SimplyFacts:Where have I said such in my post? Can you read? Again in case you have short memory. I am saying people should stop the social media name calling. Of course I agree for the law to take its course. If he's find guilty so be it, but people should step up to protect the minor. Do you understand my point now? hopefully... Oh and speaking of Nigerian lawyers, you and I know that a significant amount of them are corrupt, so let's not open up a can of worm in that area. |
adebwalex:Now I can see what the matter is, I see you did claimed in one of your post that you need God's intervention.
|
adebwalex:At least if you are going to plagiarized, do it appropriately. You posted a comment with a quote of such, which means you condone and supported the quote. There you go, you have no way to argue logically with a simple comment sense. I refused to stoop to your level, though I know quite well I'm not in your level by any means. But, I still hope such never happens to your daughter or sister. I can surely help you waste your small naira data. Keep on.. |
adebwalex:I'm glad you really showed the kind of person you are...indeed. You are quoting/posting a statement which claimed he/she called to forgo a case where a minor was assaulted? You need some brain check honestly. Well, good for you that resides where such behavior is treated with levity. In a sane society, I'm sure you'll dare not raised your myopic opinion in such a case. How was he setup when he actually committed the crime on video? Are you listening to yourself at all? He was baited (Though it's wrong to use a minor as bait and that's why I said in one of my post that Princess is also guilty of inappropriate behavior against a minor) and fell for it, which means he's into such an act anyway. If there's no any tangible evidence to go with, don't you think the Judge would have already dismissed the case? In truth, it's people of your caliber that have caused the retrogressive nature of progress in the country... If you can think, you'll know it's morally wrong to be pleading with someone not to prosecute an assault against a minor. What world do you lived in? It's fundamentally wrong, it's immoral, and it's evil. |
adebwalex:I can see you have some mental struggles, You can't argue logically without passing insult, well I do not blame you, it's part of generational decadence passed on. You saying rule of law, how about you wait for rule of law. If you got some sense you'll read in my post that I do not condone what Princess nor baba Ijesha did. They both should be prosecuted plain and simple, they are both guilty of inappropriate behavior against minor, though one crime is much weighty than the other. But it's surprising and interesting to see people like you passing some abusive words without proper logical reasoning. Seun has really let this website derailed into something else. Ijesha single handedly seeks his own downfall when he decided to prey on a minor, let that sink in for you. I know you lack cogent reasoning, but you can still do it. Everything in life is not about abusing people and calling people names. You can argue logically based on facts and still agree to disagree. Is this what the country has turned into? I felt so ashamed of what your generation is turning into. |
adebwalex:The way princess went about the whole thing to secure the proof is unethical and morally wrong, but the society called for that measure. Imagine if there's none of such video and it's only the child story against baba Ijesha? No one will believed the child. However, this guy is wrong and should face the music, regardless of his status in society. As a matter of fact Nigeria should start a registry to post the names and pictures of sex offenders of any kind, so anyone living in their vicinity can be fully aware of their heinous crime. To those who condone immorality in the society, you should be ashamed of yourself. Of course many of you guys are shameless and probably guilty of the same crime. It's just that you've not been caught yet. Again it's wrong to allow any child to go through such an ordeal to obtain proof of a crime and in a sane society, she'll be prosecuted as well. Some people writing comment that he should be more careful next time....Can you imagine? "he should be careful next time"... |
adebwalex:Can you imagine this one rejoicing and passing insult to someone standing up for justice? Will you feel the same way if such is done to your daughter? See reasoning and now people can see why it's hard for the country to progress. What a shame! |
This is funny! What an hypocrite. How many homeless or hungry kids has this Father helped around the world? Did he say anything against kids that was locked up in the cage or did he resent the idea of USA killing of kids around the world in the name of senseless wars? If you are against abortion, how about show us how many struggling kids you've been able to help around you and help educate the people on why it's bad not calling on your white puppet master to do your bidding. |
big7:Well said... Nigeria is an experiment by Lugard and his cohorts. How can you amalgamate people of different background, religion, beliefs, culture and language, and expect peaceful coexistence. Nigeria is not a country, it's a geographical representation according to Papa Awo. Nigerians should advocate for a peaceful dissolution. |
@Op, please can you share the title of all the books written by this man? Thanks |
Why is Delete option to remove my post missing if I changed my mind? |
Sabadon:Well said.... Now we all know USA is quite politically similar to many developing country. |
fullstreets:You are subconsciously judging someone's character based on their hair style? How would you feel if a fellow human being subconsciously think you are a thief because of the way you look or the color of your skin? Is that not the same rationale? Freedom is not based on what you desire as a person. How has someone's hair style becomes a crime? Supporting this kind of backward behavior by Nigerian army is simply unfathomable. Now it's hair style, later it'll become the food that you eat, the speech that comes out of your mouth, or something so absurd to justify their crime. Any Nigerian army that engaged in this kind of behavior is committing a crime against humanity. |
NIN synchronization with a SIM card is useless and fruitless effort by this incompetent and ineptitude individuals at the elms of affairs of this nation. There are so many relevant and important issues to look into, this is not one of them. It will also make it difficult for tourist or travelers to secure SIM card in Nigeria. I am not sure of any major country with similar law around the world. SIM registration should be enough and phone already has a gps tracking in case of crime investigations. The government failed to invest money in technological advancement of different sector. Can we all just agree that this geographic representation called Nigeria (Nigger Area) is a failed one? And we all should works towards a disunion. This amalgamation is not working, how long do we have to unhappily stays in this failed union. We can be a separate country and still work and trade with each other. |
