatile areas, and those who have been displaced, that they may yet grow up to be men and women of dignity and value in their generation. MATHEW 18:10 – Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. 4. Pray for righteousness and truth to prevail in the judicial system of our nation. Declare that the judges will administer the law under the fear of God and refrain from perverting justice. Pray against corruption in the Judiciary, and proclaim that all who subvert the course of justice for personal gains will not prosper, but will face the speedy judgement of the Lord, the Judge of all the earth. PROVERBS 21:3 - To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. LAMENTATIONS 3:34-36 (TLB) – But you have trampled and crushed beneath your feet the lowly of the world, and deprived men of their God-given rights, and refused them justice. No wonder the Lord has had to deal with you! 5. Pray against the menace of terrorist activities, unprovoked killings and land grabbing in certain parts of our nation; we declare that they proceed no further in our nation. We rebuke the spirits behind these evil trends and we reassign angels to take charge where they had held sway. We declare that all who sponsor violence and bloodshed are brought to nothing; their wealth is diminished, their voices are silenced, and the boldness of those who perpetrate violent acts is taken from them. ISAIAH 60:18 – Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. PSALMS 11:6 – The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. 6. Pray that all political processes in our nation would be characterized by peace and fairness, devoid of violence. We declare that all who do not regard the sanctity of life, but are unafraid to shed blood and cause mayhem in the pursuit of their political goals will have no place in the government of our nation; their wealth will fail them, and their influence will suddenly expire, for the Lord Himself will resist them. We declare peaceful and free elections at all levels, everywhere in this nation in Jesus’ name. PSALMS 72:14 – He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: And precious shall their blood be in his sight. PROVERBS 28:28 (NIV) - When |

subtlemee:And they sure did cos 80% of our grandfather's didn't have a university education. In fact, the standard dropped as more people were able to to get a university education. University isn't for everybody. In their days, a standard 5 student will beat the average university graduate of today. So is that what you wish for covenant university? What is important is that we strengthen existing institutions. The government institutions should be made more competitive. More money should be budgeted for education. |
kingmeme:That's was your problem, you were waiting for help from above that had already come 2000 years ago. |
akdjr:Maybe you don't have ears |

Pray for the will, desire and boldness in the hearts of our leaders to do what is right and refuse to yield to corruption and negative influences; that peace may prevail in this nation and the gospel may have free course. Declare that leaders who persist in the exalting and pursuing their personal or sectorial agendas to the detriment of the nation would suddenly be unseated and have no part in the glorious future of our great nation. Isaiah 32:1 – Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. JOB 18:5, 8, 17 - Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine…For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare…His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street. 2. Pray for the young people in our nation, that they are guided into God’s perfect will for their lives, protected from compromising and ungodly influences; declare that Christian youths are standing out as leaders in their generation with boldness, and their dreams and visions borne out of the Word of God will come to fruition as they set forth examples of godly living. Prophesy significant positive changes in the economy of this nation; declare that our economy is conducive for businesses and investments to thrive, and that our leaders are yielded to God’s wisdom in steering the nation on the path of sustained economic progress. We reject non-functional economic policies and greedy economic advisers, and declare that all who sit over the nation’s economy will only be people of unselfish integrity, with genuine commitment to the betterment of the nation and her people. 2KINGS 7:1 - Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. 2 Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. 5. Pray and declare that more and more of our brethren and people who have been genuinely influenced by, and boldly identify with our ministry and message, are granted supernatural opportunities and access in governance, business etc., and they are coming into positions of authority and decision making in this nation to chart a new course and set new standards and records by the wisdom of God. Jeremiah 1:10 - See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. |

Acts 20:32 – And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified 3. Luke 10:33-34 – But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 34And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 5. Declare that every resistance to the gospel is broken, and that as we go forth preaching the gospel everywhere, men's hearts are open to receive our message for their salvation, and satan's bondage and deception is destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 - But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2. Pray that like never before, the message of our ministry gains mighty access into every strata of life in this nation, and more and more people in authority are being influenced by our message, causing only righteous laws and decisions that favour Christ's purpose to be made in this nation. Acts 19:20 - So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. 3. Pray that the light of our glorious Gospel will continue to shine with increased intensity in our country. Declare that the government of the day will promote human rights and dignity, peace and a conducive atmosphere for the preaching of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in every state of this nation. Proverbs 29:2 - When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. 6. Pray against men or institutions who set themselves to foster persecution of Christians and hinder the spread of the gospel, we declare that such forces proceed no further, and the efforts made are futile. In spite of them, the gospel is spreading and prevailing in this nation. 2 Timothy 3:8-9 - Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was. 7.