This is why I tell everyone, don't ask people to deliver anything for you and don't accept such offer from no one as well. |
ObaKlaz:So much for someone casting aspersions at others, your writeup above is full of error as well. The fact is, white people from english speaking country makes mistakes as well. It's not an excuse for graduate that can't read/write or conjure simple sentences. The society as a whole has a problem. I am not trying to denigrate or disparage you in whatever way but I am just saying don't throw a stone if you live in a glass house. |
I didn't know prayer was this expensive. So pastors now charge for prayer? This only happens in a clueless country like Nigeria. Can you imagine the effrontery of these officials? |
Royalfurnitures:What has gay people done to you? What have you done to better the lives of the needy, the poor, the kids on the streets since you care so much about abortion? Every human being should have a right to freedom of choice, religion, speech, etc. How would you feel if your way of living is disparaged, criticized, denigrated and popularly rejected? So your ancestors that existed before the introduction of religion are sinners and going to hell fire? Is that how it works? Lets engaged in rational thinking and be conscious of how our decisions affects other fellow human being. Look around, what has people against abortion done to better the life of people around them? |
All these Naija pastors are just making a mockery of themselves and the country. Enough of these prophesies already. |
candidtalk:This is so true, nothing was done to the gruesome killing of Jamal Khashoggi, not a single sanction or visa ban. Instead they flaunted pending billions of dollar military equipment purchase deal by Saudi from America. |
GEEBITE:Thanks for that comment. I know about all those statistics, but here's what I am trying to say. There's no amount of US visa ban will fix Nigeria political system, and inviting US to interfere in Nigeria political system will not amount to any reforms or change. Nigerians have to be willing to fight for the country they love. I also know that a lot of people point finger to politicians all the time, but all Nigerians have to look inward and ask themselves, what role am I playing in the crisis befalling this nation. Many Nigerians except the kids are to blame for the situation of the country today. Politicians are not foreigners, they are Nigerian first before becoming a politician. The society shaped and mode them into what they have become. Nigerians allowed bad leadership to rule them and until Nigerians decided that enough is enough nothing will change. Large population of Nigerians will not vote without getting something. Again, I am not neglecting the fact that the situation is bad, but US visa ban is not the solution, until Nigerians start chasing away bad leader and preventing them from rigging and not helping them to rig. No change will happen. The problem is foundational not from the top. If you remove all politician today and vote new set of politician that has never been in politics, you probably can agree with me that the corruption won't stop. It'll probably be worst, Again there are many decent and honest Nigerians that can move this country ahead, the problem is that they would not be giving a chance, corruption has dig deep into the heart and soul of this country and it's been normalized. Another view of mine is that Nigeria need to reevaluate the democratic system of government to determine if it's well suited for this nation. China does not practice democracy, though they are subject to western criticism. So maybe democracy is not well suited for this country, please I am not advocating for military rule, but I am just saying we need to look inward and find a well suited of system of government that aligns with our tradition, goal and purpose. For example, democracy is in constant conflict with Nigeria tradition, those two are mutually exclusive. |
loopman:You can't say it better enough. Thanks for this comment. Despite the fact that I do not encourage any forms of an election rigging or malpractice, United States has no place or decency to cast aspersions on Nigerian election. For example US still heavily engaged in voter suppression, which in itself is a form of election rigging. According to Wiki, "Voter suppression is a strategy used to influence the outcome of an election by discouraging or preventing specific group of people from voting". Imagine getting to the polling booth and you were told you can't vote because your name has been purged from eligible voters list. You'll be surprised that black people are largely affected by this rigging. They'll close polling booth in certain area that is predominantly black people and leave white polling booth intact. Their excuse is budget issue or other forms of inexcusable statement. Gerrymandering is another form of election rigging that's very prevalent in United States. This involving some kind of redistricting based on demography, basically to keep light skin people at the elms of the affair and power. Another one is lobbying, which is same thing as bribery in Nigeria system. These two words serves the same function. "pay to play". Nigerians should stop seeking US approval when there's corruption in their system. Nigerians need to speak up and stop inviting foreign power to interfere or influence their election. Last time I check, US is still fighting tirelessly to prevent Russia from interfering in its own election. United States democracy is full of flaws but the country knows how to cover its own sins and portray other nation as evil. Nigerian should stop seeking foreign interference/meddling in their political system. These people are always good at pointing finger at wrongdoing and has no intention of helping the nation grow or overcome its challenges. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Os5DlODMoNg |
I read a lot of comments here, some are well enlighten and educating but some are disappointing. Western media are all propaganda machine to deceive, brainwash and skew the truth from black and brown all around the world. They even turned black people against each other to maintain the status quo of white domineering. I found this video online and hopefully it'll do some educating to some folks that have bought into the western media propaganda narrative about black people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNgS78-Wjcc |
The idiotic governor is not even wearing his mask properly. Power drunk lunatic, how did we get here in this country? Pure wickedness, even nations that has thousands of death didn't act to these extend. People should be allowed to go get food and essential supplies, in as much as they are putting on proper PPE and maintaining social distancing. What happen to fines or closure for violation. Nigeria is so backward, it's unbelievable. We keep retrogressing. |
wink2015:You can't say it more better.... I have no clue why a zero tolerance law hasn't been passed all this years. Death sentence for kidnappers, that's what's needed to curb this menace. |
